COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Yamamura and I got 6 points.”

Twenty minutes later, Kamuro-san returned to the base camp and spoke to Katsuragi who was in charge of recording.

”...Did Class B get 10 points?” In order to reduce the workload of classmates, Katsuragi did not ask those students to pay attention to situation of own students all the time.

Once you get points, you can go back to the base camp and report.

So, Kamuro-san is now just following the procedure.

”No, Class B only got 2 points.” However, Kamuro-san wanted to keep this little bit of her face.

”Not bad then. Two of the girls sent by Class B this time are from tennis club, so you did well to win.”

Now only one who can threaten Class A is Class B, so people must be suppressed.

”The ones...the ones..w-who who got 10 points are combination of H-Horikita-san and Ibuki-san.”

’Damn it, Yamamura!’ Kamuro-san wanted to flick her forehead.

Huh?

Even Katsuragi-kun was stunned for a moment.

”Could it be that Class C and D have joined forces—” During this sports festival, there was no sign that Ryuen would do anything.

So it’s a little disturbing. But if Class C and D don’t do something now, they will be at the bottom.

Therefore, it is possible these two classes choose to join forces with each other.

”It shouldn’t be a joint action of Class C and D.” But Kamuro-san shook her head directly, ”I asked, and it seems that it was only Horikita Suzune and Ibuki who worked together.”

”Horikita Suzune....you mean, eh...no way, are you talking abo----” Katsuragi opened OAA system on the tablet just to make sure he was hearing right.

Although scores of a class were not made public, individual students were still ranked.

He checked the rankings of second grade girls.

No.1 Class C, Grade 2, Kinoshita 47 points

No.2 Grade 2 Class A Kamuro Masumi 45 points

No.3 Horikita Suzune, Grade 2, Class D 44 points

No.4 Onodera, Grade 2, Class D, 42 points

No.18....Ibuki Mio 33 points

No.36 Sakura Airi, 19 points

”There is no need to check for the last one....” Katsuragi closed it with a sigh.

Horikita Suzune has already reached 3rd place, even surpassing Kamuro-san from their Class A.

It is indeed very exciting.

Katsuragi also heard that Sakayanagi went to Class D before, and it seemed that she had specifically mentioned Horikita Suzune in order to get first place in total score of second-year girls and then get transfer ticket.

For students in Class A, transfer paper with highest individual score is simply useless.

Moreover, it is real-name-based and cannot be transferred, so it is not as good as 2 million points.

However, for lower-ranked classes, especially Class D, transfer certificates are very valuable.

So, target is Class A.

Even if it’s only half a year, they could be classmates.

Then it was indeed very appropriate for Sakayanagi to go to Class D and call Horikita’s name.

Therefore, if it was confirmed that Horikita could win, Katsuragi felt that he would welcome the other party.

This effort, hard work, and determination to come to Class A are eye-catching.

”By the way, where is Koenji?” Kamuro-san who actually cared about class points turned around but did not see the man with golden hair.

”It’s a pity. He stopped his actions after participating in sixth and seventh items. It seems that confrontation with Ayanokoji Kiyotaka this morning left him emotionally wounded....”

This is very regrettable very regrettable for hard working Katsuragi and Kamuro-san.

A monster finally came to class.

You can increase the score in one go.

But what the hell is Class D?

There is actually someone who can defeat Koenji.

It can be said that not only Koenji, but also Katsuragi was shocked after learning the news.

It just reminded him of last year, when Ayanokoji Kiyotaka was treated as a secret weapon by Hikigaya, and then Hikigaya went to Ryuen’s class, but he didn’t take Ayanokoji with him.

But it’s not a big problem now.

Because of the news, Ayanokoji was injured and gave up next game.

This means that Class D can no longer continue to exert its strength.

Otherwise it’s really scary.

”But we still have to thank him for his efforts. From now on we have to rely on ourselves. Kamuro-san, are you ready to take a rest? Or are you going to leave soon? You are participating in the 8th event now, but there are 2 more games.”

”Take a break.” Actually, Kamuro-san was a little dissatisfied. So, just sat on the bench and drank water.

