COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”First, everyone get in car. We were originally going to arrange for you to act in groups according to team list you received yesterday.”

”But, before that, there will be specific itinerary arrangements.”

So, students in Class A of Grade 2 all got on bus obediently.

xxxxxx

Hikigaya-kun and others also boarded. There are 45 empty seats on the bus.

So everyone, including teachers, can sit down.

Now, they came to Ryuen’s class.

Although Hikigaya-kun sat in the first row and homeroom teacher also had a seat, at this time, he didn’t want Sakagami to stand up beside him to inform him.

After all, this is Sakagami-sensei, not like Chabashira-sensei, who would put her hands on the armrests of his seat, making people want to hold hands.

”Here’s the itinerary. Pass it on.”

Today, Mr. Sakagami was still dressed in a suit and tie. He first distributed the materials printed with formation arrangements.

School trip schedule

Day 1

Depart from school -> Haneda Airport -> New Chitose Airport -> Arrive at ski resort, lecture -> Go to hotel

Day 2

Free activities throughout the day

Day 3

Sightseeing spots in center of Sapporo -> Back to the hotel

Day 4

Full day free time (conditions apply)

Day 5

Back to school in afternoon

The second day is a full day, and fourth is conditional but you can also move freely.

It seems to be a relatively free arrangement, with 2 full days of enjoy.

”I think.....I think..we are being cheated.”

”Yes, nothing good ever happened to us here. School must me plotting something....”

”It must be trap. I don’t believe you, what is on 4th day? Conditions...”

”Sakagami-sensei...look he even has a black suitcase. I wonder what he is hiding. Could it be a dea----”

This free activity is indeed a trap.

That is, there is a condition noted for free activities on fourth day.

”Ahem..Please rest assured.” Mr. Sakagami probably noticed that some students had doubts on their faces, or, as teacher of this class, he would tell everyone everything as long as they did not violate too many rules.

So just say it directly.

”Don’t worry, there will be no points for class confrontation this time. Even full-day event on 4th day only involved a few personal points.”

”So if you want to have fun during this school trip, you can have as much as you want. Instead of having a worried mi----”

”Tsk——” The girl with straight black hair and red eyes sitting next to Hikigaya-kun seemed a little stunned.

”You’ll get used to it.” Hachiman whispered to her, ”Each class has a different style of homeroom teacher.”

”You two. Stop whispering over there.”

”O ! O ×” Horikita Suzune was just reprimanded for small talk during class lecture, couldn’t believe it.

She glared at Hachiman for the next second in response to talking to her.

”...”

Is that so?

But Hachiman also has some concerns.

After itinerary was distributed, he too noticed that Mr. Sakagami was carrying a suitcase.

You know, when getting in the car, everyone puts large bags like suitcases in trunk.

Mr. Sakagami’s box should also be placed inside.

But he didn’t, and took it with him.

Keep it by your side now.

Hikigaya-kun is very familiar with this type of suitcase, because every time he goes to the chairman to exchange money, if he has too much, other party will give him a suitcase, and it is same model as that one.

So, what Mr. Sakagami is carrying now is money.

”It contains 5 million in cash. All meals and lodging are included, but we will prepare 20,000 yen in cash per person for transportation.”

”If you want to buy local specialties as gifts, then please pay points to exchange for cash. Loss is 20%.”

”The limit for each person is 100,000.”

”I repeat. The exchange loss for portion exceeding 100,000 is 30%.”

”...what a bastard. They want to loot us.”

Sakagami-sensei always carry cash with him.

Logically, school pays 20,000 in cash to each person, so maximum loss is 800,000.

The teacher only brought 5 million, and upper limit for each student is 100,000.

Then other people are allowed to exchange more. Is that possible?

Of course you can.

Because to buy local specialties and make purchases, students have to use their points to redeem cash.

In other words, It’s your own money.

So there are definitely students who cannot use 100,000 yen, or who don’t have the money.

So it is enough to prepare 5 million for a class.

The students sat in their seats obediently, and then Mr. Sakagami counted money and distributed a minimum of 20,000 yen for transportation expenses to each person.

”I always feel something is wrong. Did you see him counting bundles? I never even saw that much amount...”

