The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 368: Chapter 368: Rejecting Nathalie Quinlan’s Invitation to Meet Lighten Chaser_1

”Someone who plays underground indie music is that impressive?” Myles Sullivan wasn’t familiar with the music scene; he usually paid attention to the top echelons of society.

Ivy Wilmar gave him a reproachful look and said irritably, ”Do you think I would lie to you? This person is extremely talented. He can also play the Konghou and seems to have some connection with Mr. Norton. His temperament is a lot like Mr. Norton’s too—doesn’t like to show his face in public, and is still quite mysterious to this day.”

Myles Sullivan caught onto her previous words, ’seems to have some connection with Mr. Norton’, and an idea occurred to him, ”In that case, why don’t we ask ’him’ out for a meal? If ’he’ really has a relationship with Mr. Norton, maybe ’he’ can help us make the connection. And if ’he’ has no ties with Mr. Norton... then consider it making a new friend.”

His suggestion was simple, but Ivy Wilmar didn’t know how to explain to him that Lighten Chaser wasn’t that easy to meet.

In the circles of the powerful in Beijing, many of the second and third-generation elites love Lighten Chaser’s music—wild and unrestrained, just the thing young people adore!

Especially since Lighten Chaser himself is such a mystery.

Many of the Wealthy and Beautiful in the socialite circles are ’his’ fangirls, wondering every day how to ask ’him’ out for a meal, just to get to know him.

So far, no one has succeeded!

It goes to show just how difficult it is to get an appointment with Lighten Chaser.

Thinking this to herself and privately also wanting to meet this talented young Lighten Chaser, she masked the difficulty on her face, steadied herself, and said, ”I’ll try my best!”

Oh, if only Lighten Chaser were someone they knew, it would be so much better. With that kind of connection, she wouldn’t have to rack her brains on how to strike up a conversation.

...

Caryn Zachmann finished her shower and also saw the notification on her phone. Her face color darkened a bit as she walked over to the computer and opened it.

She casually typed in the two words ’Lighten Chaser’.

The search results were flooded with news about Lighten Chaser’s new song.

Phoenix.

”Heh, putting on airs!”

She scoffed coldly, her eyes flickering with disdain and envy, yet she couldn’t help herself from opening Lighten Chaser’s account on the music platform.

The other party was super cool, with a profile picture that was just a side view of an anime character, quite wild and bold.

There were hardly any moments or messages either.

But the number of fans on the account was astonishingly high.

She herself had an account on this platform where she posted her own music, and by now she had over a million fans, which was considered a lot among musicians.

But ’Lighten Chaser’s account was in a league of its own.

It had long surpassed ten million fans, not just ten million, but a whole thirty million.

This platform was usually used just for listening to music, and many people were too lazy to register an account. It was said that almost everyone with an account on this music platform followed Lighten Chaser, a testament to his popularity!

She saw several familiar verified accounts among those who followed Lighten Chaser’s account.

One of them was her own brother—Audrick Zachmann.

And when Lighten Chaser’s new song ”Phoenix” was released, her no-good brother actually left comments like an overzealous fan.

[Audrick Zachmannv: Boss, you finally released a new song!]

[Audrick Zachmannv: It’s great! Why do I feel like the style is much more upbeat this time? Boss, you’ve been in a good mood lately? Did something happen?]

[Audrick Zachmannv: The Konghou part is stunning again this time. May I ask presumptuously, is that a drum segment in there that doesn’t sound like a drum set? It sounds a bit like Chimes to me. Jeez, you’ve managed to mix Chimes with Konghou to create rock music, that’s too awesome! Phoenix rising from the ashes, Boss, have you broken through your mental barriers and entered a new state of mind?]

Caryn Zachmann couldn’t help but grip the mouse tightly as she read the comments above.

Who exactly is this Lighten Chaser!
