COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

On one hand, people are waiting for the announcement of test results, and on the other hand, it is also based on experience of the past year or so...

Every time a large collective exam is about to end, someone will come to check the hygiene situation.

So you have to clean up the trash. It would be a waste of time if you get deducted points for it.

Especially now when everyone is short of numbers.

”That means we are the last one!”

”Another 200 points will be deducted!”

”It’s horrible....how am I going to buy manhwas next month? They are expensive, okay!”

”Why are you at the bottom again? Is that still a question? Man, those guys are really defects....”

”Gehh, who said that?!”

”At this rate, I’ll only have 50,000 yen for living expenses next month!”

There was immediate hesitation and even noise among the students.

Because at beginning of month, everyone still had more than 100,000 in living expenses.

But after Cultural and Sports Festival, 50,000 in living expenses were gone.

That’s equivalent to losing 500 points in just one month!

500 points a month!

This is scary, isn’t it? Does it mean that remaining 500 points for next month will also be deducted?

But don’t do this kind of thing!

Don’t want to accept it at all.

”But didn’t Horikita-san make a solemn promise?” Someone noticed this and immediately wanted to find a solution.

In this class competition, Class D scored the least, but Horikita-san, Sudo-kun, and Onodera-san all ranked high in their individual scores.

So they can get point rewards.

The first place winner can get 2 million or a transfer ticket, second place winner can get 1 million, and third place winner can get a 500,000 point reward!

Among them, Sudo and Onodera did not sign contract with everyone.

There is nothing to say.

The agreement that Horikita signed with everyone stated that if she failed exam this time and even come in last place, she would have to pay 2 million personal points as compensation for failure of command.

”I am confident.” Horikita was super confident when she was asked by some people who interviewed her about her ranking.

??? Click! Click!

Even photos were taken by paparazzi!

As for getting first place award for individual scoring, she has already made her choice and was just sending a message to Chabashira-sensei.

She gave up 2 million personal points and chose the class transfer voucher.

Then people have to ask her for help.

”Huh? What are you on about? I signed an agreement with everyone. But unfortunately, I don’t need to hand over my 2 million points.”

”W-why?”

”Yyyy--ou won’t compensate us?”

The classmates have already learned their evaluation score has been deducted by another 200 points, so their living expenses will be reduced by another 20,000 yen.

If Horikita took out 2 million and divided it among 37 people, so each person could get more than 50,000, so it could at least make up for loss of 3 months.

But now, Horikita-san is not admitting her mistake?

”Because of content of the agreement I signed with everyone is that I will be commander this time. Students in class will follow the strategy I arranged. However, some of you did not, so I naturally do not need to pay you 2 million points.”

In other words, does that mean someone violated agreement and gave up their rights indiscriminately?

”But in Ayanokoji-kun’s case, there’s nothing we can do about it.” At this time, Kushida-chan suddenly said to save her face.

Ayanokoji-kun’s situation.

Everyone remembered it.

Ayanokoji is considered as a secret weapon to fight against Koenji Rokusuke.

Hikigaya used it last year with great effect. This year, it was also used by Horikita, with great effect as well, directly defeating Koenji.

But what a pity.

Because after he finished 1000 meters, he sprained his ankle and had to go to the infirmary.

So, had to give up registering and participating in subsequent projects.

”Ayanokoji-kun has a physical problem, I don’t think they can be compared....” Yukimura wanted to refute at least.

Because he also felt that current situation was very bad.

The class was deducted another 200 points.

Even he found this result difficult to accept.

Moreover, as a top student in class and someone who hopes to move up, he feels very regretful.

If Horikita-san hadn’t shown up this time, class might have been in even worse shape.

But now, if a class fails, commander has to be responsible, which is not good at all.

Because if this continues, no one will be held responsible.

Now Horikita has won first place.

If she is really going to Class A as President Arisu Sakayanagi said, although it is only for one semester, and then she will come back, but she will go to another class.

So who among remaining students in the class can take lead?

If it was a special exam in past, you could rely on Hikigaya, who could coordinate and come up with suggestions.

But he has already left.

Headed to Ryuen’s class.

In this sports festival, Ryuen’s class was different from past. They did not target Sudo, which means they did not use any underhanded methods.

In the end, still got second place.

Therefore, it might not be such a bad thing that Hikigaya-kun went to unpopular Ryuuen class in first place.

If Horikita-san also leaves, then person who might be able to talk to in class is Hirata-kun... or Yukimura.

