Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1287: Chapter 1288 Striding Fast

”Crawl through the low hurdle net again; then, turn around past that flag over there and come back.”

”The return route is: cross the low hurdle net; climb the high wall; walk under the single-log bridge’s column; traverse the monkey bars; jump off the high platform; crawl through the short wall’s hole; jump down and climb up the trench; cross the five-step stakes, turn around the flag, and finally, run back here.”

”To emphasize, when crossing the monkey bars, we used to step on them going there, but coming back, we grab them with our hands and hang from underneath. This also tells you that when your legs are tired, you can use your hands.”

”These steps are somewhat numerous, it’s hard for you to remember just from me telling them, but after you see me and the deputy instructor run it a couple of times, you’ll know how to do everything I just mentioned.” Theory must be combined with practice.

The new recruits seem a bit confused, but the generals are all watching with gleaming eyes.

Xiao Changyi had already known beforehand, and at this moment, his expression was utterly impassive.

An Jing initially planned to have Ye Zhi demonstrate to the new recruits first, but considering that Ye Zhi had expended quite some energy lifting the Stone Lock earlier, she let Ye Zhi rest a bit and decided to demonstrate first.

”Watch carefully!” An Jing made sure the recruits were watching before she headed to the starting line to begin her run.

In modern times, An Jing had run this 400-meter obstacle course countless times, and during this period, she had also practiced a lot. To her, this 400-meter obstacle course was not unfamiliar at all.

In fact, she was very familiar with it.

An Jing ran especially fast, and each time she crossed an obstacle, her posture was exceptionally cool.

At this moment, it seemed as if a brilliant radiance was bursting forth from her, capturing everyone’s eyes as they followed her movements, and even caused them not to dare blink, fearing they would miss something.

When crossing the monkey bars, she moved swiftly, as if she was not on a ladder but on flat ground.

All her movements were completed crisply and cleanly, without any hesitation or sloppiness.

Watching her, the new recruits admired Instructor An Jing even more. This instructor didn’t just have a couple of tricks up her sleeve; she clearly had a whole array!

The generals watched her and although they knew An Jing was somewhat skilled, they didn’t expect her to be this capable. Her agile movements were simply astonishing.

Her entire performance was fluid like flowing clouds and water.

Liu Buli had crossed hands with An Jing and knew how capable she was, so he was relatively calm.

Xiao Changyi watched his wife shine like a radiant body as she navigated the obstacles, and although he appeared expressionless, his cold eyes were filled with immense pride in her.

As soon as An Jing finished, she asked the new recruits: ”Did you see it clearly?”

Tuoba Ya, Shi Shi: ”Saw it clearly!”

The other eight recruits: ”Didn’t see it clearly!”

An Jing immediately ordered: ”Tuoba Ya, step forward.”

Tuoba Ya immediately stepped forward.

”Now you try to run a round trip, just like I demonstrated.”

”Yes, Instructor.”

As Tuoba Ya responded, she walked to the starting line and then started running.

Standing behind and to the left of Xiao Changyi, Meng Zhuqing saw his wife being called out to navigate these obstacles, and his heart instantly leapt with worry, afraid that something might happen to her during the obstacles.

As Tuoba Ya was not familiar with the obstacles, her speed was not as fast as An Jing’s. However, she wasn’t slow either and managed the obstacles just as An Jing had done. When she finished the round trip, she still appeared quite relaxed.
