COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”…..” Ichinose who saw the contrast of a fallen angel just now. ’Did something happen...? I never saw Kushida-san like this. Is she being bullied?’

O O !

Never mind!

After Kushida-chan came back, she seemed to keep a little distance from Horikita-san, but from Ichinose’s perspective, Kushida-san...screen of her phone was recording.

’Do you need to record the current chat content? In other words, Kushida-san is actually on high alert against Horikita-san?’

Because she and Kushida are love rivals, Ichinose knows very well that Kushida and she are now on the same side. ’Does that mean Horikita-san is actually our love rival?’

The classmates who don’t know the truth think that Horikita went to Hikigaya’s class just to follow him, which makes people feel very romantic.

So, what does Horikita-san think?

”Love? I don’t understand your idea.” But Horikita refused directly, without showing any kind of shy or girly expression or flush on her cheeks at all, ”High school is so important, especially this, which is different from outside. I think studying here or growing up is the most important thing.”

”Then you go to Class C where Hikigaya-kun is...” Ichinose continued to ask to pressure her using her breasts a little.

”That’s following Hikigaya-kun. I want to grow, but I believe I can only gain enough experience by being around him.”

Although she was a little hesitant to say this, Horikita still felt it was better to express her attitude this way.

After all, studying and growing up are the most important things in high school, and excitement of love should be left to college.

’My brother started dating Tachibana Akane-senpai only after he went to college....’ Thinking of this, Horikita found herself becoming very relaxed.

Even....

”It took a while to wash. I’ll go back first.”

Kushida-chan could only watch as Horikita left so swiftly.

So, Horikita finally found a chance to evacuate without losing face because of being soaked.

Kushida-chan, on the other hand, was staring at Horikita’s back.

”Um...” Ichinose seemed to be hesitant to speak as she also stared at Kushida.

Because she would postpone her bath tonight because of this girl’s invitation. ’So now that Horikita-san has left, as for Kushida-san... is there anything that needs to be said between the two of us alone, can you please say it?’

”Ichinose-san, please be a witness for me.” However, Kushida-chan took Ichinose to basket where clothes were placed.

When she saw Kushida picking up the towel left by Nishikawa to return, Ichinose also noticed what was in the basket.

That’s why she thought Kushida was being bullied after seeing her face.

...ah. Is there such a thing?

Reason for why Ichinose’s eyes widened earlier.

Then she also discovered that Kushida had deleted recording file of Horikita that she had just made.

She contacted Nishikawa, took a photo of recorder and sent it to her, and told her that if she told another person, photo of recorder would be leaked.

Your reputation destroyed.

’Carrying a recorder with you everywhere, what a horrible thing it is. I guess even classmates like Nishikawa-san won’t want to have any contact with Kushida-san anymore in the future. In other words, what Kushida-san is doing now is to make this matter bigger?’

”I kinda agree with Kushida-san. Students here are very strange....It’s quite different from the ones in my junior high school....why do you carry recorders here?”

”Well, I don’t know....my classmates were pretty bad. Some even got pregnant with our teachers...”

”Nani! W-what do you mean?!”

Other side.

When everyone finished taking a hot spring bath, Sakayanagi was resting with her eyes closed, but she was not in her room at the moment.

Instead, she spent a lot of money to open a new room.

This is not to say that she does not follow school rules and stay with the group members.

Just rich and willful.

She directly applied to class teacher for a room to be used as a lounge. As for this, as long as the money is in place, everything else can be discussed.

Head teacher is not an unkind person.

Apparently, Mashima-sensei didn’t know why Sakayanagi specifically checked into a hotel - to get information.

Also obtain the information of members in same group.

Today, Sakayanagi instructed Nishikawa to get close to Kushida and see if she could get some information from her.

Of course, although Kushida was usually very respectful to her, she would come whenever she invited her.

But Sakayanagi always felt that Kushida seemed to be hiding something from her.

So, she entrusted Nishikawa to collect intelligence.

The agreed time has passed and girl hasn’t sent any message yet.

”It’s not bad...at least I don’t feel tired after all that travel hassle. Checking on planes...bus. Oooh...”

Few moments later.

”Ding ding!”

Sakayanagi’s phone lit up.

Nishikawa sent a message. Hey, it’s a recording!

Sakayanagi immediately picked her device up and listened to the recording.

”Horikita-san is quite capable of standing up.”

”She wants to learn from her brother....”

”But when the time comes to go to college, Horikita-san will find that she is falling behind.”

”Or maybe she will be very proactive in her interests?”

Sakayanagi tutted loudly in an annoying manner, ”It’s a pity though. The content of recording Nishikawa-san sent me now is not right.....”

? ? Kamuro-san looked at her in confusion.

”It doesn’t contain any more information about Kushida-san or Ichinose-san. This recording is like an interception....”

”I don’t even want to know how you came up with that idea.”

”It’s okay. Kamuro-san don’t have to understand everything. It’s just Nishikawa-san failed in her mission. Perhaps Kushida-san has caught her in the act.”

Sakayanagi sighed softly as she said this, ”It seems that she is also affected by love. Nishikawa-san has betrayed us, which means there’s a spy planted in our class. What a pity.”

....ah? Kamuro-san on the side also used her brain for a rare moment.

’So, you instructed Nishikawa to get information about Kushida, but it was countered? Why do you think she betrayed or a spy is here?’ Kamuro-san thought to herself but she really didn’t get it, or thought her owner was going too far.

’If Sakayanagi really wanted to gain someone’s favor towards Hikigaya Hachiman, or had some hope for him, then she might as well ask him. By asking, she could still retain an extra vital force in the class....’ Kamuro-san now even wonders if she should help Sakayanagi.

”So what are you going to do next?”

”Just hold on. I don’t think it’s strange to like Hikigaya-kun. Rather, the fact that Kushida-san and Ichinose-san are so nervous shows that they have no confidence. I also need to reflect.”

’Is that so? Do you also reflect on yourself?’ Kamuro-san was a little surprised, but she felt that Sakayanagi was not the type who would turn back until she hit a wall.

So she added, ”Just to ask, what are your plans next?”

”Contact Yamamura-san. Have her continue to follow Hikigaya-kun. No need to take photos or record audio, just act as a human recorder.”

”…..” Kamuro-san thinks her views of self-reflection are quite differently wrong in so many ways.

Although she feels that Sakayanagi is sometimes overconfident, and extremely love-brained.

’It’s not strange to say that she likes Hikigaya. As a class representative. Sakayanagi directly killed a classmate named Nishikawa, so I guess she won’t be included in the content of important exams in future, but. Now she started assigning Yamamura again...It’s a bit unsettling.’

However, Yamamura has been assigned to follow Kushida or Hikigaya several times, and now she has the bonus of being grouped in same group as them.

So, it shouldn’t be a big problem.

As a member of Class A, Kamuro-san actually hopes that it can go all out and graduate as Class A.

However, Sakayanagi also gave the best solution.

Buy Koenji Rokusuke and Hikigaya Hachiman.

Among them, Koenji is already in Class A, so just a little bit behind.

It seems there is no problem for Sakayanagi to just wander around now.

Time came to next day.