”Sen--Sensei, we aren’t going to be raided by police for laundering, are we? I feel scar----”

Although most of the students only exchanged an additional 40,000 to 50,000 yen in cash, there were still a few students who hesitated.

After all, only have 50,000 yen for living expenses, which was just issued this month.

If you spend it all on traveling, it would be very difficult to endure the holidays even if you spend them in dormitory.

The interest is still very high.

”You are so spineless.” Ryuen said at this time had enough of people’s whispering about how they are scared, ”You performed well in sports festival, so when you return, everyone can get 20,000 points. I’ll pay for it myself. See you next semester!”

”Hell yeah! Ryuen-san!”

”I always knew he was a good guy.”

In this sports festival, Class C did not have any points deducted and was awarded 100 points. For Ryuen, his income also increased.

So atmosphere in class became more lively.

”...Is that how it works here?”

There is another person who couldn’t believe her eyes, because contrast is just too much from her previous class.

Those students who are reluctant to spend money can choose to exchange cash and have fun because Ryuen pays their living expenses.

”I was so surprised, this is pretty normal!”

”It’s better than a normal school trip! Long live freedom!”

Because current arrangement seems to be more generous than other schools’ school trips, students are more excited than usual.

xxxxx

The same thing is being done in other classes.

Exchange for cash.

According to notice, after bus arrives at plane, it will act according to the team’s arrangements.

In other words, we will act as a team from now on.

So it’s same when taking a plane.

Then it is definitely best to exchange money you want to spend now.

”Are you sure you want to exchange 100,000?”

Here in Class 2A.

Mashima-sensei asked, as most of the students in his class exchanged 100,000.

”Yes, Sakayanagi will pay for me.” Kamuro-san said using her straight face but it looked more smug.

Actually, this is a good thing.

”... Shouldn’t you be asking me first, Kamuro-san?”

”What? Can’t you even afford this much?”

”• 💢 O” Sakayanagi’s little cherry popped on her forehead, ”We will take the full amount. Thank you.”

Because what is exchanged now is money.

If the money is not spent on school trip, then it belongs to you. Of course, you can also choose to exchange it for points from school and spend it there.

Points can be exchanged for cash, which is only allowed by the school when you graduate.

So, now is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity

Cash is a better way to talk than points.

After all, but in everyone’s past lives, money was more direct.

Therefore, it is more convenient whether it is espionage or bribing people.

Therefore, most of students in Class A chose to get 100,000 yen in cash first.

In fact, Hashimoto was also hesitating whether he could exchange more.

Last year, when spy sold information about leader of uninhabited island exam to Katsuragi, he received 1 million personal points.

In fact, Ryuen had already given him these points.

Currently stored in a points card.

But once he did something like this, he was a little worried about being tracked down.

After all... if people knew that Hashimoto had done such a thing, then if there was still a choice of dropping out of class next time, he would become extremely dangerous.

After all, this money is like a hot potato. Should he deal with it?

Also, if you go on a school trip, as long as you can get in touch with outside world, you should be allowed to send money home.

In this way, evidence of betrayal is destroyed and money goes into one’s own pocket.

It seems to be ok.

Even bald-headed Katsuragi Kohei, who was sitting in back seat, was also thinking.

Because according to teacher, this school trip allows points to be exchanged for cash, and even surplus but ratio will be increased accordingly, which means there will be a handling fee.

’When you graduate...I heard from seniors that fee was 20%, and now exchange rate is 30%. It costs 10% more, but it is very attractive that you can redeem it in advance.....’

Especially Katsuragi. He and his sister were only ones left at home, and he had lost contact with outside world after coming to this school.

He also wanted to send some living expenses.

However, he himself does not have much money now, as he has not yet paid off the fees for buying himself a ticket to avoid being expelled from school in last year’s class vote.

Until now, he still owes Ryuen more than one million.

However, points Yahiko accumulated before he dropped out of school are with him, and hopes to exchange them for cash when he graduates.

Otherwise it will be wasted.

’So, should I exchange it now? But there is a loss....’

Even rich 3rd generation wealthy thigh huggers were thinking seriously about how much cash they should exchange.
