COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Meanwhile, after separating from Hikigaya, Suzune went to Kushida’s old place - Railing-chan.

???

Although there were many people coming and going there, it was still a remote place, so Horikita chose it as the meeting place.

Although it is normal for students to look for teachers, she was only here for Chabashira Sensei to do a legitimate job.

However, there are some things that you still don’t want others to hear.

Mhmm~ what could it be?

Moreover, there are some things that she needs to learn from Chabashira-sensei, who has been through it all.

So, with this in mind, Horikita went to railing, but Chabashira had already arrived.

”My feelings are a little complicated.” Putting hands on the railing, Sae could feel breeze blowing towards her, and then turned her head, ”I didn’t expect that you would take the initiative to ask me out.”

”So who do you think will ask you out, teacher?”

”Forehead--” Chabashira really wants to give Horikita a thumbs up now, because she is still so ”good at talking.”

They almost ended the conversation.

”...You did very well in this sports festival. Although your class is still at the bottom, it will get worse if you do nothing.”

But this means that Chabashira has actually accepted her fate and accepted the possibility that Class D’s evaluation score will continue to drop.

”Then, you mean to say that you want to use class transfer coupon.”

It should be said that Chabashira is worthy of being a student of this school. She immediately recognized Horikita’s thoughts.

In theory, transfer certificate has restrictions and can only be used for one semester.

After you get it, you will start using it in next semester.

That’s supposed to be the case.

It seems that Horikita wants to go directly to new class next month.

”Yes. I got transfer ticket in hope of going to Hikigaya-kun’s class. It has a time limit and is normally valid until next semester. Of course, I personally hope to get it as soon as possible.”

’Is that so? That means you have no attachment to your current class anymore.’ Chabashira found herself having to see her students off to other classes twice in a row, ”Is this something you have decided?”

2 million points and a transfer voucher, for ordinary students, points are definitely more cost-effective, but with transfer voucher, one can go to other classes, and Horikita’s goal is to go to Hikigaya Hachiman.

Chabashira also believed that experience she could gain from the opponent was far more valuable than 2 million points.

So, this is a reasonable solution.

”It’s just that.” Horikita seemed a little hesitant, ”I’m not sure if this is right. So, I need guidance.”

Oh? Chabashira blinked softly, then looked over.

”Because this is what my brother said at the beginning. During last year’s sports festival, Hikigaya-kun said that he would leave class because he had been aiming for A since he entered school, and that goal had been reached, so he chose to leave. He felt that Class D was not what he wanted....That is to say, it was a foregone conclusion that Hikigaya-kun would skip classes, so I asked my brother at that time how to adapt to the class without him.”

”And? His response I mean.”

”My brother’s words at the time were to follow in each other’s footsteps.”

In other words, she was now going to follow Hikigaya-kun, walk the path she had walked, and go to his side, hoping to continue to gain experience she had gained from him.

But now Horikita seems a little confused.

Because this is just the advice of her brother Horikita Manabu.

In fact, there is nothing wrong with this advice.

A person who can lead Class D to Class A will not lose out whether she understands other party’s thinking mode or learns some techniques.

Chabashira felt that Horikita was somewhat like herself, except for the other person’s way of dealing with people, of course.

It seemed like they almost ran out of topics to talk about just now.

As for this, she could actually give Horikita a solution.

”That means you are still following the path others have planned for you. But this is not necessarily wrong. Because ask yourself, is the direction you can choose now the one you want?”

”Yes, I want to become stronger.” Horikita said, and as she said this, she found that Chabashira-sensei put her hands on her shoulders.

”Then just follow your heart. As we grow up, we are faced with many choices, but even in society, we have very few opportunities to follow our own hearts. So follow your heart.”

Horikita was somewhat surprised, even a little astonished, because she didn’t expect that Chabashira-sensei would have such a gentle and supportive side.

In other words, this is Chabashira-sensei’s original appearance after she was completely freed from her past obsessions.

