COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

After Hirata’s mother stepped in to calm atmosphere in the class, students around her began to participate in project in an orderly manner according to Horikita’s initial request.

Or say....

In fact, several students did not participate in fifth project because they were watching the show or because of noise just now.

This resulted in a -2 point deduction for each student in class.

So, basic score is 5 points.

If you didn’t get a ranking in project, then you got 4 points.

But now it’s -2.

”No wonder they are from Class D.”

???

”Shut you hole! What do you mean Class D?!”

Damn it, Hirata-kun went to mediate.

So, you only contributed 7 points to the class.

Horikita Suzune continued to go to playground. She won first place three times, but in fourth project that ended earlier, she met Kinoshita.

So....just 2nd place...Right.

We won’t mention it again.

She is going to compete in fifth event, shot put.

In this, everyone stands in same position and starts throwing shot toward the grass.

However, because it is very heavy, you need to do some training in advance, and you need to pay attention to posture of holding ball and the action of throwing.

Horikita’s strength is not low among ordinary girls. In addition, she has many years of experience in martial arts, so she should have no problem throwing the shot put.

Moreover, not many students participate in this kind of project, which may cause back injuries.

”Horikita, if your goal is to get the first place in the girls’ scoring ranking, then I want to duel with you next!” When Suzune was checking the contestants’ information, Ibuki with short blue hair came over.

Issued a declaration of war.

”…...” Suzune. ’I’m afraid there’s something wrong with this girl.’

Although Horikita and Ibuki didn’t interact much, she could still sense that Ibuki seemed to be competitive with her.

’Or is it that Ibuki-san’s goal is actually to get the highest score and get reward of a transfer certificate?’

”Do you want to go to Ichinose-san’s class?”

”Yeah, atmosphere of that class seems good, and I feel like I can learn something by going there.”

’Is that so? Then your brain is indeed stuck in a donkey’s mouth, because Ichinose-san’s class is indeed desirable. It is the only class among the four classes that does not exclude people.....There won’t be any messy problems when you go there. But Ibuki-san. If you do, have you forgotten what happened to you and Ichinose-san’s class? In last year’s uninhabited island exam, you and Kaneda-kun were placed in my and Ichinose-san’s class respectively as spies. So, you are toxic people to her, so how can they welcome you so happily?’

Even though Suzune felt this girl was an idiot, she decided to be mature and gave her a few more insults to get this person in line.

???

’Although everyone in that class is a kind type, in the last special exam, everyone agreed, and they dropped a girl out of school just to get a good score.....So now, they will just treat you as someone who is scheduled to drop out.’ But Suzune thought about it and realized that Hikigaya-kun also needed a search tool to be promoted in the past... No, it was to search for his companions.

’So, if I have someone to help me, I might be more successful. After the mandatory events are over, if you want to get points, you have to participate in events 6 to 10. Kushida-san’s stamina is limited, and so am I, so if I can get additional reinforcements, then my chances of winning will be higher. Ibuki-san’s IQ is not high, but her physical fitness is very good....Hmmm.’

So, there was no need for Horikita to conflict with Ibuki now. After all, she might need her cooperation in the future.

Consider this.

”Whatever you want. I don’t think you can be my opponent.”

She is indeed Horikita Suzune, only her few words can cause people’s brain to explode.

”💢” Ibuki-san was very angry, ”Now, you have done it Horikita. What are you going to sign up for in sixth and seventh items?”

”Singles badminton, Singles table tennis, and Women’s doubles tennis.”

”Sure!” Ibuki wrote it down, then took out her tablet and signed up for everything.

Then she ran away quickly.

Horikita-san continued to participate in the project honestly.

”Horikita Suzune, shot put result: 18.7 meters.”

After Horikita’s result came out, she waited for a while, and then breathed a sigh of relief after the last contestant in this group threw her shot.

Got first place.

In this way, her results for five compulsory items were also released.

Basic 5 points + 5 points bonus + first place 5X4 + second place 1 time 4 points = 34 points.

This result is already very good.

She checked rankings of the second grade girls.

No.1 Masumi Kamuro, Second grade class A, 35 points

No.2: Kinoshita, Class C, Grade 2 (I didn’t bother to look up her name because she’s a stranger) 35 points.

No.3 Horikita Suzune, Class D, Grade 2, 34 points.

No.4 Onodera, Class D, Grade 2, 30 points

Some random....

No.7 Grade 2, Class C, Ibuki Mio 27 points

xxxxxx

No.43 Sakura Airi, Class D, Grade 2, 15 points.

No. O ! O

At the end, Sakayanagi Arisu just played Glow Hockey in her tablet, scored 0 points (already gave up).

”• ^ •” by Horikita. ’So what does Ibuki-san think? Isn’t it completely impossible for her to get first place among girls now?’

[I can help you, but you don’t have to be so rigid.] Hikigaya-kun once said.

That said, Suzune still needs to be flexible.

She opened the tablet. Since five mandatory items were completed, she could now freely choose to fill in sixth, seventh and eighth items.

”You are applying for the sixth event - single table tennis. One point will be deducted. Do you agree?”

Yes!

Horikita chooses.

”You are applying for the seventh event - Single badminton competition. Do you agree to deduct 1 point?”

The results of her sixth and seventh project applications were completely opposite to what she told Ibuki.

After the lunch break, Ibuki excitedly rushed to sixth event she was participating in - Single Badminton.

”The registration deadline has ended, and Singles badminton competition will now proceed.”

”Players who fail to meet the deadline will be deemed to have forfeited.” The referee has begun to announce.

???

Ibuki-san looked around, but didn’t see Horikita Suzune with her straight black hair at all.

She had no choice but to call other party.

”Horikita Suzune, where are you? I’m already playing Singles badminton, but you’re not here at all!”

”You’re not giving up just because you’re scared, are you? I don’t believe that.” Ibuki’s voice sounded displeased.

”I changed my event temporarily. I’m preparing to participate in Table Tennis now. So, Ibuki-san, let’s meet in the eighth event.”

”Mother-----Why did you suddenly change?”

”Of course I had something urgent to do.” Horikita was very calm over the phone, as if she had done nothing wrong at all.

In fact, she was right, didn’t tell Ibuki exact order.

”But that doesn’t mean we won’t meet each other later. If you team up with me for 8th event, then I will tell you 9th and 10th events, and sign up in front of you, and I won’t change it.”

”...You think I really want to compete cooperate with you.” Ibuki seemed very unhappy.

”Then you don’t agree to this condition?”

”Since you, Horikita, have taken the initiative to challenge me, just acc----”

Horikita hung up the phone. Then she looked at Kushida-chan who came to visit.

”Someone will help me in 8th event. You should take a rest first. Save your energy. You will be needed in 9th and 10th events. I may not have enough energy by then.”

In this way, Horikita-san briefly gained a useful tool man.

”You...You are a bitch.”

This made Kushida-chan couldn’t help but look at her several times.
