COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Then, in cultural festival, Yukinoshita assigned him a task to perform in stage play of The Little Prince.

If he wants his novels back, it was very cruel.

She also blackmailed Amasawa.

While waiting for performance of his own project at cultural festival, Hikigaya noticed that although Ishigami had honestly accepted the task of acting, he subconsciously looked in one direction about a dozen times when he was on stage.

Hikigaya-kun also looked in that direction, because that was direction where Ayanokoji, Yagami, and several adults from White Room were sitting together.

Therefore, Hikigaya-kun thought that other party might also be a white-collar student arranged by Mr. Ayanokoji.

’It doesn’t seem to be case. After all, world is not that small....right?’

At this moment.

Infirmary.

”•....•” Ayanokoji Kiyotaka.

Ayanokoji lay quietly on the bed. His left foot was not actually sprained.

As White Room’s greatest masterpiece, when he released a part of his true strength, body was able to adapt to the situation immediately.

Or rather.

In fact, during training in White Room, he did not give his full effort, but was only slightly better than second place.

Although he wanted to fully unleash his strength, in the end, Koenji was unable to let him show it to fullest.

He suddenly noticed a figure passing by door of the health room.

But this person did not push open the door of health room and walk in, but threw in a note.

Then other party left quickly.

Ayanokoji stared at the note left by other party.

He knew it was a note for him.

[You belong to that man, so you should go back to him instead of doing nothing here.]

”….”

Ayanokoji knew it.

Tsukishiro left, and Yagami left too, but that man definitely still has tentacles in this school.

Because of this, he was unable to fully unleash his strength.

As long as he knows his true limits, the man will only desire him more and will never let him go.

These are the problems if the person who got born in this world is too strong for people to comprehend.

His only remaining year and a half of freedom will also be taken away.

Thinking of this, Ayanokoji put his hands behind his head and decided to take a deep sleep.

He decided to end today’s sports festival like this.

Other side.

Hikigaya-kun came to audience seats.

Last year, he also came here during the final moments of grade-wide sports festival.

’When I arrived at the auditorium, I didn’t see that super cute girl with short silver hair who had difficulty moving.....’

He thought that other party’s presence at tennis court was a hint to him that she would also appear in audience, but it turned out that his guess was wrong.

Sakayanagi is not here.

While thinking this, Hikigaya suddenly noticed there was a girl with straight black hair sitting alone.

Then, other person was wearing over-the-knee socks.

Hikigaya-kun then walked towards the girl who was sitting alone and wearing black over-the-knee socks.

”Can I sit here?”

”O ? O” Girl.

Seeing that other party didn’t seem to respond, Hikigaya asked again.

”O___O” Girl.

She turned around at this time, ”Seats are all owned by school. If there is an empty seat, you can sit down as a student of this school.”

That means she doesn’t mind someone sitting here.

Even so, at this point in time, occupancy rate of the auditorium had reached 90%, and under such circumstances, area around this girl still seemed very empty.

In other words, there will still be people who deliberately avoid you and let you have this place all to yourself.

Hikigaya-kun said in his mind.

But Hachiman also knew that Yukinoshita was extremely beautiful and had the temperament of a beautiful lady from a world too far away from normal folks.

Coupled with her outstanding performance in cultural festival, she was surrounded by a glow that made people feel they could only watch her from afar.

It’s just that Yukinoshita’s calm attitude makes us wonder what her high school life was like before she entered this school.

Because Yukinoshita’s sister gives people the feeling that her sister has no hope if she continues like this and must make changes.

”Boom.”

So, Hikigaya-kun sat down. ’Looking outside, I saw that 3rd graders’ horse-riding fighting competition was currently going on. They were all boys I didn’t know.....’

So, after setting his sights on 3rd-year boy, Hikigaya-kun thought it would be better to strike up a conversation with Yukinoshita next to him.

After all, she is his secretary, right?

Although Yukinoshita is very cold, she can teach him how to cook.

