Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1252 - 648: You’ve Experienced Time Travel Too_2

At that time, the Chang Yin Family was still there.

However, by the second time he and Ji Chaoyang went down to verify the time flow, the underground world had become quite serene.

”Did you leave there immediately?” Xu Xin asked.

”Yes, because the situation was too bizarre.” Chang Yin nodded.

...

The monster wasn’t constantly in the place where Chang Yin conducted experiments; it only teleported there once a day to check the situation.

Yet, coincidentally when the time flow suddenly changed, the monster was there.

The monster promptly announced that it would withdraw from the area due to the anomaly in time flow.

Its attitude was very resolute.

...

As for why the monster was so determined, Xu Xin pondered slightly and understood.

The sudden anomaly in time flow might have reminded the monster of that collapsing spacetime.

Because when that spacetime was about to collapse, there was a situation where different regions exhibited different time flows.

Although during the final period of that spacetime, its mental state was very chaotic, it still remembered that astonishing situation very clearly.

Therefore, wanting to escape this abnormal place first is quite normal.

No matter the situation, running away first is the priority; staying here is out of the question.

Xu Xin suddenly remembered that at the time, he was worried about whether the henchmen in the underground world would use time flow to develop quickly; now it seems quite laughable.

When encountering such bizarre time flow conditions, anyone with a sane mind should consider leaving immediately.

Even if someone is extremely curious and wants to study it further, the priority should be to transfer important things first before planning in detail, not staying directly.

Those people leaving at that time was certainly a very normal choice.

It was indeed an exceptionally correct choice, especially considering it was not far from directly under the world tree.

Now, that area affected by time is completely Xu Xin and their domain.

”Although I don’t know what exactly happened, I also feel it’s not a place to stay long.” Chang Yin said, ”So we left.”

”Where did you go?” Ji Chaoyang asked.

”I don’t know either.” Chang Yin shook his head.

...

It seemed the monster used alien invader technology to establish a grand teleportation gate, sending the petrified giant beasts through the gate one by one, teleporting them to another location.

Still somewhere in the underground world, but where exactly, Chang Yin truly didn’t know.

Once all the stone-like creatures came through, the massive teleportation gate closed, leaving only a strange columnar device behind.

In this area, there were still giant beasts everywhere, proving extremely dangerous.

Fortunately, the controlled petrified giant beasts had also been transported here, and there were many of them.

Thus, with little effort, the Chang Yin Family managed to have the petrified giant beasts clear a safe zone.

Once safety was ensured, the Chang Yin Family finally confirmed that the monster hadn’t followed.

However, they didn’t know how to leave the area, so they camped in place to wait.

...

”Wait a moment, I have a question for you.” Xu Xin interrupted, ”I want to know, before you left, where did the super giant beast suppressed beneath your prison go?”

The area beneath the prison had become deserted when Xu Xin and Xu Ying went down to explore.

The ”Insect Mother” capable of easily creating an Insect Race army according to Xu Ying had disappeared without a trace.

Chang Yin shook his head: ”I don’t know either, because that creature was in such a hurry. Xue Lan, Xiaohong, and I were among the first to leave; what happened afterward, I’m completely unaware of.”

Alright.

Seems like this matter needs to be asked to that monster.

”Please, go on.”

”Actually, there’s not much left to say.”

Chang Yin said.

...

For Chang Yin, building a place to live was just a matter of stomping his foot.

All it took was a stomp, and stone houses would automatically rise from underground.

Therefore, although the place was unfamiliar, the Chang Yin Family didn’t feel anything was amiss.

With a group of petrified giant beasts and petrified giant insects as their guards, and without the need for the high-intensity experiments as before, this place was truly safe and comfortable.

And so, the Chang Yin Family lived safely there for about two days.

...

”It should be two days, I think.” Chang Yin said uncertainly, ”Since it’s the underground world, there weren’t any clocks or other objects to reference the time; I’m not really sure.”

”Then what happened afterward?” Xu Xin pursued.

”... After that, I came here.” Chang Yin’s stone hand clenched into a fist and knocked on his stone leg, producing a ”crack” sound, ”From your explanation earlier, I understood, it seems that creature brought me and these giant beasts over.”

As he spoke, he stood up and said to Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang, ”That creature is inside your world tree, right? Can you take me to meet it? I’m very worried about Xue Lan and Xiaohong; I don’t know why they didn’t come along.”

Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang exchanged a glance, nodded.

”Alright, we’ll take you there.”

...

When Xu Xin came here last time, there were three tree houses; now it had become five, as the monster had planted two more here.
