COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

According to itinerary, today is free time.

We just had a skiing lesson yesterday and students are still very enthusiastic about it.

”Well, today’s plan is to go to ski resort. What’s yours?”

Most of members at the scene had no problem with it.

Yukimura caught a cold from taking a bath too late yesterday, so he didn’t go out with them, but Albert wanted to follow Ryuen.

After finding out that Albert could go find Ryuen, the introverted Shiranami-san mustered up courage to act together with Ichinose-san.

”….”

Since it was a free activity, Hikigaya-kun didn’t force other party.

So, out of a team of 8, 5 people traveled.

After having breakfast at 8 o’clock in the morning, Hikigaya-kun and his group arrived at the ski resort only to find that shop renting equipment was not open yet.

”Oh come on...what a bummer.”

Although there was snow on site and no one was stopping you from skiing, doors of the equipment rental shops were closed.

However, there are many shops around the ski resort.

”There is a person over here...Let me go and ask. Maybe he knows.”

Watanabe learned from nearby merchants that opening time of rental shop is 9:15.

So, you have to wait.

You can also choose to buy ski equipment directly from nearby shops so that you can start at your own pace.

But it’s a pity, price is also beautiful.

A single snowboard costs more than 200,000 yen. It’s very cruel. A complete set of equipment costs at least 500,000 or 600,000 yen.

So, excuse me.

”Let’s go there.” However, the always dull classmate Kito suddenly suggested.

He raised his hand and pointed in a direction.

There are two streets of shops selling all kinds of clothing.

”Eh...are you feeling cold? Do you want to buy jacket or something?” There are five boys in this team, but only Watanabe likes to talk.

But Kito ignored him and continued walking forward.

However, Watanabe is a student of Ichinose’s class.

Last year, when Horikita Manabu was still in the third year of school, students of Ichinose’s class came into contact with 3rd-year students while queuing because they were eating a free and unpalatable mountain vegetable set meal together.

They even got some free tickets for 3rd-year students.

As long as Ichinose runs for election, she will be able to get votes.

That is to say, most of the students in class... are social elites. So, didn’t care about Kito’s actions. Watanabe followed directly.

”Kito’s feet are so big, they look just like Yukio’s footprints,” he said, following Kito, and then noticed Hayabusa’s footprints walking through the snow.

Watanabe said this in admiration while comparing it to his own feet.

Even without considering Kito’s tall stature, the size of these feet is undoubtedly quite large.

Maybe buying shoes requires custom-making.

Hikigaya-kun inexplicably thought that Sakura, Ichinose and others must be having a hard time as well.

Of course, it’s not good to have these strange thoughts, and Hikigaya-kun quickly shook his head.

”Then let’s go together, Yamamura-san.” Although Kushida-chan learned the secret of Yamamura from Sakayanagi, that was just what she got.

It wasn’t that she got data on her own.

In other words.

It seemed like a mockery of her ability as the little angel Kushida-chan, so she was trying to conquer Yamamura.

However, this enthusiastic action caused trouble to Yamamura with a weak presence.

”Eh...Where’s Yamamura-san? She was here a moment ago, right?”

”...Ah, I’ll stay...Please don’t mind, you guys go over too.”

”Baaah!” Kushida-chan screamed a little bit, when she suddenly heard a voice from her left ear.

”....” Yamamura rejected Kushida afterwards, and moved backwards.

In the end, Kushida-chan had to give up with a nervous chuckle to hide her embarrassing act.

”...Let her have a preconceived impression first, then it will be easier to break through her heart. It would be best if she is in some trouble and then help her solve it.”

Hachiman, however, was acting together with Kushida, and heard her quiet complaints.

Hikigaya-kun was a little envious of this.

Because although this girl often complains about troubles of social relationships, she actually enjoys it.

’How great it would be if she could focus this energy on studying. But Amasawa also said that she would help Kushida with her studies, so it seems that there shouldn’t be any problem.....’

So, the two of them came to the clothing store Kito had just pointed to.

Among the few shops that were open now, there was a unique clothing store.

For some reason, Kito walked over and began to stare at clothes in the store.

It displayed quite conspicuous and strange clothes. Did Kito find a sample that he liked?

Just as Hachiman was thinking this, Kito put those in his hand back and started looking for other clothes.

It didn’t seem like a spur of the moment thing, but it was something that was done with great interest.

’Is this huge, weird-looking athlete from Class A actually someone who likes dresses....?’ Hikigaya-kun recalls Ibuki’s obsessive-compulsive need to watch all the movies showing at school.

Ibuki considers watching movies as a hobby.

So it’s not surprising that Kito is now interested in clothing.

