Surviving The Fourth Calamity

After the gates of the Greek gods were blown open, the hidden camera concealed in the shadows by Shaer naturally followed along.

Her temperament is still so amusing... among so many Great Demons, she just had to place the shadow under Cyric’s feet.

Originally, Athena, Artemis, and Apollo were supposed to wait outside for the final outcome.

But clearly, none of the three wanted to miss the chance to see that beautiful scenery.

After all, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime grand funeral for Zeus.

However, even though Athena was lying on the ground groaning, appearing gravely injured, Artemis was alive and kicking!

Although if they rushed through that gate, the few Demon Lords left behind by Dimogogan would certainly stop them... there was still a gap in strength.

Though Athena and Artemis together could contend with Dimogogan, these few small lords didn’t even have the courage to stand tall before a Double-headed Ape.

Even if they pretended to be unable to fight, unable to protect Zeus’s safety, there still needed to be an appropriate enemy to make it convincing!

Dimogogan, despite joining hands inexplicably with Cyric, still wanted to take a stroll to the top layer of Heavenly Mountain! He definitely wouldn’t stick around to play this drama with them.

And so, Cyric, Apollo’s friend, became the most convenient excuse.

Also, the place where they fought was probably personally picked by Apollo... the view was particularly good.

The mountain where Zeus lay slumbering was entirely and clearly visible.

Despite Athena tenaciously standing up, it was obvious she was still relatively weak... this time, she chose to stand behind, holding her Book of Wisdom, to buff Artemis, brandishing a long sword in front.

Apollo, although fighting shoulder to shoulder with Artemis, his task was clearly to prevent Cyric from attacking Athena, his long sword wielded so densely... yet, hardly clashing with Cyric’s short sword.

But, according to the common knowledge of the Greek gods, Apollo always fought in this chaotic style, toppling seasoned fighters with his Bastinado.

In those days, Apollo used this bawdy fighting art to fool Zeus.

Even now, he uses it to conceal his true intentions.

Whether the gods on Mount Olympia believed a Sun God with the power of prophecy only knew this kind of battle style was hard to say, but back then, they all said in chorus that Apollo, with no battle skill, was not qualified to contend with Ares for the position of War God... Zeus also sent Apollo to drive his Sun Chariot for this reason.

So now they could only watch as Apollo drag his sister down.

Actually, Hill wasn’t surprised by the Greek deities’ acting prowess.

After all, while others were just looking for fun, they were fighting for their lives.

The above Divine King and Goddess Queen... one was an ever-estrous beast that long should have been cut down, the other was supposed to be locked up madman.

However, Cyric, who was obviously giving Apollo flirty looks while fiercely attacking managed to surprise Hill.

You should know, Shaer’s high-definition camera was hidden near Cyric, so it could clearly catch his slightly flickering eyelids... you should know, the cross of swords between Cyric and Artemis set off countless sparks.

However, because the spells of the Undead Tribe were always dazzling, the God of Time and Space put considerable effort into creating a camera that could capture both the resplendent sparks and the expressions of the combatants.

It’s only because the world of the Undead Tribe is highly technologically advanced that such things have long existed, otherwise, the God of Time and Space wouldn’t have bothered... the old man’s ability to dig through existing tech trees was indeed his forte.

But if you were just using the Water Mirror Technique from afar, you wouldn’t catch their eye-batting flirtation.

Of course, Hill already knew about Cyric’s legendary acting skills, but in Toril, a place with a relatively rough style, being the best actor, as opposed to at Greece, where staying on one’s turf was part of the act, wasn’t the same thing.

As with Heim’s performance, Cyric’s acting, although better than Shuni’s, still showed flaws.

Tsk tsk~ Cyric, it seems you rise to the occasion!

Hill, the visitor from another world, watched the drama with great enjoyment, but Shaer and Celene were not the same.

Shaer did not show any change, but from her clone, which sat there less lively than before, it was clear her attention was all on Heavenly Mountain now.

As for Celene... she was still contemplating if she could get Artemis to her moon.

”What a pity, William wouldn’t agree to give me an Undead Tribe commander.” Celene stared at the two flawlessly coordinating siblings, saying with a bit of regret, ”These two don’t seem like they’d willingly be separated... Athena, definitely won’t do.

So annoying, I am the Primordial Light too!

Why can’t Apollo’s light survive on my Celene?”

Yours is a cold light.

Theirs is an incandescent light.

If it’s too cold, incandescent lights won’t work.

