COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

O ! O Amasawa’s face turned scary.

”Shit....”

”W-what’s wrong with this junior?”

”Then let’s begin!”

”I’ll serve, Horikita!”

”Watch the game!”

As a member of White Team, Ibuki was kidnapped by Horikita Suzune, but she couldn’t deny other party’s words. If she won, it would also bring points to the class.

So there is no way to quit now.

Then have no choice but to win this game!

Bah! Bah! Splash~?

”The white team scored first goal!” the referee’s voice sounded.

”...The hell? Oye, play seriously!” Ibuki herself was a little surprised, because these first and third graders were not good at all.

The first ball was not defended!

But it will be very quick.

”Return visit!”

”Horikita, jump higher! Why don’t you jump higher!?”

”I caught it!”

”No, send it back---you idiot!”

The competition became more intense, and even Ibuki made the same mistake that Horikita once made, forcing others to do things that they could not do.

But Horikita has already solved this problem.

So when she couldn’t receive the call, she chose to change people, and Kushida-chan noticed this and pushed Matsushita out.

”hehe~~Matsushita-san, I’m counting on you to score this goal. Can you jump higher?”

Although Horikita and her friends formed a temporary team, they worked well together.

”5000, 5000 anyone....I am raising it now? Is the----”

”6000 for Kushida-chan!~ Woooho--”

”Hey, that’s my guy!”

On Red Team, among first-year students, apart from Sakurako Tsubaki who was slacking off, Nanase was not. Although she respected the seniors, she was also working hard.

Several balls were saved in a row.

”Push! Push! Throw it away----someone....Uwahhh!”

Bam!

Amasawa’s performance was relatively outstanding, but that was just her normal.

Although returned balls were difficult to catch, Horikita and others coordinated well, so they were able to block most of the balls.

The two third-year seniors in Class A can only stand on margins due to their lack of strength, but they also take it seriously.

”Ah....is it going to hit me? Should I move a little?”

”Tsubaki-san! I will help~~!”

Run! Run!

”Ooosshhh!”

Bang! Bang!

”Fuuuuu! Score for Red Team!”

”That girl....what you are doing? Go support your classmates? Are you stupid or wh----”

”Asshole, I am a 3rd year. How dare you?~~!”

???

In this way, more than twenty minutes passed.

But game has already reached the second round.

Horikita and her team won the first game, but they were beaten badly in second.

They had used up a lot of their energy in first game. For example, although Sakura’s physical fitness had improved, it was still too stressful for her to carry the ball and bounce it.

Haha~~

So after one round, Horikita and others quickly became out of breath, but when it came to second round, they found that situation became even more difficult.

Because main force of the Red Team is still Amasawa Ichika.

She is too much. She always hits the ball to a position where people need to run and try hard to save it.

”No...No, Ibuki--Ibuki-san, a little right. Yes, hit it! Ahhh? Yay!”

Sakura Airi.

”Oh no, really? Sakura-senpai is too strong. She can always tell where I want to hit. That’s not fair at all!” Amasawa pouted, but she didn’t felt down at all.

So it becomes more strenuous.

That’s not all.

Even Ibuki was about to fall down from exhaustion, but the expression of junior girl Amasawa opposite her seemed to remain unchanged.

Where on earth did this physical monster come from?

”It seems that Horikita-senpai can only stop here. What a letdown it is....” Amasawa Ichika now came to the net and became the server.

Tsk!

O O 💢 Horikita Suzune.

That’s right, she spoke directly to Horikita who was not far away and was very tired but was trying her best to deal with her and was alert to her.

”If you keep going like this, you won’t be able to get first place transfer ticket. No wonder you are not even in student council.....”

Now, second innings has reached the point where White team has 16 balls and Red team has 18 balls.

Goals, you mean right?

The first person to score 25 wins.

Therefore, if Amasawa and others win this round, Horikita will need to expend more physical strength and energy.

Not only that, if she loses here, Horikita won’t get any points for 9th event this time.

You have to pay 1 point to register, and then if you lose you only get 1 point, which just offsets difference.

So her score is still 49.

But unfortunately.

No.1 Onodera, Class D, Grade 2, 50 points (participated in 10 events)

No.2: Minori Kinoshita, Class C, Grade 2, 49 points (already participated in 9 events)

No.3 Masumi Kamuro, Class A, Grade 2, 49 points (participated in 10 events)

No.4 Horikita Suzune, Class D, Grade 2, 44 points (participated in 8 events)

”….”

Kinoshita has one event to compete, so a chance to score, while Onodera already scored 50 points.

Horikita could not score any points in this volleyball match, and even if she won first place in tenth event, would only get 48 points in end.

Therefore, what Amasawa said was enough to shake people.