So, if he contributes to class, does he have to take responsibility? He can’t take this at all.

After all, special exams are bound to have give and take, advantages and disadvantages.

Therefore, Yukimura felt that he couldn’t talk about this matter here.

”As for agreement that Horikita signed with us, I felt it should not have been signed in first place. Because this is for everyone’s benefit and everyone in class hopes that we will not lose points. So, Horikita shouldn’t be responsible for it. This needs to establish as a common sense to work hard to get benefits, and not forcibly done by a deal. Well, forget about it...we already violated rules.”

”You are lying, Yukimura.”

”Right, I worked very hard. Look, I have sweat all over my body.”

”That’s right, I am wet!”

”What about those of us who are not physically fit? We didn’t even take part in five basic mandatory events.”

”…..”

Ah this!

When students heard Yukimura mention this, their expressions changed.

Because everyone suddenly remembered that when Horikita-san completed fourth compulsory project and returned to base camp, super cute silver-haired girl Sakayanagi from Class A came over.

Then Ryuen also...

...Ike and his friends were too concerned about the gossip about Horikita-san and...didn’t participate in their mandatory activities.

These...are violations of the agreement rules? Not following Horikita-san’s request.

This, this kind of thing...

Will there be liquidation?

”According to rules of this sports festival. If you fail to participate in any of the five mandatory events, you will be deducted two points. So everyone failed to guarantee 10 points for class. I don’t actually want to make this matter so extreme. But because of this situation, I don’t think we are qualified to ask Horikita for 2 million poin-----”

”Damn you, I will kill you. Stop blaming our Goddess!”

???

”Eh...who are you? Why don’t you touch some gra----”

Bam!

”Talk like that asshole. I am gonna put you 3 feet under.”

Some people were even fighting.

Yukimura was confronted by Horikita during special exam last month where everyone agreed.

But he didn’t get into it.

’Now I am still discussing the matter at hand, and I hope this class can still move forward, but when I was helping Horikita speak, I suddenly realized that... even though they have signed agreement, there are still so many people... who treat sports festival events as a joke. In other words...class is actually difficult to command. So, after Horikita leaves, can I or Hirata, who are left, really make others completely obedient? I find it very...very difficult.’ For a moment, Yukimura felt that he had inherited a bad pot.

”I think everyone has heard what Yukimura-kun said.” In fact, Hirata is the only one who can stand up now.

”So, I don’t recommend collecting the 2 million points that Horikita-san proposed. Or is it that?” Hirata paused for a few seconds and then added, ”Students who did not follow the agreement will bear consequences of taking last place in this exam?”

Ah, it would be bad to bear consequences of failing exam.

Hirata-kun, you are evil.

Someone immediately looked at Hirata’s mother in a bad way.

In fact, even Azuma also understand solution that Hirata is going to solve now, without specifically pointing out who did not complete the mandatory project.

So...if passerbys can understand.

It means...only bots and stupid people are complaining.

Because that would destroy enthusiasm and cohesion of class.

So, this is the last fig leaf.

Besides, since Horikita won first place, she will definitely leave class...

They will have to deal with next situation and special exam on their own.

Those who made mistakes and those who did not and saw the painstaking efforts of Mother Hirata remained silent.

”Everything is written in black and white.” However, Karuizawa-san also stood up at this time, ”Horikita-san shouldn’t pay for some people this time....Because, in last three hours, why did our class’s score continue to drop?”

”Eh?” Kushida-chan looked over in surprise, ”Karuizawa-san, can you see the class scores?”

The scores of all classes will be announced only in last half hour before end of sports festival.

”Actually, I passed by Class A’s camp. Then I saw Katsuragi-kun recording scores of the four classes every 10 minutes. They arranged for someone to keep eyes. I saw changes made. Our scores could actually went down....But logically speaking, there were only a few people in our class still fighting at that time, so why did score drop? Someone is deliberately causing our class to lose points. That must be it.”

”Eh... They actually said it was intentional. This kind of thing... my classmates wouldn’t do it.” However, at this time, Ike Kanji felt that he could no longer remain silent.

Because if he doesn’t say anything, he will be the one to take blame.

In fact, he felt very regretful in his heart.

He shouldn’t have gone to Hirata for help before sports festival started, because Hirata’s advice to him at that time was to show his strength, contribute to class, and let everyone see that it was meaningful to keep him.

Now, dirty pot is thrown back at him?