At the same time, her sister is a money-giving girl. If you don’t look at other things, you have to look at 20 million cash that Yukinoshita Haruno gave him.

So, Hikigaya-kun, who feels that he still has a bit of conscience, opened his mouth, ”Speaking of which. You only ranked 43rd. But score was worth 30 points. That means you only participated in 5 mandatory events and won first place in all of them.”

Yukino seemed a little surprised, ”You actually went out of your way to check my grades....”

Of course Hachiman couldn’t tell you, because your sister gave him 20 million, so it’s only right and proper for him to pay more attention to you.

This is working.

But this kind of thing is not glorious, so Hachiman wants to avoid this topic.

Then, he remembered that before sports festival started, Yukinoshita waved to him.

In other words, other party identified him as a friend.

As for friends, although Hikigaya-kun also desires them, Yukinoshita should be the same.

Maybe she doesn’t fully understand what friends are.

”That’s basic concern as a friend. Besides, it’s only because you came to watch my game that I thought of looking at your results.” Hikigaya-kun said this and touched his head.

”I see.” Yukino stroked her chin and said as if making a judgment, ”Speaking of the game, your magic ball refers to your junior high school years, when you were always alone and even somewhat isolated. It’s a bit surprising that you are so dazzling in this school, but you have such a past.”

”…..”

Hachiman now actually feels that it’s not just Horikita Suzune who needs to be more tactful.

This Yukinoshita seems to have skills in all aspects that can surpass Horikita-san, but she is still far from enough in terms of how to deal with people.

Specifically with insults... Hachiman doesn’t know who is more superior or in other meaning...worse for the time being.

He believes these two although should be getting along well with each other....but there’s also a very high risk of chickens flying mid-air.

Her elder sister, Haruno, is very good and has even reached the max level in handling interpersonal relationships, which results in little angel Kushida-chan in his family only being able to carry Haruno’s shoes.

’So, although they look alike, two sisters are so different in their ability to deal with people that it almost makes me doubt their sisterly relationship....Of course, there is another reason, that is, Yukinoshita Haruno protects her sister very well. That’s why Yukino Yukinoshita is like this, not exposed to darkness of society at all. She does what she thinks is right.....Yukinoshita still can’t understand it well enough. This world is neither right nor gentle.’

Even though he was facing Haruno’s younger sister, Hikigaya-kun was thinking about 4 people at same time, and comparing.

”I don’t want to talk about junior high school, just like everyone has a past that they don’t want to look back on. I believe more and want to look forward....Now in this school, I chose to adapt to rules here, and then try my best to gain points. It will eventually be converted into cash, so I can live a good life.”

”This is a very realistic idea and approach,” Yukino commented, but why is her reaction so plain?

But recognize this point.

Her goals and ideals are bigger.

This time her elder sister came to the school, and although she ridiculed her as usual, Yukino was determined to submit a questionnaire that even her elder sister could not find fault with.

This questionnaire.

Yukino thought she could start with the boy in front of her.

Because other party was a man who broke school’s record and brought Class D to A, and even went to class of worthless senior Ryuen, and then brought his class up again, like a man sent from heaven.

Yukino felt that she could learn something from other person.

’Hikigaya-senpai just said that he basically pays attention to me as a friend. In other words, this was not just my idea, but he also regarded me as a friend. This is a two-way rush. Otherwise it would be...very embarrassing. After all, if you have unauthorized expectations and treat others as your friends without, it would be shameful and tragic if such things were done wrong and exposed. Wait a momen----!’ Yukino suddenly noticed one thing, that is, Hikigaya-senpai seemed to have accepted her as a friend.

But did other party really recognize her?

”That...” Yukino’s face turned slightly pale, ”Hikigaya-senpai, before you entered this school, you actually had a car accident - and that incident ---”

”Your sister told me about that. It’s in the past. But if you’re still looking back, I’m disappointed. Because if you do that, you won’t be able to respond to your sister’s expectations.”

”.....” This made Yukino shut up.
