COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

After sending Ichika back, Hachiman turned on his cell phone.

The grouping information for his school trip tomorrow has also come out.

It’s a group of eight.

Class A’s Kito Hayabusa + Yamamura Miki

Watanabe + Chihiro Shiranami from Class B

Then there is himself in Class C + Albert

As for Class D, it is Kushida Kikyo + Yukimura Teruhiko

They were basically all acquaintances, and Albert didn’t talk much, so it was easy to get along with him.

When encountering unfamiliar teammates, the little angel Kushida can also play role of adjustment.

”Kushida, have you seen the grouping information?” Hikigaya did not forget to help Sudo find out.

[Hey did you see, we are a group in school trip? No stupid juniors to mess around. I can finally breathe!]

”Onodera has been close to Sudo recently?”

[ (╥ᆺ╥;) ]

Kushida-chan sent an emoticon.

[She, Matsushita-san, and others played truth or dare and failed.]

”…..” ’Does that mean Sudo’s idea that she might like him is wrong? This is so cruel....’

[But Onodera-san picked the target herself, so if she chose Sudo-kun, then maybe she really has a crush on him.]

Kushida-chan knows most of the students’ affairs, and she has a good grasp of human emotions, so she can quickly gain the trust of others.

What she said means that Onodera actually has a crush on Sudo.

Then Sudo’s expectation of being confessed during the school trip might come true.

’One of 3 biggest illusions of boys: She might like me, and Sudo is the only one who would fall for this....’

Hikigaya-kun thought sigh fully.

Other side.

The lobby on first floor of dormitory.

”Drop!”

An expressionless boy just swiped his card outside and entered the lobby.

He found a man sitting in the lounge.

The man had magenta hair parted in the middle and looked like a delinquent.

He was wearing a black shirt with the first button exposed.

This man was known to all second-year students.

But this was Ryuen from Class C, and since they lived in same building, it was normal for them to meet here.

Ayanokoji kept a low profile and continued to walk by with his bag.

He just went to supermarket to shop to prepare for tomorrow’s school trip.

For him, he doesn’t have much experience of life in the outside world, so this kind of school trip is the first time for him.

He wondered whether he should buy some snacks and share them with his classmates on the bus like kids who go on spring and autumn tours.

So, Ayanokoji ignored Ryuen, but Ryuen did not let him go.

The tall Albert stood in front.

Ayanokoji could only look at Ryuen passively.

”Ayanokoji, right? We are assigned to the same group for this school trip. Your performance in sports festival was quite eye-catching. I am now a big fan of yours. What do you say?”

”.....I don’t swing that way?”

”....That’s not what I mean. Hold on, why do you ask it like a question?”

”I am not sure I understand.”

”You must be inept. Not a single word of your mouth feels genuine or had a meaning to it.”

”Well, I am from Class D.”

”....!” Ryuen.

The fact that he was able to defeat the monster Koenji Rokusuke during sports festival shows that Ayanokoji is also a strong monster.

Therefore, whether for sake of the class or for points, Ryuen should pay attention to the opponent.

After all, this is someone who is not inferior to Koenji in terms of physical fitness.

He may be a weapon for Class D, but he can also be a tool for him to take special exams to deal with Class D.

For example, letting Ayanokoji fake a match or something like that.

”Let’s go Albert. I need a drink.”

Ryuen felt bored.

”I currently don’t have any intention of betraying my class, if that’s what you are here for.”

Suddenly, hairs stood on end.

”• ! O” A glance behind.

While everyone else is thinking about going on school trips, possibly falling in love, confessing their love, and other scandalous events, dragon boy is meticulously preparing for the class confrontation.

”So, you do have a bra---bastard, did he run away? Whatever, huh...my fingers are tre...What is this feeling? I am....no, it’s excitement...”

At seven o’clock next day, all second graders gathered at school gate.

Line up according to class.

Then take bus to the airport.

The students have basically adapted to this arrangement, but when they were waiting for, their equipment was still embarrassing.

Almost no one was traveling light, but rather they were carrying large and small bags, and one could tell at a glance that they had brought a lot of snacks.

After all, what high school doesn’t have a school trip that lasts more than 2 days?