After all, as long as it is something you like, only you can judge whether it is strange or not.

While thinking this, Hachiman discovered that Kushida had already taken the initiative to talk to clerk.

Hachiman looked back at where Yamamura was. She had a low presence and was sitting quietly by herself.

”Hi, my name is Kozue Makihara. I am a freshman in Shuchin Academy. Your uniform is different. What school are you from.....?”

It seemed that a boy wearing another school uniform walked by.

If what Kushida-chan just said has already left an impression on Yamamura, then if she helps her solve the problem, can get closer.

Now is the chance, Kushida.

It seems that Yamamura is being harassed by students from other schools, and it is obviously not appropriate for Kushida to step in at this time.

After all, Kushida is cuter than Yamamura, and if she goes to help, she might get harassed herself.

Hikigaya-kun looked around and noticed two students coming in from entrance of the ski resort.

One of them was a boy with magenta middle-parted hair who was wrapped tightly.

The other is tall Albert. So, Hachiman sent a message to Ryuen.

”Ding ding!”

???

Ryuen had just entered ski resort when he noticed the cell phone in his pocket vibrating.

Generally speaking, school rules state that it is best not to bring your mobile phone to ski resort as it may be lost.

If it is lost, you will have to spend money to find it or even buy it again.

But now that Ryuen is rich, he can waste it as he pleases.

As soon as he took out his phone, saw the message was from Hikigaya Hachiman.

Other party actually wanted to borrow Albert who was by his side.

”Damn, we’re not even in the same group anymore, and yet you still order me around.” Ryuen seemed a little dissatisfied.

But he said to Albert.

”Go over there, the girl in your group is in trouble. She’s from Class A.”

Ryuen was actually somewhat tempted.

He was assigned to same group as Ayanokoji. On the one hand, he was thinking about how to bribe the guy cheaply, but he did not forget that Ayanokoji’s personal strength was very strong.

However, confrontation was only against Class D, already hopeless.

Today’s school trips are very suitable for obtaining intelligence and planting spies in other classes.

Because these are scattered actions, they will temporarily be out of control of general class representatives.

Then even if it was Class A that Sakayanagi was in, not impossible to hit them.

So, he took the initiative to speak.

”Go and help.” Ryuen took action, and his speed was very fast.

Or rather.

”Why are so quiet? I am talking to you over here? Let me see.... Advanced Nurturing Hi---Holy crap! Is that true?”

The boy was originally on a school trip with his classmates.

After all, Hokkaido’s ski resorts are very famous.

But he discovered yesterday that there seemed to be students from other schools at the scene.

But his batchmates people are too scared to talk at all, because others looked very big...it means they are from senior grade.

But this girl looks quiet and gentle, with beautiful features. Although she is not outstanding, her weak temperament makes her quite interesting.

This kind of personality seems to be easily led by the nose!

Then wouldn’t it be nice if it could develop into a relationship across schools?

”Hey, hey... Tell me your name?” As he was speaking he felt someone tapping his shoulder.

”Who! …Ah!”

Kozue seemed a little impatient, but when he turned around, he saw Albert, who was 2.03 meters tall and wearing sunglasses, giving him an oppressive feeling.

Albert was like a giant, with his hands on his shoulders.

”….”

”E-Excuse me.” The boy immediately became timid, his shoulders tilted, and he walked aside.

Albert stood in front of Yamamura.

”I’m...sorry to trouble you.” She quickly stood up and bowed a little to express her gratitude.

Words are also yours. That is to say, it’s not just facing Albert.

After all, Hikigaya-kun is here now.

”You can go find Ryuen now.”

”The boss asked me to stay!”

....oh?

Hikigaya-kun noticed something was wrong, and Albert also knew how to read the atmosphere and took initiative to stand aside.

So there are only two people in this place for now.

”…...” Miki Yamamura.

”...” Hikigaya-kun, ”Today is free time. If you don’t want to come out, you can refuse. Just like Albert goes to Ryuen, and Shiranami wants to join Ichinose’s group, or Yukimura stays in the hotel, there’s no problem either.”

”But... that...” Yamamura must have been frightened by students from another school. Her voice became much softer, ”I thought... students from Shuchin Academy are quite...respectful.”

But Hikigaya-kun shook his head, knowing her reason, ”There are people of different categories everywhere. Anyway, we are from different classes, I can’t say anything when faced with orders from representatives of your class. But...If you are assigned to follow me or Kushida, then you don’t have to hide all the time. After all, you’ll be discovered every time. So it would be safer to just follow or contact normally.”

Huh?

However, Hikigaya-kun had no idea how surprised Yamamura was at that moment.

”Am...I discovered?”

It’s like talking to herself again.
