Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1278: Chapter 1279: This is Clearly a Feint

Seeing that the incense stick symbolizing the time limit was about to burn out, An Jing and her team prepared to launch their final attack.

”A Ya!” Li Wuyu no longer dribbled the ball herself but passed it to Du Aya.

As soon as Du Aya saw the ball flying towards her, she immediately kicked it with her foot while shouting, ”Lie Qi!”

Although she shouted that, Du Aya actually kicked the ball towards An Jing.

This was clearly a trick to mislead the opponent!

While everyone on Ye Zhi’s team paid attention to Lie Qi, the ball flew towards An Jing. It was slightly off from where An Jing stood, but she made a split-second decision to slide tackle. As her body slid on the ground, she lifted one foot and kicked the ball through the goal hoop.

The ball passed right through the goal hoop.

And at that moment, the incense stick on the stage had also completely burned out.

”Ah ah ah, we won! We won!” As soon as Li Wuyu saw they won, she excitedly hugged Du Aya, who was closest to her, hanging onto Du Aya’s sturdy body.

Then, people on An Jing’s team celebrated once more, tossing An Jing into the air several times.

Du Aya, who tossed whoever scored, was not tossed herself, and felt dissatisfied immediately: ”Why isn’t anyone tossing me?”

Lie Qi said, ”Aren’t you a bit too heavy? You saw we tried just now. It’s hard to lift you up, and if we force it, you will definitely fall and get hurt.”

With that, Du Aya stopped fussing over the matter.

Seeing Du Aya wasn’t concerned about being tossed anymore, An Jing said, ”In this match, everyone has worked hard. Although Wuyu didn’t score any goals, her performance was the best on the field, and she was mostly in control of the ball. It’s fair to say that our victory is also thanks to her. I suggest we toss her up too, what do you think?”

”Yes!” Du Aya and the others immediately excitedly surrounded Li Wuyu, and together with An Jing, they tossed Li Wuyu into the air several times.

Having lost the game, all Ye Zhi’s team could do was to accept their defeat.

Unlike their dejected mood during the match, now that it was over, they were not feeling down, accepting the outcome openly and candidly.

It was just that—

Ye Zhi walked over to Du Aya and praised her, ”Not bad, you even know how to mislead the opponent.”

Du Aya said, ”It was the instructor who taught us; I couldn’t have come up with that tactic with my brain.”

Ye Zhi looked somewhat disappointedly at An Jing, ”I thought I could beat you today, but I didn’t expect that in the last moment, you would actually score a goal. Fortunately, you only scored one; if we were to consider just you and me, I wouldn’t count it as losing to you.”

An Jing simply reminded her, ”Right now, it’s a team competition; you can’t count it as just you against me.”

She was clearly forcing her to admit defeat.

A loss was a loss.

Ye Zhi: ...Next time, I will definitely beat you!

”The lamb should already be roasting. Since our team won, tonight we get to eat roasted whole lamb, while your team gets to eat steamed buns with pickles. Also, for the next ten days, your team will wash our clothes,” An Jing added.

Ye Zhi’s team had truly lost, so regarding the punishment falling upon them, they had no complaints and all accepted it with grace.

Shi Hua suddenly said, ”Instructor, I have a suggestion.”

An Jing asked, ”What suggestion?”

”Tonight’s roasted whole lamb can be shared with the deputy instructor’s team, but then the deputy instructor’s team will have to wash our clothes for an additional five days.” That is, wash their clothes for half a month.

An Jing’s team wasn’t just Shi Hua; without agreeing immediately, she asked the other members of her team, ”What do you think?”
