COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”.....” Kamuro-san felt that something was very wrong here. ’Because, why are you lecturing me all of a sudden? I just came back from a store shopping for you, Sakayanagi Arisu!’

She actually looked fine.

’Sakayanagi, what do you mean? Are there only two? Isn’t today’s trip for 4 people?’

Even as she was thinking this, Kamuro-san noticed that Sakayanagi was looking at her.

’Okay, okay, to avoid getting angry later, let’s just do this for now.....’ Kamuro-san therefore chose to remain silent.

The next bus arrived, Hikigaya and Sakayanagi got on together.

”....” Ryuen remained quiet too.

”....” No one asked Kushida-chan, how she is feeling right now.

After all, she is used to it, and in front of outsiders, Kushida-chan is like a little angel, so of course she won’t stop Hikigaya from helping Sakayanagi.

Beep!

The bus to city started to move.

Other side.

Onodera and Sudo appeared at the bus stop, girl looked around.

”Eh…Where are Sakayanagi-san and Kamuro-san?”

”Kanzaki said he will leave by taxi first because Ichinose is too excited, I mean....what did he...yeah, he wants to monitor Ichinose. Remember, how she was fooling around yesterday. I mean I get it I am too.”

”Oh..maybe it’s because this is her first time coming here. So, no wonder...she is jumping around here and there. Someone probably gotta look after her. But what about Sakayanagi-san. She can’t run away, rig----Aahh. I don’t mean it’s because of her leg-----”

”Haha....”

”Sudo-kun! I am serious. Please don’t tell her that or I will be in trouble.”

”Yeah, yeah...Damn, your punch had quite strength. Anyway, lemme check in group.....”

”Is that bad? Ah, a private message from an unknown number...open it.”

[Sakayanagi-san is not in good health, please take care of her]

by Ichinose.

”But...But, Sakayanagi-san and Kamuro-san are nowhere to be found! What do we do now?”

There is no mandatory requirement for all actions during today’s city tour.

So, Hiyori and Ibuki went skiing, and it seems that she and Horikita agreed to have a competition this morning.

Hiyori went along as well, as she was worried about Ibuki being alone.

They will visit city according to their schedule in the afternoon.

Ichinose and Kanzaki went to city to check out the local spots first.

So, current team is Sakayanagi, Kamuro-san, Onodera and Sudou.

Eh....No wonder our President doesn’t want to hang out with such people.

Now she and Sudo are the only ones left at the bus stop. Where are Sakayanagi and Kamuro-san?

Didi!

Onodera realized that she had received the message.

”What’s wrong? Did you find someone?” Sudo saw Onodera looking at her cell phone.

But he found that she quickly put it into her pocket.

???

Sudo made a little strange face.

”...Well, Sakayanagi-san and others said they saw bus coming so they left first, leaving us to do things on our own. There’s still no one to supervise us today, so we can even go to ski resort together if we don’t want to go to the city.”

”What the hell?!” Sudo was shocked. This was different from what was agreed.

Especially since Sudo had consulted Hikigaya for relationship counseling before. ’Because if this happens, wouldn’t I suddenly have to spend time with Onodera?’

But she was a little nervous too

’Because this was an assist from Sakayanagi-san. I thought she was quite cold before. But it turns out she is a good person.....Do I really want to fall in love during school trip? Will other girls like Sudo-kun? It seems not.’

”…” Onodera has never seen any pretty girl in class have any feelings for Sudo.

Kushida-chan smiled at everyone but didn’t favor anyone.

Horikita-san... well, Horikita-san was no longer in class.

She had gone to Hikigaya’s class. She probably wanted to continue dating.

Even Onodera can feel Horikita’s obsession with love...now that girls like her thought about it carefully, it doesn’t seem like she did anything wrong.

It’s about love!

Some boys were bitter about it, but girls shut down their hardware forcibly using Power Off.

As for Karuizawa, Sato, Matsushita and others...it seemed that she had never seen them talk to Sudo at all.

Mii-chan likes Hirata.

”.....” From this perspective, even though Sudo was very physically fit, he scored points for the class.

However, he was not liked by girls.