”Right...I understand.” Suzune actually knew that when she came to consult Chabashira, she already had the answer in her heart.

She can no longer grow in Class D.

If she wants to, can only go to a place that has the ability to improve her.

”.....” Chabashira noticed the changes in Horikita’s expression.

That’s good.

Although Horikita-san keeps talking about growth, this is an emotion that Horikita Suzune herself has not yet discovered, and it would be a pity to miss it like this.

That’s good.

Chabashira felt that she couldn’t let her imagination run wild.

This is her last term as a teacher, so she must take good care of and protect the children, and this is what she can do.

September 1st.

For all students, these are days of month that require special attention.

Because this school prepares for special exams every month, on 1st, school distributes living expenses based on evaluation scores of each class, and on 2nd, it announces special exam this month.

As for Hikigaya, he also likes No. 1.

Because in addition to small amount of points that school transfers in every month, he also has extra income.

First of all, there is income of 1.2 million personal points per month, which is worth 300 points from A.

Then there is income of 98 points of personal points obtained from Ichinose’s class.

Of course, this income has to be divided among Horikita, Kushida and Karuizawa, but it doesn’t matter.

What he really likes is the points of Ryuen’s class.

As long as evaluation score exceeds 500 points, he can take away 70% of the share above 500 points.

The current class evaluation score is 1625 points.

Then you can get 1125X38X100X0.7=4.275 million.

It’s a pleasing number.

The atmosphere in Ryuen’s class today was a little bit stunned.

Because every student who came to the class noticed that there was an extra desk.

Then there was a new student sitting on desk, calmly and ignoring everyone, holding a textbook and doing her homework.

This girl is quite beautiful, with smooth black long hair like a waterfall, delicate and clear fox eyes.

Fair and snowy skin.

”Is there a transfer student in our class?” Such thoughts quickly filled minds of Class C.

”Stupid, everyone is from the first grade.”

”But... now there are other students joining class which means...”

”Oye, is this your first day? Don’t you know who she is?”

”Ahem!” The bespectacled head teacher who arrived at classroom very early and stood at podium reminded them.

”Although class meeting hasn’t started yet, I’ll still tell you about it.”

”This student, Horikita Suzune, will join our class starting today for a period of six months.”

”She was the student who won first place in female sports festival that just ended. She received a transfer certificate and came to our class.”

”Everyone applaud and welcome.”

In fact, it’s not that Sakagami is so kind and lovely, but that he is proud.

Because these are people who just received transfer tickets and directly chose to come to their class.

This is an affirmation of class he teaches, not to mention that Horikita Suzune is also pillar of Chabashira’s class.

So this is equivalent to pillar of Chabashira’s class running away.

Ran to his class.

Sakagami instantly felt radiant.

”Horikita-san——” Of course, students in the class also knew Horikita Suzune.

”Horikita!”

Ibuki walked directly to her side excitedly.

”.....” Horikita glanced at her for a second and then continued reading.

This makes people feel a little embarrassed, but as long as Ibuki doesn’t feel embarrassed, no one will laugh at her.

”Hey, Ryuen-san...” Although Ryuen had already arrived at classroom at this time, his henchman Ishizaki Daichi had an idea.

”Can you give up seat?”

Make room.

Ryuen was sitting in the middle of the classroom, next to Hikigaya on his left.

The person sitting to the right of Hikigaya is of course, Hiyori.

This is for the convenience of discussing things.

”Huh?” Ryuen found it incredible.

Because Ishizaki is asking Ryuen to give up his seat to Horikita Suzune?

What a joke.

After all, Ryuen is the representative of this class, so how could he give up his seat to a mere Horikita Suzune?

So, Ryuen walked over to the girl named Takagi who was sitting in the seat in front of Hikigaya, and asked her to switch seats with Horikita.

”hehe~~~” Hiyori let out a muffled chuckle watching it.
