COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Class B, Grade 2.

”Everyone, please save some money.”

Although sheeps are somewhat tempted to exchange cash for local products like grass, they are still studying in school and aiming to be in Class A.

Moreover, some have dropped out, but they are still having so much fun, which is indeed not very authentic.

Therefore, each person symbolically exchanged 20,000 points.

Prepare to embark on a budget trip.

xxxxx

As for Class D of Grade 2.

”Ah, you still have to spend your points to exchange for cash.”

Not many people exchanged.

”I’m a little hesitant. If I stay in the hotel and don’t go out, I can save on transportation costs....”

The students who were pessimistic about their class thought so in their hearts.

Even if it is 20,000 yen in transportation costs, it seems better to save it.

”...Don’t laugh. Don’t laugh.” Kushida-chan was heard talking about something non-sense like this.

But people just thought she was a bit nervous.

After an hour and a half on bus, everyone arrived at airport.

Follow the plan.

So let’s gather here at airport now.

But you need to wait. This is when grouping can become active.

The students began to look for members of their own groups, and after forming teams, they acted together from time they boarded plane to time they returned to school.

Hachiman also found his team members, which was easily formed.

Albert in his class was Ryuen’s bodyguard. He usually spoke no more than three sentences and was very tall.

It was said that he was 1.93 meters tall when he entered school, and now...2.07 what a scary number.

It was very tall and conspicuous, so by standing next to Albert, he could wait for members of list to come over on their own.

The students’ team lists all included students from four classes.

The total number is 40+39+39+36=154 people.

There were 20 groups in total, 17 groups of 8 people and 3 groups of 6 people.

This is because number of dropouts has to be patched together temporarily.

However, there are also advantages to having fewer people. For those more introverted students, they don’t need to interact with so many.

However, this sudden action of forming a new group is still a bit stressful for our kind of people.

Hikigaya-kun has already received two messages asking for help from Sakura.

Boy himself is actually not good at interacting with others.

It should be said that thanks to Sakayanagi’s suggestion, he was made vice-president of student council and became widely known among.

Standing next to Albert, Hikigaya received members of his group.

He didn’t have to go at all, do you want Vice President to come look for you? My foot, eat shit!

Hayabusa Kito and Miki Yamamura from Class A.

These two people give off a feeling of a monster and a beautiful girl.

Kito is tall and has striking facial features, like a crow and Tengu. He also has long curly hair like kelp.

It’s hard to describe, but he seems to be type who doesn’t like to talk much.

As for classmate Yamamura, Hachiman saw her talking to Sakayanagi on ship before.

She should be the person Sakayanagi usually uses, but she is relatively introverted.

”Hello, I’m.....”

Such a quiet voice and a worried look on her face made her presence felt very low.

She was wearing same girl’s uniform as everyone else, but with white socks.

??? Hachiman, should he ask her to repeat? He didn’t even hear anything at all what she just said!

Yamamura seems to have a similar personality to Sakura. but she is also different from her.

Sakura makes herself less conspicuous by dressing in a more old-fashioned way, while Yamamura doesn’t wear glasses or even put on any special makeup.

She seems to have a low-profile temperament.

If you don’t pay special attention to her, you might ignore her and treat her as the background.

”Hikigaya-kun!”

Sudents from Class B also came.

The boy’s name is Watanabe Norihito, wearing a pair of blue-framed glasses, and girl’s name is Shiranami Chihiro.

Shiranami is also a rather introverted person, and because she noticed that Hikigaya-kun is here, girl seemed to have a subtle expression.

Ah....Hachiman knew this.

The two of them had an encounter regarding confessing their feelings to Ichinose.

An archangel like Ichinose, who is like warm sun in winter, can easily bring warmth to students with more introverted personalities.

But this Shiranami is probably similar to Hikigaya-kun, type that

’I think she might like me.’

Chihiro-chan thinks Ichinose has feelings for her.

So, girl mustered up the courage to confess her feelings.

Ichinose noticed this. She couldn’t respond to Shiranami but didn’t want to hurt her either, so Hikigaya took over and performed a scene in front of Shiranami where he confessed his love to Ichinose but was rejected.

’So, in other person’s eyes, I was probably labeled as someone who liked Ichinose but was rejected by her.....’

Then Hachiman was looked at with a slightly inferior look by other party.

”....”

’But it’s a pity, for you Chihiro-chan. This tag has been updated.....’ Hikigaya-kun rudely thought to himself.

Soon, students from Class D also arrived.

”Hikigaya.” The first person to come over was his former classmate Yukimura Teruhiko, who was carrying a blue travel bag and looked a little more tired by face.

”Horikita was not in class yesterday. She went to look for you....” Yukimura pushed his glasses.

Um....

It should be said that Yukimura doesn’t have many friends in Class D.

It’s not that he is unpopular, but that he is the type who can easily run out of topics to talk about.

’At this time, your presence is needed. Everyone’s Kushida-chan where are you? Please save m----’

Hikigaya-kun then looked in one direction.

”Sorry I’m late.” Little angel Kushida-chan came in a hurry.

In addition to a travel bag, she was also carrying a large too.

It was quite big, so she didn’t walk over very fast. Hachiman walked over and took it from her.

”Why is it so heavy?” But when he took it, he realized that weight was wrong, ”Are you planning to run away or som----”

”Ah, that... Actually, I was thinking about my first school trip in high school, I was so excited that I couldn’t help but bring a lot of things, including pots and bowls. But when I came to my senses, I found that I was already on the bus and it was too late to get back.”

”Haha, Kushida-san also has such confused moments.”

Although she is an introvert, Shiranami actually took the initiative to greet Kushida-chan.

The atmosphere of whole group suddenly became more lively.

For this group of taciturn people, Kushida-chan is like a mood regulator.

All members arrived at the airport and found their corresponding teams. In next five days, they will be required to act together.

Hikigaya-kun and Kushida-chan also started to board the plane, ”What’s going on? Why are there so many things? I don’t buy what you said....”

”Shhh...Actually, Mii-chan was assigned to same group as Hirata-kun. She was worried that she had too much luggage, and he would definitely help her. But you know...she doesn’t want to make him too tired. Well, she also brought a lot of food and don’t want him to think that she is a big eater....”

”...I..well, I don’t know what to say. Can you girls be a little more decisive at least?”

”Shut up. You boys don’t understand. Maybe it’s because of the girl’s face and desire to show her best side in front of her lover, so she left her luggage with me for the time being.”

”...Right, you are the social animal here.”

”What do you mean animal? Can you at least say butterfly?” Kushida-chan was not impressed by her new title at all.

Hachiman often heard complaints from Kushida.

One of the more troublesome people was Wang Meiyu, who was also Kushida-chan’s best friend.

Even when Kushida-chan was in her evil state, she criticized her best friend without hesitation.

”... Weird. I didn’t know...he was also very close to Kushida-san. They are talking so casually in low voices....”

”Huh...a-are you tal----me?”
