Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1251: Chapter 1252: She is the instructor, she must be responsible for the new recruits!

All ten recruits were dumbfounded; this was simply asking them to crawl on the ground.

An Jing, ignoring the reactions of the ten recruits, spoke directly: ”Ye Zhi, demonstrate.”

”Yes!” Ye Zhi immediately stepped out of line and elegantly dove down in front of the barbed wire closest to her. Then, she crawled into the wire, moving quickly and precisely to the other end. As soon as she emerged from the other side, she turned around and re-entered the wire, returning the same way.

When Ye Zhi crawled out of the wire again, she stood up, saluted An Jing, and loudly reported: ”Report to the instructor, demonstration complete.”

”Return.”

”Yes.” Ye Zhi then returned to the front of the line to stand at attention.

”The way the deputy instructor did that counts as one round; I’m not sure if you all saw it clearly, but the deputy instructor hardly used her palms, she hasn’t even scraped her skin.” As she said this, An Jing looked towards Liu Feifei and asked: ”Liu Feifei, did you see clearly?”

Liu Feifei immediately replied: ”I saw clearly!”

”Then what do you plan to do?”

”Do it like the deputy instructor!”

”Very good.” An Jing was satisfied. She then looked at the other recruits and added: ”You may begin now.”

This was training, and not taking training seriously could lead to military law enforcement. Everyone obediently started crawling, and even if their postures were not perfect, they still put in effort to get through the barbed wire.

An Jing and Ye Zhi were not idle; they were guiding anyone who was not precise in their movements under the wire. They tried their best to ensure that everyone avoided injury.

When Xiao Changyi arrived, he happened to see the ten new recruits crawling through the wire. As An Jing had discussed the plan for training the new recruits with Su Chengyu yesterday and he was present, he wasn’t surprised at all.

Meng Zhuqing came with Xiao Changyi and stood just behind him. Seeing Tobanya struggling in the wire, his heart ached unbearably.

While An Jing was instructing Lie Qi, she caught a glance of Xiao Changyi from the corner of her eye, but she didn’t attend to Xiao Changyi and continued to guide Lie Qi, making sure her posture was correct as she crawled through the wire, to avoid injury to her palms.

Of course, An Jing wanted to share a smile with her dear husband to indicate that she knew he had arrived, but her current identity did not permit it. She was an instructor now, and had to be responsible for her new recruits!

Tobanya also saw Xiao Changyi, and Meng Zhuqing too. However, the usually composed and indifferent Tobanya simply pursed her lips lightly, while continuing to crawl through the wire.

She wanted to complete the task quickly, to spare her husband Meng Zhuqing the heartache of watching her struggle.

Xiao Changyi did not come closer; he was content watching from a distance.

If his lordship didn’t approach, how could Meng Zhuqing dare to come closer? He stood one step behind Xiao Changyi, watching the recruits training in the distance with him.

Of course, only they knew that Xiao Changyi was watching An Jing, while Meng Zhuqing’s eyes were actually on Tobanya.

Again, Tobanya was the first to finish.

After Tobanya completed the thirty-meter barbed wire crawl back and forth three hundred times, An Jing allowed her to rest to the side.

Meng Zhuqing felt slightly relieved only after seeing from afar that Tobanya was allowed to rest.

As soon as Tobanya sat down to rest, she glanced over at Meng Zhuqing. Then, her normally cool and calm face showed a faint smile towards Meng Zhuqing, clearly indicating to him to be at ease.

Meng Zhuqing did not say anything, nor did he smile, but he nodded slightly towards Tobanya.

Upon seeing Meng Zhuqing nod, Tobanya did not look over at him anymore but turned her attention back to the others crawling through the wire.