Onodera didn’t know what to say for a moment.

It seems that impression of Sudo, who is a good person, has also decreased.

After all...from this perspective, she seems to have no competitors, and if other girls don’t like him, although she feels safe, but...there may be something wrong with her.

”.....” Onodera was doubting life.

On the bus.

Because station near the hotel is an overground, most students have empty seats after getting on.

”I miss it a little bit.” Sitting in one of the window seats, ”We used to take bus to school like this too. Remember, when we came to Advanced Nurturing High School, well... I didn’t get seat...hehe~”

”Yes.” Someone responded to her immediately.

”I remember there was an old man who didn’t have a seat at that time, and Ichinose helped him.”

This is Watanabe from Class B.

However, he and Kushida-chan were not in same seat...obviously, ”Eh...you guys are having elderly trouble with seats too.”

In fact, as a student in this school for one and a half years, she has also grown.

Kushida-chan also learned some ways of thinking. ’Our High School was last stop of the bus. Logically, it was like a school vehicle to that area. But there were a dozen people from society and frail people like old ladies on it. Where were they going? Could it be...school was testing us at that time?’

It was when Koenji was put on her blacklist.

She was helping the old lady find a seat, and then Koenji not only refused to give up his seat to her, but also started to lecture Kushida-chan.

How abominable!

What he said was that we shouldn’t give up our seats just because he was young and strong.

Even now, although Kushida-chan still cannot fully agree with Koenji’s original idea, she has grown and will no longer completely deny his viewpoint.

’Because....why do I give you my benefit to others? You should have come here first. It’s not my problem. Mmph!’ Kushida-chan was now just forcing herself to think about random stuff and not look forward.

There were three people sitting in seat in front of her, one boy and two girls.

The boy leaned against the window with his left hand against it and his chin pressed against it, as if he had fallen asleep, and his right hand was resting on his knee.

”Crunch....Mhmm. Salt ones are better. I don’t like caramel or butter. Now, I am pretty sure....”

On the boy’s right is a cute girl with straight silver hair who is eating her chips, and then there is a girl with long purple hair who looks like someone owes her money.

They are Hikigaya Hachiman, Sakayanagi Arisu, and Kamuro Masumi.

The three of them got on bus and found seats.

It was in front of Kushida, she could clearly notice that silver-haired girl sitting in middle was a little indecent.

Kushida used the word ”indecent” because it can be seen that although silver-haired girl was sitting upright, girl seemed to be careless, sometimes she looked like she was lifting the hair that had fallen over her ears, and sometimes she looked like she was looking for something in her left pocket.

Overall, these are cover-ups.

With these movements, Sakayanagi Arisu’s fingers and the back of her hand seemed to accidentally touch Hikigaya’s other hand which was placed on his knee.

That is to say.

This girl, Arisu Sakayanagi, actually got herself stuck in hand holding, knee touching position!

Oh shit.

’Sakayanagi-san, could you please stand up a little instead of munching on yellow chips? Your actions are very low-class and will only make me Kushida-chan mad. Hikigaya-kun, could you please not sleep?’

O O !

Kushida-chan was noticing.

’Didn’t you want to sleep because you were chatting yesterday? Why are you so excited in the morning? Don’t you know that other girls have touched your hands several times intentionally or pretending to be careless?’

The journey in the car was neither fast nor slow.

The group took bus for 27 minutes and finally started to get off.

”Hikigaya...look, it’s my last time. If don’t. I will spill it...I am telling you, I will definite----”

When Hachiman woke up, he found that only Watanabe was by his side, holding a black coloured steel water bottle over his face.

”...what are you doing?”

Since city is the last stop, Hikigaya-kun can sleep peacefully.

Or rather. He didn’t get enough sleep last night because of conversation with them.

”I don’t know....I just ended up like this. Others have already gotten off the bus. Kito saw a clothing store and went in like a mad person. It seemed that Ryuen’s coat was too thin, so he led his team in as well....”

The others had already gotten off the bus, but Watanabe was still waiting for him.

As expected of a student from Ichinose’s class.

Hachiman’s affection for the girl has increased. +1
