COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

It was 3rd day.

In morning, just had breakfast together in the hotel.

All students set out, and were given a booklet with a route to avoid getting lost.

There were eight or nine attractions, some of which some were free and others required an entrance fee.

There is no means of arranging transportation.

This is also purpose of transportation fee that everyone receives from class teacher.

Sure enough, money is meant to be spent.

Of course, you can choose to save money and not go. But if you come to Hokkaido for a school trip and don’t do anything, wouldn’t it be a waste?

”Ahem... I... I want to go, but I’m sorry.” Yukimura’s cold hasn’t healed yet, so he has to be absent.

So, Hikigaya and his group of 15 people who stayed in that hotel set out together.

The reason why it is 15 people is because there are 7 people in his group, plus 8 people Ryuen’s, which makes exactly 15 people.

The school provides 20,000 yen per person for transportation. You can choose between trains and buses.

The train has a large capacity and is a more popular option.

Of course, since nearest is a bus station, many people choose to take the bus.

”It seems we are not the only ones who used this, Can only wait for the next one....” Ryuen muttered under his breath on the stop.

Hachiman looked over and noticed that members of the first group were also waiting for bus.

As one stopped in front of first group of students.

Some people got off, and a cute silver-haired girl holding a cane stood quietly by the side waiting for people on bus to get off.

But there were a lot of people around who wanted to get on.

Pushed her aside directly.

”Sure enough, my health affects travelling with crowd....” Sakayanagi thought to herself. She did not argue with others and took initiative to walk aside.

But now it’s not as easy as walking on flat ground, this is snow.

So no surprises there.

”Hey, hey wait...for me!”

Thud! Pus----

Sakayanagi was unlucky enough to be pushed aside, and then she lost her footing and was about to fall to ground.

Since it’s snowy, it shouldn’t hurt if you fall.

’But she actually left me here like this. I have to complain to Kamuro-san when I get back....’

Sakayanagi was already prepared to punish her puppy for not protecting its master.

However, expected feeling of falling to the ground did not occur. Instead, she felt as if someone caught her from behind.

Then place her gently on the ground.

Huh? Sakayanagi blinked softly, what’s going on?

”It’s strange. I don’t feel repulsive. Am I dreaming? Maybe I am still in bed....”

She was caught from behind and gently placed on the ground like a small girl.

Her cane didn’t fall, but considering how unstable her balance was.

So person who had been supporting her just now held her left hand that was not holding the cane and pulled her forward slightly.

He didn’t just pull her up directly, but took her frail body into consideration, so he pulled her up little by little.

”...That’s very considerate, Hikigaya-kun.”

”I swear....you have eyes behind you head.”

”Fufu...I don’t know...I just felt it’s you? Isn’t it strange?”

”I met Ryuen’s group and was waiting for a bus on side of the road. I just happened to notice your situation.” Hikigaya-kun said honestly, ”It’s just a coincidence.”

In fact, when he was staring at Sakayanagi, immediately felt that she might fall down, and that’s exactly what happened.

”Hmm.... Really?”

”Fine, it was just a prediction that I made which came true after I saw you.”

”.....” Sakayanagi felt it would have been quite better if she didn’t ask more information earlier, ”It’s better if you stop talking regarding my clumsiness.”

She made a cute frown.

Since it is a free activity, you can participate with other groups.

Sakayanagi was forbidden from going to the ski resort, she could only go to the safer city.

Of course, since there is no one checking, you can even stay in a hotel, just like Yukimura did.

But for Sakayanagi, it would be like riding a bus or plane for nothing, and not seeing anything or even having any memories of the trip, so she would definitely be dissatisfied.

It was natural for her to go out today.

”Are you the only one who came out? Kamuro-san is not here?”

He didn’t see Ichinose either.

”Except for students in CD class who went to ski resort, Ichinose-san and Kanzaki-kun chose to visit according to itinerary like me. They have already boarded previous bus to the city. They seem to be having trouble with tomorrow’s and think it’s best to follow the schedule today.”

If that’s the case, Ichinose and others must have had a hard time as well.

But what about Kamuro-san?

xxxxx

Actually according to itinerary.

It’s now 3rd day.

Today you will visit sightseeing spots in the center of Sapporo.

However, although 4th day is also a full day of free activities, itinerary is marked with conditions, which means that although it does not involve the evaluation score, it should be related to personal points.

In other words, even though they were on a school trip, other classes were also seriously preparing for special exams.

Looking at it this way, Hikigaya-kun found himself being a little too idle.

”Then Kamuro-san isn’t here?”

Because according to this statement, Sakayanagi was placed here by someone.

”She went back to get me gloves.” Sakayanagi said calmly, not even feeling slightest shame about deciding to punish Kamuro-san earlier.

...Oh. Gloves.

Only then did Hachiman notice that Sakayanagi was in the no-glove state.

Her hands are small and soft.

’Although I felt that her little hand was not cold when I held it, her frail body needed to be kept warm...’

After confirming that Sakayanagi could stand on her own, Hachiman withdrew his hand.

”Here....” At this time, a girl with purple hair and wearing a beige coat ran over.

This is Kamuro Masumi.

She was wearing her casual clothes.

However, Kamuro-san’s coat is the same as the one Sakayanagi is wearing right now.

They must have bought it together.

It seems that relationship between the two is still good.

Otherwise, Sakayanagi wouldn’t be wearing the same clothes as puppy.

Kamuro-san handed the gloves honestly with a blank face.

”You’re really slow. As you can see, there are only two of us now. Although what happened was just an accident, if it wasn’t you, I would probably be troubled too.”

This refers to the fact that she almost fell just now.

She was very weak and fell down with just a push. It’s inconvenient to travel by bus alone.

Now that Kamuro-san is here, given how well ahe cares for others, girl should be able to take care of her.

”That’s no problem. She is just a little annoyed by people who don’t leave for work on time and then rush like a mad person.” Hikigaya-kun still has some gentlemanly qualities.

”....what the hell?” Kamuro-san couldn’t help but let out a confused tone in her voice.

In other words, Sakayanagi is small and weak, and it would be dangerous to leave her alone like this.

It would be good to have one more person to protect her.

....Huh?

Kamuro-san, however, seemed a little dazed as she listened to preaching.
