COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Amasawa is here to cause trouble.

”We are considering forming a team to participate in volleyball event.” Horikita said immediately when she saw Ichika coming over.

She knew that Ichika is in good physical condition, ”So do you want to join the team?”

”I want to participate.”

”That’s great, Amasawa.” Kushida-senpai pretended to be cute and happy.

But her current cuteness is fake. She doesn’t like Amasawa and even thinks girl is a troublemaker.

”No, No. I want to fight against the seniors.”

”.....” Suzune.

”.....” Kushida-chan.

The two were speechless.

So, Kushida-chan brought a dumbfounded Sakura over.

Horikita Suzune brought over Morishita Ai from Class A, Grade 2, who had once been unhappy with her by borrowing the playground.

It just so happened they formed a group of six.

”After confirming information, identities of both players have been confirmed to be correct.”

Horikita, Sakura, Kushida-chan, Matsushita, Ai Morishita, and Ibuki-san were assigned to

White Room.

???

Opponents were assigned to Red team.

According to rules, game starts with a serve, and the server hits the ball over net to opponent’s court.

The game continues from then on until ball lands, goes out of bounds, or a team cannot legally hit it back to the opponent’s court.

That is, a team scores a point by hitting ball over the net and making it land on the ground in opponent’s court.

However, when a team finds volleyball coming to their area, members of the team can hit the ball three times (excluding blocking touches) to hit it back to opponent’s court.

At the same time, game adopts a best-of-three format.

If a team wins 1 goal in a game, it gets 1 goal.

However, team that needs to get 25 goals and be 2 rounds ahead of opponent at same time is considered to have won.

This means that if you want to win two out of 3 games, you have to score 50 goals at best.

So this is a competition that tests agility, physical fitness and coordination.

Horikita and others are on White Room, and there are a few familiar faces among members currently serving on Red Team.

Two of them are third-year students with a very low presence, and remaining four are first-year students.

In addition to junior Amasawa, who turned around and joined opposing side of Horikita and the others after being invited, she also got junior Nanase to come.

Then, Isshiki Iroha and Tsubaki Sakurako from current first-year Class B came uninvited.

”I never expected to compete with my seniors in this situation.”

The person who took initiative to talk now was the golden-haired junior Nanase who seemed polite and had a strong sense of justice.

Nanase is a student in Class D, but now they are basically playthings of Amasawa, so it is normal for her to be called over.

”Well, well, well - this is also an opportunity to get close to seniors, right? I feel pretty lucky.” However, a cute little devil-type girl with short brown hair also joined the topic.

This is a colorful feather.

Isshiki had a cute smile on her face and told lies.

She actually joined after she found out that Horikita Suzune was going to sign up for this project.

The entire grade took this sports festival seriously.

After all, only top two students would get extra points, and if class score fell below the bottom two, would be deducted.

With increase in points and decrease, the gap between classes has definitely been narrowed.

The gap in class scores between first-year students is not that big now, so ranking pattern may change again in this sports festival.

Although Utomiya and his classmates wanted to stand firm, they found that as a lower-ranked class, there was still a gap between them and original upper-ranked class.

Especially after knowing that Class 1-A had teamed up with D, so he also chose to cooperate with class of Yagami, who had dropped out due to various scandals.

But they were backstabbed by Yagami’s class halfway through, so now both classes are at bottom.

If don’t do something, then sports festival will be nothing but a loser.

However, after some calculations by Tsubaki Sakurako, she found that although the class could not be saved in this sports festival, there were still things that could be done.

Tsubaki had previously considered letting Isshiki contact Hikigaya-senpai. ’I realized that if I could get through Hikigaya-senpai’s connections, then maybe I wouldn’t have to pay 1 million points to join student council.....’

But unfortunately, this path could not be continued.

After returning from uninhabited island, Isshiki was unable to meet Hikigaya-senpai.

But that doesn’t mean road is completely blocked.

That is, she can still try to save her boat in a roundabout way. ’After asking the seniors, I learned that last year, Horikita-senpai and Hikigaya-senpai had a very good relationship, and there were often rumors that they were dating. Although I feel like shouldn’t Hikigaya-senpai be with President? But since other party has chosen Horikita-senpai, then I will respect his choice....’

