COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

’Damn Horikita, so you asked me to help you so much, but in the end you went to Class C to find Hikigaya Hachiman just for you? How could you be so excessive!’

Because for Kushida-chan, although the relationship is not public, she is actually Hikigaya’s girlfriend.

’Horikita Suzune, do you know what you are doing? You went to my boyfriend’s class to find him with all your might.....’ Kushida suddenly felt bad.

’When I was in junior high school, it was easy to know who was dating whom in the class and who was cheating on whom. Later, when my true identity was exposed as a shit blogger, those people who hid such things started fighting each other. At that time, I just looked at them coldly....I even thought that if I’m cuckolded, it’s no big deal. But now.’

Really angry....

Judging from degree to which Kushida-chan can control other people’s hearts, and her understanding of Hachiman Hikigaya.

’If he knew that Horikita had made such an effort, then... Boss would probably be very moved. After all, he is such an easy target. Showing yourself working hard in front of him will make him waver.....Putting aside the fact this incident hasn’t happened yet, it’s very unusual that Hikigaya-kun didn’t interfere too much in this sports festival. You know, Hikigaya Hachiman is a guy who regards every special exam that makes students worry as a way to gain points from school. Even if there is no more pickles to be plucked, he will take action. After all, he is very practical. But this time he didn’t do anything....Therefore, there is only one reason, he must have guessed Horikita Suzune’s actions, and knew that she wanted to obtain class transfer ticket and then jump to his current class to find him....Ah, it’s horrible. Why do you think about others so much? Didn’t Hikigaya Hachiman change because of Horikita’s actions? This is the state after being hit by a straight ball....’

Kushida-chan’s face was sullen.

”Ball...Ball...hit! Look out!”

Oh my god.

’So, in addition to Ichinose-san, my future competitors will also include Horikita Suzune? I feel like I really can’t stand competing with someone like her!’

Kushida-chan was in a terrible mood, but she was still trying to maintain the demeanor of an angel on her face, and just looked at Horikita with a surprised look.

”Mmpph!”

Bang!

She hit the ball hard in frustration.

”What a frank person you are.” Even junior Amasawa was speechless after hearing what Horikita said. ’Because I thought she might make an excuse, but result was so smooth, and at the same time... risk factor also increased.’

Amasawa knew that her senior was the one who could not stand direct attack.

”Isn’t this very romantic?” There is also a schoolgirl here who is unaware of the truth.

It’s your junior Nanase.

She felt that she had received help from Hikigaya-senpai, and it seemed that he used to be a student in Class D.

Although he has now successfully transferred to another class, some of his former companions actually came to see him.

It is indeed very romantic.

”Ah——what can I say?” Sakura actually thought this was a good idea, but she didn’t say it for obvious reasons. ’Because in past, Hikigaya-kun and Horikita-san were a famous couple in the class. Even though he went to Ryuen-kun’s in middle of school, we can still see him going to Horikita-san’s room....buying food, and stuff in market etc. It seems that relationship has not changed, but it turns out that if they are in the same class, can be maintained longer.’

”Is that so——For a man—”

For Matsushita, this was a very sore topic, between 2 million points and a transfer voucher that only lasts for one semester, 2 million are definitely more important.

It turns out that Horikita Suzune didn’t go to Class A to experience it, but went to find Hikigaya Hachiman because of a love affair.

This made her start to examine herself and realize that romance you had during student days was so valuable.

’Horikita-san was willing to ignore 2 million points or opportunity to get a trial card to Class A, and even spent 2 million points out of her own pocket. She is definitely a reliable lover....’ Matsushita also updated her opinion of Horikita-san.

”Ah? The target class transfer paper turned out not to be in A?” Here is a genuine 2nd-year Class A student.

Morishita is proud to be a student in Class A.

’At the same time, I also heard that Princess Sakayanagi went to Class D to welcome Horikita Suzune, but, are you so ungrateful? Even I want this opportunity, okay? You know, until now, Princess Sakayanagi has never praised my actions. This puts a lot of pressure on me as I will graduate in a year and a half. After all, what I want more than graduating from Class A is to be taken in by Princess Sakayanagi and work under her. I got a letter of recommendation from school, and even got in without taking an exam.....How can you trustfully cling to a rich woman’s thighs? Sakayanagi Arisu is in poor health, so many important things probably need to be done by both hands. As such a right-hand man, my salary must be very considerable.. High salary, contact with high society, and being entrusted with important tasks. This is the truly bright path instead of doing hours at a corporate job.....’ It’s a pity that Morishita’s road has not been opened yet.

”Let’s continue the game. That’s my goal, but I won’t say that I’m deliberately trying to get your sympathy or show mercy. So, I will assert myself.”