Hill tilted his head, muttering under his breath.

As for Athena... Hill didn’t even need to think to know she was to fill the vacancy left by Heim.

That guy Heim, had plenty of sailor worshipers.

Although most of these guys are slave masters, they are indeed an important part of the Great Sea of Toril.

There’s no way around it, among those living on the ocean, there are few good people... and the Goddess of the Sea, Ambori, those evil with brains are unwilling to worship her.

Even though the presence of the Undead Tribe has made Ambori’s performance much better recently, once bitten by a snake, you fear the rope for ten years; without a thousand and eight hundred years, the wise ones living by the sea in Toril still won’t follow her.

As for the others, Celene is indeed the best navigator, but she will absolutely not respond to the call of the evil ones.

That Sailor God, although considered neutral, also suffered during the disaster in Chult.

After all, he is weak and can only hide to heal his wounds; no one knows when he will make a comeback... moreover, the Toril people are very pragmatic and rarely would place an existence without immediate combat power on their altars.

Of course, AO actually doesn’t care if the ocean world of Toril stops functioning or not.

However, the existence of the Undead Tribe makes him have to care.

He can accept, only the evil who don’t cause trouble and ships above neutral can freely sail on the sea, but he absolutely cannot accept that everything this time is controlled by the Undead Tribe.

To put it bluntly, the Undead Tribe is still Half-Elf.

Even if the names Tyr, Celene, and Lansendel, even Shaer and Ambori appear in the mouths of the Undead Tribe, everyone knows they were sent to Toril by Coron.

Toril will inevitably still regard them as part of the elves.

AO has put so much effort that the world shifted from the hands of elves, these Eternal Race, to humans, these Short-lived Race, how could everything return to the past?

The so-called Silver Age of the elves has completely ended.

Only the very rapid human Bronze Age is what AO is willing to see... the shorter the life, the more innovative.

After all, long-lived creatures always feel that there’s still time, no need to work so hard.

Since he can’t speak, Hill can only lean on the sofa, carefully thinking about the significance of these few of the Greek Gods to AO... after all, if Hill and the Undead Tribe did not appear in Toril, AO would not have done anything on this revenge path of Asmodier.

Even when past acquaintances died at the hands of Asmodier, he did not have any reaction.

Fortunately, Celene’s mouth is always quite fast.

From her words, Hill speculated Athena’s role... this Goddess of Wisdom is also very skilled in naval warfare.

Think about that Medusa who served as her maid for many years!

Not just anyone turned into a monster can directly block the Poseidon Pantheon and cause rivers of blood.

At the very least, she also knew the depth of the enemy and where the opponent’s weaknesses were to attack so accurately.

And Athena, who can raise even her temple maids so outstandingly, one can imagine how formidable she is.

Only the fleet under her command can compete with the Undead Tribe.

Otherwise, now on the Great Sea of Toril, basically, the sailing and freight routes are dominated by the Undead Tribe.

It can’t really be said to be the Undead Tribe.

It started with the Giant Dragons... such as Terry’s parents and his Mercury Dragon friend.

Especially that Mercury Dragon who always boasts in the Starfall Ocean after earning a lot of money.

This guy would never fly back for free and always took on escort missions.

After taking on so many jobs, he became unwilling to let intermediaries earn that money... the Undead Tribe only took on tasks but didn’t open companies, so there were various agents emerging during that period.

After all, anyone who could enter Agleya and issue a task had to be at least from a neutral faction that hadn’t committed evil deeds.

Even the most brainless Giant Dragon becomes smart in the face of money.

The Mercury Dragon quickly decided to start a freight task company.

Of course, he shrewdly partnered with Agleya’s Lynn.

Although he was already in Aesces at that time, Hill could still receive inquiries from Lynn on this aspect... the connection between Tower Spirits wasn’t cut off.

Hill did not refuse.

He is very clear, the existence of the Undead Tribe is still accidental, the life of the Giant Dragon is the constant.

Then the Mercury Dragon, having received permission, also roped in Terry’s parents... this guy cleverly judged that Agleya allowed him to be so active because he was Terry’s friend.

But friends are not as important as biological parents, right?

With that pair of Golden and Silver Dragons, even if Terry followed Hill for a thousand years, Agleya wouldn’t flip the table because he made too much money.

Then, the oceans of Toril entered a period of rapid development.

The pace was so fast that AO had to intervene and bring back a deity capable of protecting their sailors.
