Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 1266: Chapter 1267: What, are you scared of me?

Seeing An Jing and Du Aya standing opposite each other, Ye Zhi asked, ”What are you doing with Du Aya?”

An Jing replied, ”Didn’t you see Li Wuyu resting over there? She’s run out of energy. Du Aya has no sparring partner, so I had to step in.”

At the moment, Tobanya and Shi Shi were still wrestling evenly matched in the mud field, while everyone else was too exhausted and resting. Truly, it was only with An Jing stepping in that Du Aya could continue to train.

”Let me do it instead.” Ye Zhi was itching to try and extremely excited as she jumped into the field. ”Du Aya, I will make sure to tire you out on behalf of the instructor.”

Du Aya shook her head and said, ”No, no, we agreed earlier that I would be wrestling with the instructor, not you, the assistant instructor.”

Ye Zhi immediately provoked her, ”What, scared of me?”

Du Aya was instantly stirred up: ”If it’s you, it’s you! Don’t think that by saying the same things as the instructor you can scare me!”

Both Ye Zhi and An Jing were snickering inside. This sturdy girl really couldn’t stand being provoked.

Right after, An Jing moved aside, giving up the field for Ye Zhi and Du Aya to wrestle.

Ye Zhi has just taken Liu Feifei to see Gong Juechen and spent quite some time in Gong Juechen’s tent too, which counted as a rest, and she could say that ninety percent of her energy had been recovered.

Now wrestling with Du Aya, who had already expended a lot of strength, even though Du Aya was physically strong, she was still at a disadvantage.

In training, there is no such thing as fairness or unfairness. An Jing and Ye Zhi are both single-mindedly determined to train these ten recruits well, so it’s essential for An Jing and Ye Zhi to take turns training the new soldiers to conserve their energy to continue the training.

Just like now, even though An Jing and Ye Zhi did not discuss it beforehand, based on years of tacit understanding, the two still unanimously resorted to a tag-team strategy.

Before Ye Zhi could tire Du Aya out to the point of being unable to rise, Shi Shi was already thrown by Tobanya and couldn’t get up.

Then, An Jing was planning to wrestle with Tobanya.

But before An Jing could speak up, Su Chengyuan beat her to it.

Only to see Su Chengyuan stand up and step down into the field, saying, ”Instructor, I have rested enough.”

Including An Jing, everyone was stunned when they heard what Su Chengyuan said.

Because in their eyes, among them, Princess Su Chengyuan was the one who could least handle hardship. Yet now, Su Chengyuan took the initiative to enter the mud field, clearly indicating her intention to wrestle with Tobanya, who had no one to wrestle with.

An Jing was only startled for a moment before immediately recovering, saying, ”Since you are rested, then go and partner with Tobanya. She still has energy.”

”Yes,” Su Chengyuan walked straight towards Tobanya, and then they started wrestling.

Tobanya was actually running low on energy, having spent too much in wrestling with Shi Shi.

And Su Chengyuan hadn’t fully regained her strength, only a little, and given that Tobanya was a trained fighter while Su Chengyuan had no real skills, Su Chengyuan simply couldn’t match her. So even though Tobanya was getting tired, she still had the upper hand when wrestling with Su Chengyuan.

Even though she kept being thrown down by Tobanya and struggled to get up each time, Su Chengyuan persisted, looking determined to exhaust her last bit of energy.

An Jing felt very relieved seeing Su Chengyuan like this. She sincerely hoped that Su Chengyuan would stop causing her worry.

At this moment, she also understood that it must have been the words she said earlier that had an effect. Su Chengyuan had taken them to heart, resulting in such a big change.