’Then you are really inhuman!’ Amasawa thought to herself.

”I envy Horikita-senpai for being able to express her feelings so directly. But unfortunately, my goal has been achieved, so I’m going to stop here.”

As she said this, she picked up the volleyball.

As server, serve.

But it’s a pity.

”Eto...It fell after touching net. The falling area belongs to Red team.”

”White team gets 1 point!”

The referee assisting in this match was Hoshinomiya Chie.

Although she thought students’ gossip was quite interesting, she was also a little surprised.

’Because logically speaking, isn’t Ichinose-chan from my class closer to Hikigaya-kun? How come the girls in Sae-chan’s class are so brave?’

But...

The more chaotic the relationship and feelings during school years, the better.

It’s best to quarrel or even fight.

Even though Chie wanted to eat melons, she still didn’t forget her responsibilities.

So continue to be referee.

”Fuuuu White team gets 1 point!”

”White team gets 1 point!”

Because of Amasawa Ichika’s poor performance, the advantage gained by Red Team was quickly exhausted.

When Nanase found out that Amasawa was playing poorly, although she felt that she should take the game seriously, Isshiki Iroha also chose to play fishing.

In addition, Tsubaki Sakurako, who didn’t receive many balls in first place, was just looking around.

In this way, Horikita and others won an overwhelming victory.

”The White Team is first to score 25 goals and won second game. Because they won two games in a row, they won the final victory.”

”I lost...money? This junior, what did you do? Red team cheated! I was scammed. This match was fixe----”

Bam! Bam!

”He’s out----throw him out. You are banned from future bets!”

After getting confirmed result, both teams completely relaxed.

Then became breathless.

After all, this was nearly 100 balls.

Even with cooperation of teammates, it is still very tiring.

Most of the physical strength and energy have been exhausted.

”.....” Ibuki stared at Horikita with a strange expression.

”What’s wrong?” Suzune seemed confused.

”You’re transferring to Class C?” Ibuki herself is a student there.

It can be said that she knew that Ryuen had lost too much and finally chose not to continue fighting, so Ibuki also spent money to buy Hikigaya Hachiman.

But Class C is still hopeless.

In the end, Horikita Suzune actually turned around so hard?

”If we’re lucky, we’ll be classmates next.” Horikita Suzune seemed very open and honest.

”...Now I don’t feel like going to Ichinose’s class at all.” It seems like Ibuki just realised her position in class seems to be threatened by Horikita.

”Horikita-senpai’s tenth event is Triple jump competition, which will start in half an hour. You must be very tired now, even with half an hour of relaxation time. But if you do, Kinoshita-senpai from Class C will also sign up.....”

Kinoshita-senpai is currently ranked second in girls’ scoring.

A genuine athlete.

If it is a fighting contest, then Horikita will not lose, but if it is a sports contest, she is inferior to opponent.

This is what specialization means.

”Were you... deliberately draining my energy just now?” Suzune recognized it. Although Amasawa is very strong in fighting, she even gave up at end of the volleyball event.

However, other party seemed to have achieved her goal.

If Amasawa was just deliberately draining her energy.

”Teehee~You figured it out.” Ichika smiled adorably, ”Although it’s an open conspiracy, how are you going to deal with it next?”

”It’s no longer necessary.” But Kushida-chan said this at this time with a huge frown on her cheeks, ”Numbers are already full for this event.... Kinoshita-san couldn’t register in time.”

The total scores of the current second-year girls are as follows.

No.1 Onodera, Class D, Grade 2, 50 points (participated in 10 events)

No.2: Minori Kinoshita, Class C, Grade 2, 49 points (already participated in 9 events)

No.3 Masumi Kamuro, Class A, Grade 2, 49 points (participated in 10 events)

No.4 Horikita Suzune, Class D, Grade 2, 48 points (participated in 9 events)

Onodera and Kamuro-san’s results are fixed and will not change because they have participated in 10 events.

But Horikita, for her tenth event, she needs -1 point to register, but if she gets a place, she will get +4 points.

She can surpass all the above people and move forward.

This competition.... similar to volleyball event.

You are familiar with it.

The opponent Kinoshita....how could you not register in time? Where did these people come from.....

It’s like enemies becoming extremely jealous of each other when they meet, Kinoshita watched with bloody eyes as Horikita went to participate.

When rules of this sports festival were announced at the beginning, during lunch break, Kushida-chan was asked by Horikita to connect with Kinoshita.

This is Tenth event, and most people would choose to participate just to make up the numbers and give it a final push, so there are no other competitors.

Therefore, Horikita-san will win without fighting.

The winner is Horikita Suzune.

For Kushida-chan.....

???

The hell happened?