From addition of cultural festivals to school trips, students feel like they are back in high school.

Hikigaya-kun was also in the line of students.

He noticed that in direction of Class A, next to the tall Kamuro-san stood a very cute girl with silver hair and no smile on her face.

In other words, Sakayanagi did not miss this school trip.

But she seemed to be in a bad mood.

Chairman’s office.

The cash exchange work was completed early in morning and Mr. Sakayanagi could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

This time, second-year students were arranged to go on a school trip to Hokkaido.

In fact, school paid for venue, as well as transportation, accommodation and meals for students.

The total amount shall not exceed 10 million.

The cash exchange work done today was just to advance 5 million in cash to each class teacher.

If students want to buy some items or specialties in Hokkaido, they can pay points and take cash directly.

This is also because Hokkaido is not under control of the school, so it cannot cover use of student ID points.

Because students want to get cash, they swipe points from ID cards on mobile phones.

The ratio is also 1,000 personal points for 800 yen.

School does not need to pay for it.

Maybe even make a little money.

Because cash exchange limit for each student is 100,000 yen, if you want to exchange more, you will need to pay some handling fees.

This move also made some old staff members discover subtleties.

”I always feel that you seem to be particularly concerned about budget issues during these special exams.”

A staff member said to Chairman.

”I don’t think there’s much need to worry. After all, you are completely different from Chairman Tsukishiro. The rules of exam are more strictly controlled, so there won’t be such a big loophole.....”

This was about uninhabited island exam when Tsukishiro was acting chairman, an exam that school paid nearly 200 million yen for.

It’s so scary.

Even their staff were stunned. The dumbest thing was that Acting chairman Tsukishiro asked them to pay without even looking at money.

But it is still satisfying that Tsukishiro finally left here.

But after Chairman Sakayanagi came back, he became even stricter.

Is that so?

Although Nagumo’s grade was the biggest headache before, 3rd graders have started fighting fiercely since he left.

So even though it starts late, can still launch it on behalf of school in end.

The second-year students, under the influence of Chairman Tsukishiro’s proxy, lost a large amount of points.

Although some of it was recovered.

It is indeed a bit thrilling.

Therefore, for these special examinations, Chairman has set budget for each special examination within a safe range.

But it is indeed a bit too cautious.

But this is also when he discovered a problem. It seems that some classes among first-year students have begun to accumulate points and use special exam as an ATM to withdraw points.

This made him feel overwhelmed.

”Speaking of which, your daughter also went on school trip this time as required by rules....”

”Yeah, is this really okay Sir?”

”When I meet her at school, I always feel that she is still very frail.”

It seems people here are very casual and can talk with Chairman on normal topics.

”She was always left at home because of her health problems before. Now that Arisu can finally come to school, she wants to have a perfect experience. As a father, I definitely hope to satisfy her as much as possible....”

”However, I also made three rules with her. She is not allowed to participate in dangerous activities such as skiing and snowball fights. Overall, I think she should still be able to experience beauty of fulfillment.”

I see....

The staff nodded.

School gate.

”My shirt feels a bit tight around my chest. I have gotten a little big. What do you think Sakayanagi....?”

Arisu held the cane in her left hand, while Kamuro-san was carrying her own bag and dragging Sakayanagi’s suitcase, but she noticed that Sakayanagi was unhappy.

Because she knew that Sakayanagi was a love-brained person, she understood why girl was in a bad mood.

”૮(˶ㅠ︿ㅠ)ა” Arisu was pouting. ’I finally got permission from my father to go on a school trip, but when it came time to group together, it turned out that all insignificant people were put with me. So, what’s the craze about it?’

”Kamuro-san, I don’t want to talk to you right now. Can you please shut up?”

Although it was a respectful tone, the fact that she said ”I don’t want to talk to you” and ”Please shut up” showed that Sakayanagi was in a bad mood.

This made Morishita, who usually envied Kamuro-san, feel very happy.

’Because I never thought that there would be such a day for you, Kamuro Masumi. However, since Princess Sakayanagi Arisu is in a bad mood, it is better not to contact her today.’

To avoid angering others or getting blamed, either of which would be terrible.

So, Ai Morishita kept quiet.
