The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 389: Chapter 389: Bring You Back the First Test_1

Nathalie Quinlan experienced someone nervously encouraging her before an exam for the first time. It felt pretty good. Her eyes, extremely dark, stood in front of the car window idly slipping her hands into her pockets, her tone exceptionally light, ”Don’t worry, I’ll bring you back a first-place!”

Alfred Garland: ”???”

Nathalie Quinlan dropped that statement and without delay, tapped the car glass as a gesture to the man inside, ”I’m off.”

Amadeus Yancey’s lips lifted at the corner when he heard her bold declaration of taking first place, his eyes deep as if encompassing everything like the vast ocean, his voice low and resonant, ”Good luck.”

Nathalie had already turned around and, with cool indifference, raised her left hand to wave at them and headed towards the examination hall.

After she left, Alfred Garland smacked his lips, expressing his feelings involuntarily, ”Amadeus, Ms. Quinlan’s mention of first place, it’s not... last place, is it?”

Even the top student from the province wouldn’t dare claim they could secure the first spot here, and Ms. Quinlan, not even the top of McKinney, boldly says she’s going to achieve first place.

How should I put it? This is way too arrogant!

Amadeus Yancey ignored him, watching Nathalie’s figure enter the examination hall, then unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the car door.

”Let’s go.”

Alfred Garland hurriedly unbuckled his seatbelt, his face full of confusion as he followed out of the car, ”Where to, Amadeus?”

Amadeus Yancey today wore a camel-colored casual coat, the hem just touching the edges of his trousers, with a black sweater underneath. The sweater had fine ribbing, thin enough for autumn, and its V-neck revealed his neck, straight and long like a swan’s.

This kind of long, layered clothing style actually tests the physique of the wearer. Only those with height and long legs can pull off this majestic and stylish look.

He clearly passed the test, and the ensemble gave off the air of a male protagonist straight out of an H country idol drama.

It attracted the gaze of quite a few university girls.

Alfred Garland was not to be outdone although he was not as outstanding in height and facial features as Amadeus Yancey. Even standing alone in a crowd, he would still be considered a handsome man with distinct and lively features.

Two men, both over one meter eighty, standing together were absolutely pleasing to the eye.

Especially since the current trend among the youth was heavily into BL, the visual pull of two attractive guys standing side by side was absolutely 1+1>2.

Alfred Garland had long been accustomed to onlookers’ gazes and didn’t feel they were looking at him, assuming all eyes were on Amadeus Yancey as was usual. He caught up with Amadeus’s pace.

Jeff Quinlan watched Nathalie get off the car and enter the examination hall, then saw the two men get out of the car, his feelings indescribably complex.

He had no impression of Alfred anymore.

But the young man in the camel-colored coat, who clearly held an extraordinary status, left a deep impression on him.

Seems like his surname was Ye?

Before coming to Beijing, he hadn’t thought much of the surname Ye, considering it just another common last name.

In the days since arriving in Beijing, although they stayed in a hotel and Myles Sullivan disdained taking them out to meet anyone because it was embarrassing, Jeff Quinlan discreetly used his old connections to inquire about Beijing’s social circles.

The surname Ye.

In Beijing, there was only one.

It was a circle he could never reach in his lifetime.

Nathalie Quinlan and that young Mr. Ye seemed to have a good relationship?

And that car... Jeff Quinlan looked at the black sedan that drove sharply into Tsinghua University and could casually stop by the roadside, then glanced at the car’s emblem, his mood becoming inexplicably heavy.

Emilia Sullivan happened to nudge him with her elbow, her tone puzzled, ”I just heard you call for Nathalie. Did you see her?”

Jeff Quinlan withdrew his line of sight, his face color turning pale, lacking any strength, and shook his head, ”No.”
