Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1299 - 664: Giant Bat Cave—Fall (Part 3)

”Boom!”

Accompanied by the scream of the giant bat whose claw was sliced off by the propeller, the aircraft crashed directly to the ground!

Parts scattered in all directions, and all three propellers were destroyed in the tumble. Only the main body of the cabin rolled over the ground a dozen times before coming to a stop.

Even though the beam cast by the aircraft had dimmed somewhat, it surprisingly did not go out.

The surroundings temporarily regained silence.

”Clatter.”

A small piece of debris fell from the wrecked aircraft into the cave.

”Ugh...”

Xu Xin felt his head buzzing, aching intensely, and his vision had gone completely dark.

He felt as though his internal organs had all shifted places.

The violent collision and rolling just now made him feel as if his soul had flown to the heavens...

Fortunately...

Fortunately, at the moment of impact, he had managed to place Li Wenxi and Keke into the bracelet.

After a few seconds of clarity, his mind became less muddled, and he began to assess the current situation.

What can I say, alien technology is indeed impressive.

Even after crashing into the ground at such high speed, and the uncontrollable acceleration caused by the spinning propellers hitting the ground made the entire cabin roll over a dozen times; it somehow hardly deformed.

He remained securely strapped into his seatbelt.

However, since the cabin was upside down, he was now hanging headfirst, suspended by the seatbelt.

He moved slightly, and pain surged through his chest, while his internal organs churned.

His ribs were cracked by the seatbelt, and his internal organs had suffered from the violent impact, not to mention his head had struck the side of the cockpit during the roll, causing a splitting headache.

Xu Xin touched his head, feeling a huge bump that was painfully sensitive, and when he looked at his hand, it was covered in blood.

These were severe injuries indeed.

Nonetheless, as long as he remained conscious and could move, it wasn’t a major issue.

Qi Xuefei’s pills were meant to be used at moments like this.

With some effort, he extracted a pill and swallowed it.

A warm sensation surged within him, and his injuries began to rapidly heal.

Half a minute later, his bloodshot and dimmed vision gradually cleared, and his headache started to ease.

He couldn’t help but let out a wry smile.

Another air crash, indeed.

The last time he had sustained such severe injuries was also due to an air crash.

”Ugh... damn...” A groan followed by a curse came from the forward cockpit, then Old Yang’s voice sounded, ”Xu Xin? You two... still alive?”

Old Yang strained to turn around from the front cockpit and saw only Xu Xin behind him.

”... That girl was thrown out?”

”No, I stored her in the space,” Xu Xin replied as he unbuckled the seatbelt and dropped to the ground with a thud.

”That’s good...” Old Yang sighed in relief.

”But we’re not good at all,” Xu Xin crouched on the ground, observing the situation outside the cabin.

The cabin was cramped, with no room for him to stand, so he had to squat within the overturned cabin and find a small intact spot in the shattered window pane to look outside.

At this moment, outside the cockpit, there were numerous giant bats gathered.

They seemed very interested in this mechanical object that had suddenly appeared in their nest.

Damn, this situation is rather dire!

Behind him, Old Yang also came down and crouched beside Xu Xin, whispering, ”How’s it outside?”

”Not good, very dangerous,” Xu Xin whispered back, then turned to look at him, ”How are your injuries?”

”No problem,” Old Yang waved his hand, ”I’ve already recovered, don’t forget I’ve lived for nearly a thousand years.”

”You’ve lived nearly a thousand years; do you know what to do in this situation?” Xu Xin asked quietly.

”I don’t know, this is my first aircraft crash.”

”Alright.”

He crashed the moment he arrived.

He was really destined for air disasters.

”But, things are a bit tricky...” Old Yang’s expression turned serious, ”The aircraft crashed here, we’re at a standstill, we can’t move forward, nor return...”

Xu Xin narrowed his eyes.

Old Yang’s concern was unnecessary; after all, they had Xu Ying.

But...

”Let’s focus on the current situation first.”

No sooner had Xu Xin finished speaking than the cabin they were in shook.

Outside, it seemed the giant bats had already started playing around with the cabin!

Indeed, bats have exceptionally keen hearing; even though they were whispering, these giant bats couldn’t possibly have missed it.

They were mumbling all along, and naturally, the bats outside would get curious.

Old Yang had already taken out a weapon, a low-grade weapon provided by the alien invaders for humans.

Xu Xin also reached into his backpack.

... Wait a moment.

These bats weren’t mutated by the blood patterns, right?

If they only had the bloodline of giant beasts...

Perhaps... they could try to communicate with them?