”You, are you trying to wear down our morale?” Ibuki’s down to fight this game to the end, and felt more determined to run this junior’s face in ground for some reason.

”Rather, you’ve been serving and defending entire time, so you’re the one who’s been most tired. So you’re just forcing yourself to stay like this.” Kushida-chan gave a sweet smile, it makes people feel something is very wrong.

”Fine. Hold on a little longer, battle will be over if we win this round!”

Suzune had enough fooling around to save energy for last, it’s now or never. Otherwise she feels girl will lose something here.....

”That’s right, I am going to make you eat dirt, Kouhai! Haha” Even though Ibuki was a fool, it was undeniable that she now seemed reliable.

”...Ah...why me?” Matsushita was gasping for breath.

As for Morishita-san.

”You...you over there, can you stop playing bets on us? If not, then you have to share points with u----”

”Mori...Morishita-san, please stop fighting. Pay attentio!!---”

”But...Sakura Airi, these peop----Oh....Oh, I will send it back!”

Jump! Bam!

Morishita was dragged here by Horikita Suzune.

Although in current team, if she drags down and causes Horikita and the others to lose, it will reduce chances of Class D getting 20 points, after all, they have 4 contestants.

Class D couldn’t make it up now, A’s top spot was no longer so stable, so Morishita came here to win.

In this way, morale of White Team was boosted again.

”Red team gets 1 point.”

”Red team gets 1 point.”

”Red team gets 1 point.”

”Our goal. Let me announce, it’s 17:2----Isshiki-san, stop fishing over there and help us a little.”

”Eh...what do you mean?! I am, unlike you Tsubaki-san!”

Swish! Swish!

”Yoshu! Hurrayy! Goal Goal! See---”

”Foul-Foul---she cheated I saw it!”

”Come again? How can I cheat here?” Isshiki almost spat blood in audience’s direction with a sour face.

”White Team V Red Team: 17:2----”

”Red team gets 1 point!”

O ! O

Amasawa, what a terrible monster.

Facing her was like facing an impenetrable wall.

Before, they only saw how powerful boys were, but they couldn’t experience horror of a monster like Koenji personally.

But now, girls in Class D of second grade have experienced the horror of Amasawa Ichika.

Experiencing a strong sense of inferiority.

If Horikita’s goal is to get first-place transfer certificate, then she must win this game.

So, can girl win it?

”In fact, Horikita-senpai has invested a lot in this sports festival.” Amasawa continued to serve the ball without changing her expression.

”Ta-Target, Kushida-san...pls hurry!”

The ball was received by Kushida-chan instantly after receiving news a little earlier to compensate for fast speed and thrown up, while Morishita tried hard to hit it.

”Matsuhita Chiaki, I will leave this one for you to score a goal for us.”

???

”My foot...How come...Right, move hurry! Aahhh!”

Bam! Phew!

”I saved it. Your name... Morishita, pay attention here!”

People were crying bloody tears.

Then ball flew directly past Amasawa’s face, but girl didn’t move at all, or dodge at all, as if she knew the trajectory of, and continued, ”To go to Class C of second grade.”

”…..”

At this time, Horikita-senpai, who had opened her legs and grasped the ground tightly, finally moved.

Horikita’s calm expression finally showed some movement.

Because what Amasawa said was right.

She also disdains lying.

”Indeed. In this sports festival, I want to get first place in girls’ score, and I want the transfer certificate. Class I want to go to is not A, but C. Once you get transfer form, you will go another class next semester, so there is no need to hide it.”

Horikita Suzune said this, sounding extremely frank.

”.....” XN

However, these frank and upright words surprised and made people around her feel complicated.

For 3rd graders, after getting the transfer certificate, is your goal just to go to Class C instead of visiting A?

”That girl is stupid, right?”

”You want to where now.....”

’You know, Class A is the top! And occasionally when I pass by your second-year area, I see your class evaluation scores, and A is still far ahead. If you join, you can get a lot of living expenses.’ So, senior girls feel it’s not worth it.

Of course, this can only be a 3rd grader who is unaware of truth.

For 1st and 2nd graders, it is clear what is in Class 2-C.

Besides the annoying Ryuen-senpai, Hikigaya-kun is also there.

In other words, is Horikita Suzune’s current actions actually following to sit with Hikigaya in same class?

”•◠•” Kushida-chan.

”I feel really embarrassed for some reason.....” Nanase feels a little bit shy after she understood what’s going on.

”This must be a confession. But I don’t feel sorry for Sakayanagi-senpai....”

”Hey, Tsubaki-san, do you know something? Spill a little....”

As for this matter, Kikyo Kushida felt that she had been deceived.

”It’s not...not good.” Sakura had a bad feeling this is going to be more dangerous.
