The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 375: Chapter 375: Ms. Quinlan is the Most Important!_1

Amadeus Yancey had attended before, and he had thought he would attend this time as well.

Who knew that the dashing man would stand up, casually pick up his laptop, his short hair falling haphazardly before his eyes, seemingly with fine specks of light within his pupils, and speak in a husky voice, ”Nathalie has an exam tomorrow, no time!”

”...”

Alfred Garland internally dissed, Ms. Quinlan’s exam has nothing to do with you.

However, he understood Amadeus’s thoughts; Ms. Quinlan was what mattered most!

So he nodded, showing he understood, ”If Ms. Zachmann has invited you, I’ll directly decline it on your behalf.”

”Mhm.” Amadeus Yancey lazily acknowledged, seeming to approve of his statement.

Alfred had a clear idea and looked up at him, ”Ms. Quinlan isn’t at home, so, Amadeus, are you going to... stay at home all day waiting for Ms. Quinlan to return?”

Amadeus Yancey thought about what he had discovered last night, furrowed his brow, and holding the laptop said, ”I have to go out for something.”

Last night he had been following up on some leads from the Illegal Zone, and he had found some information on a particular force, which he needed to pursue further.

After leaving the apartment, Nathalie Quinlan didn’t rush to Pinecone Group but first took a car to Tsinghua University.

The exams were tomorrow, and according to Tsinghua University’s independent recruitment rules, each candidate had to submit their own information.

After the written test, the teachers would use it during the interviews.

At this time, Tsinghua University was already bustling with people; many cars were parked at the school entrance, and some parents had even traveled thousands of miles to accompany their children for the exams and to submit their information.

Tsinghua University’s campus was rarely so lively.

The paths were filled with chattering people; in contrast, those who came alone to submit their information, like her, were few.

Nathalie herself didn’t mind, lowered her duckbill cap to only reveal a delicate jawline, and leisurely walked towards the office with her information in hand.

The place for submitting information, referred to as the office, was actually just a temporary storage spot made up of several tables set up in front of the school’s teaching building, with a few Tsinghua teachers and students sitting by to collect the information.

There were nearly three thousand candidates participating in the independent recruitment, if not two thousand; there were so many people that the staff didn’t have time to register each one individually, usually just collecting the information directly and waiting to locate the information of those who passed the first round of the written test later.

”Just put your stuff there.”

As Nathalie walked up, she heard the person in charge of reception, who didn’t even lift their head, instructing from their seat.

”Alright.” She casually placed her information on the table, and after submitting it, she didn’t linger and turned to leave.

Although she was extremely discreet throughout, not even speaking a word, her distinguished and air of defiance was so prominent that many students noticed her and stole glances at her from time to time.

Not far away, Ghania Quinlan was meticulously dressed, wearing the designer clothes given to her by Myles Sullivan, biting her lips, and holding her own information, she looked distantly at the girl who stood out from the crowd, whispering to the man beside her, ”Zayn, isn’t that Nathalie?”

Zayn Fisher was in charge of receiving the new students and had the student council badge pinned to his collar. With his tall stature and handsome appearance, many people looked enviously in his direction.

He was busy with the reception work when he heard her, subconsciously lifting his head to ask, ”Where?”

Ghania pointed him in a direction.

Looking in the direction Ghania was pointing, he indeed saw an unruly figure with a lean and cold temperament, very much like Nathalie.

His hand holding the information paused, and an indescribable emotion flashed across his face. He restrainedly withdrew his gaze, his expression indifferent, ”Don’t know, maybe.”