”You look very angry.”

She just sat down.

But, a silver-haired girl who had been sitting there quietly playing with her phone suddenly spoke to her.

”I don’t. Why don’t you play games and not disturb me?”

”Really? But I received a report that you were badly beaten by Horikita-san and Ibuki-san. They were specifically beating you up.”

”....” Kamuro-san felt that she really couldn’t like Sakayanagi.

Because this girl is so annoying. It’s not relevant to bring up this issue.

During the tennis match, rumors were spread about Horikita and Ibuki, and then they joined forces to attack.

It’s really... so annoying!

”But if this continues, it seems that Horikita Suzune will win. Do you think she is really going to come to our class?”

”That point.” Sakayanagi thought for a rare moment, ”Maybe she was provoked. During cultural festival, her brother, who was a former student council member, also came.”

”So this is former student council president’s job? Then, Horikita is really obedient.”

This is understandable, since brother is the best student council president in history, and it would be a joke if sister graduated from Class D.

”I think you are also very obedient, Kamuro-san.” Sakayanagi praised out of nowhere, just like complementing a girl being cute.

”How is that possible? I was just forced and oppressed!” Kamuro-san immediately denied harshly.

Other side.

”Let’s take a break first.” Horikita and others have returned to Class D.

Because they are in different classes, Ibuki was sent back. She planned to take a break and participate in a new project before going to find Ibuki.

Currently, Horikita has participated in 8 projects, and each person can participate in 10 projects.

”Kinoshita-san is very strong. I don’t think you can beat her.” Kushida-chan brought her some water.

???

Her full name is Minori Kinoshita, and she currently holds top spot in the girls’ scoring list.

Scores are also abnormal.

Got 47 points.

what does that mean?

This means that after paying threshold fee for sixth event, she won first place three more times.

Very difficult.

For Horikita, Kinoshita is a person she has a very deep memory of, because in last year’s sports for the entire grade, Ryuen used her to threaten Horikita and deliberately hurt Kinoshita.

”Don’t worry about her at all. Let’s wait for other classes’ projects to progress as much as possible, and then we’ll go out.”

In other words, after participating in all this, Horikita-san was also tired.

Moreover, there are enemies both in front and behind, so you have to take it seriously. You must get a 5-point reward for the next two events.

Kushida-chan’s face remained sympathetic but she was laughing outrageously inside.

Really difficult to keep a straight face.

Afternoon game continued soon.

However, because it is a freely chosen program, many classes now have empty seats.

If you participate in an event other than five mandatory events, regardless of whether you can win a prize, first thing that will be taken away is your 1-point entry fee.

The more events you participate in, fees will be taken away.

It would be too much if you still haven’t gotten a ranking and then class deducted points.

These are the basic arrangements.

For Class A, students in their class have very good panel hardware at first glance.

However, considering that admission fee would be lost if they did not get a ranking, in the end only about 18 people out of a class of 40 could get the points.

Now, most of seeded players have reached eighth and ninth items, with only 1-2 items left.

The maximum number of events a person can participate in is 10, but unfortunately, a person does not have the physical strength to participate in so many events consecutively.

After all, not everyone is Koenji Rokusuke.

So when the first seeded player in the class was exhausted, Katsuragi chose to let him rest to see if enough rest could support an event.

If you can still try, then continue to participate in the project. If not, then regretfully you can only stop here.

Otherwise, if you sign up and then cannot keep up due to lack of physical fitness, then registration fee will be wasted.

The students in Class A began to estimate their physical conditions and then chose to participate.

Another hour passed.

Even Kamuro-san had participated in 10th event, ”We won first place in the women’s javelin competition and got 5 points.”

”Thank you for your hard work. Our class can all breathe a sigh of relief.”

Because people in the class have already calculated current scores.

Grade 2

Class A: 644 points

Class B 609 points

Class C 512 points

Class D, 488 points

”That’s a reasonable conclusi-----”

”What are you talking about? Please don’t try to comfort these people, Katsuragi-kun.”

But at this time, Sakayanagi suddenly said, putting her mobile down.