So, Tsubaki Sakurako suggested that they take route that Horikita Suzune was taking.

It’s not easy to get in touch with this seemingly meticulous and solitary senior, Horikita.

Moreover, it’s difficult to gain her favor through ordinary actions.

So, when Tsubaki Sakurako checked scores of second-year girls, she found that Horikita-senpai was ranked very high.

Then maybe there’s a chance that a girl will score first and she’ll feel like she can play.

So, they saw Horikita Suzune signed up for volleyball game, and they also participated.

Well, since you want to win Horikita Suzune’s favor, shouldn’t you stand on her side and help her?

It looks like that.

However, in this world, it is often difficult for you to assist other party, but it is easy to become their opponent and then choose to give up.

Neither Tsubaki Sakurako nor Isshiki were people with particularly good physical fitness.

So, they chose to stand against Horikita-senpai.

That’s their plan.

In other words, Isshiki and others came here to do favors.

”Is it a matter of luck to fight with seniors?” However, Amasawa suddenly spoke to Isshiki at this time, and then looked over with clear eyes.

Meow!

Isshiki suddenly felt like she was being caught by the tail.

During exam on uninhabited island, she teamed up with Amasawa and got help from each other, but also learned that other party’s physical strength was comparable to monsters.

Then, Isshiki also knew strength of her physical strength.

Therefore, if she takes her time, lets things slide, or lets things get ugly, Amasawa will definitely know.

Ichika helped her get into the top ten in score of uninhabited island, but now Isshiki wants to embarrass her here.

Will Isshiki let her down again when she teams up with Amasawa?

”Damn it....” Isshiki suffered the gnawing of her conscience.

Although Tsubaki Sakurako seems a bit difficult to deal with, Amasawa gives her an even more incredible feeling.

It feels like.... something bad will happen, if you don’t follow her.

After all, she is a genius, has max physical fitness, and is in charge of Class A and D.

”Um...” Isshiki instantly understood who she should bow to.

”Although, I don’t need help. But you should know what to do, right? Isshiki-chan....hehe~”

Woo! Too scary!

So, Isshiki didn’t even have the right to choose.

Life is not easy, everyone sighs.

Original plan of standing against Horikita-senpai, and having her and Tsubaki Sakurako hold back the Red Team, was aborted like this?

So, Isshiki subconsciously looked in the direction of Tsubaki.

But Tsubaki looked like she hadn’t woken up yet and was staring blankly at the ground.

In other words, still wants to hide behind the scenes and not show up.

So now let’s listen to what Amasawa says.

Isshiki Iroha then became more determined to fight.

xxxxxx

A battle between 1st-year, 2nd-year, and 3rd-year girls now begins.

”By the way, 3rd-year seniors, are you from Class A?” Amasawa was at back of the team and took initiative to start a conversation with rest of team.

”Ah... um.” This senior girl was originally quite arrogant, but she found out that person who spoke to her was a first-year student, and the one who entered student council without spending any money.

So, her expression changed immediately.

”Then let’s work together in this volleyball game. We all want to get some points for our class.”

”Yes, I will try my best.” The senior student nodded and clenched her fist, as if she was trying hard.

Not only her, but also another girl who is a 3rd-year student with her is also from Class A of 3rd grade.

However, these two people are not outstanding in OAA data, and even their physical fitness is average, or only C level.

In the end, they both came to participate in project together.

”.....” Amasawa judged there seemed to be some problems in Class 3-A.

However, although Ichika was collecting information quickly, this was not what she wanted to collect, because when game was about to start, the referee suggested that everyone put aside tablets and mobile phones they carried with them so as not to affect their speed of action.

At that time, she checked location of Hikigaya-senpai.

As a result, she discovered by chance that Asahina-senpai from Class 3-A seems to be in same position as Hikigaya-senpai.

In other words, Class 3-A got into trouble, and then Asahina-senpai went to find Hikigaya-senpai.

Amasawa originally thought that Hikigaya-senpai only participated in a few events and might be alone during this sports festival, so she could look for him after finishing her events, and spend time together.

But now it seems that she doesn’t need to worry about other party’s sports festival life at all, it is very fulfilling.

O ! O Amasawa’s face turned scary.
