Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 864: Chapter 660 Friends Seeking Help from Terry

Lynn was just about to leave and reminded Marsha: ”I know Hill’s puzzle lock may be more sensitive to detecting evil, but I hope that after finding that guy, he will send a notice for the Undead Tribe to hunt him down.

I’ll put Chil’s reward amount at the highest level, the Undead Tribe will be very motivated.

In just a few days, they’ve already completed the bounty on pirates, and if they can capture those running wild at sea, there shouldn’t be any problem on land.

If Hill asks, just tell him that the Undead Tribe, without corpses and blood, is very useful against Chil, and can even be said to be the easiest to restrain his kind.

As long as there’s no flesh, that scum can’t sacrifice and summon the Demon Prince to possess him.”

Marsha could sense Lynn’s anxiety and immediately replied, ”I’ll go tell List, he’ll arrange it.”

Hill didn’t actually know what Lynn was worried about. Initially, he thought of letting the Undead Tribe handle that Demon Servant.

If the Blood Pool he saw at Shoulong was disgusting enough, what the Demon Prince’s subordinates can achieve is a hundred times more disgusting than that.

Compared to Hill, of course, the Undead Tribe, whose eyes can block anything blasphemous, is easier to handle such things.

Lynn was really worried and concerned. Since when would Hill personally handle such trivial matters? That Demon Servant seemed strong, but was just around Level 20 Legendary, Hill wouldn’t fancy him at all.

However, if Hill knew the impact Chil had on Lynn, he might really take action.

Although Lynn had never suffered much, he still hadn’t gotten used to one thing: As the Mayor of Agleya, his status was definitely no lower than the Lord of Silvermoon.

Even without mentioning Coron, who always stayed in Agleya City, Hill was one of the most powerful forces in this world.

Being fond of peace doesn’t mean he’s easy to provoke.

So enemies like Chil don’t need Lynn to be so cautious.

The power of the Double-headed Baboon is indeed strong, but it doesn’t mean he would forgo the imminent Blood Battle for a servant that can be discarded anytime to cause trouble for Hill.

As for Lynn’s utmost concern of possession, Hill, who can borrow a bit of the Power of the Sun, could still banish Dimogogan.

Coron’s meaning was quite clear: don’t delve into the secrets behind Dimogogan, that’s a bomb that could easily blow Hill to pieces unless he becomes as powerful as Coron.

But it’s not necessary to care so much, just treat him as a normal Demon Lord, be cautious but no need to be fearful.

The Abyssal Will has a very divided attitude towards Dimogogan.

The Demon Prince’s status in the Abyss has never been that stable, his powers are completely incomparable to the previous Demon Sovereign.

Otherwise, Grazt and the others wouldn’t have had the courage to confront Dimogogan head-on, the Six-fingered Demon Lord is always very pragmatic.

It must be that the Abyss gave him hints that allowed him to deal with the Double-headed Baboon, so a person like Six Fingers wouldn’t hesitate to massively engage Dimogogan directly, and that certainly involves wars deploying billions of Great Demons.

Thus Dimogogan attaches great importance to Blood Battles to regain favor from the Abyssal Will, and he’s present in almost every battle, sending countless cannon fodders.

This is why in recent millennia, the Bottomless Abyss has increasingly valued him. In some sense, only the subconscious Abyssal Will is truly fair, it only favors demons that contribute to its power.

Unaware of Lynn’s concerns, Hill spent an entire day spreading the Water Maze Lock throughout Agleya City and the Forest Cemetery outside.

Although each has the power of their Main God, demons find blaspheming the sacred to be their forte, Demon Lords always enjoy it as a pastime, and a calculated attack without countermeasures often causes small problems.

Hill absolutely doesn’t want any demon nest near his territory, those things are like cockroaches, once they appear, they’re impossible to eradicate.

He frowned and sent a large amount of moss into various underground pipes in Agleya City, only stopping when golden glimmers seemed to appear even in the sewage pipes.

As for Coron, he had long returned to the Alchemy Hall. To him, nothing is more amusing than what the Undead Tribe offers, even viewing through the Seraph’s eyes doesn’t satisfy him. Even AO can’t make him give up that big screen.

Hill had nothing much to say to this middle-aged man who was obsessed with watching short videos, he could only wish him to enjoy.

Fortunately, his current wife is the Triune Goddess, who has no personal feelings for him and seems created just to be a benevolent yet lackingly desirous Matron for the elves.

Hill glanced outside the window. By the notice wall at the entrance of the commercial street, a tall Elven Swordsman added a new poster at the top of a series of bounty images.

Lynn’s movement was indeed quick.

Though for now, the area around Agleya City is still relatively safe.

Honestly, Hill didn’t initially understand why Coron would determine that the servant of Dimogogan would definitely come here; the fact that the Father of Elves always stayed in Agleya City is not a secret.

But perhaps the hatred between Coron and Dimogogan was deeper than he thought, Dimogogan might prefer to disgust the Father of Elves even at the cost of his beloved followers.”

Hill smiled, thinking that the task Coron assigned to the Elven God King back then seemed to have an unusually deep impact...

That he’d protect his foolish son so much, Hill felt he could understand it now!

This is a grudge so profound that even after tens of thousands of years, the Demon Prince still seeks revenge.

Even why Coron dispatched such a figure as the Teraxil Elven God King to undertake this task, Hill could agree with — his other children were all clever and wise; they wouldn’t embark on such important matters without seeking deeper reasons.

Only that fool would believe that being tasked with trailing a Demon Lord and causing trouble was merely because his Dad loved him best and found him a reason to collect benefits.

That’s the normal thing!

Hill knew Coron loved his children deeply, but his almost doting behavior towards the Elven God King was somewhat abnormal.

Even with such a cute daughter like the Dark Maiden, Coron wasn’t that indulgent.

”Hill!” Suddenly, a whirlwind swept down from the sky, and Golden Dragon Taili unexpectedly flew down in his true form.

”Taili?” Hill asked, puzzled. ”Weren’t you going to sleep?”

After looking at the Dragon Language Magic Textbook in Hill’s hands, Taili suddenly felt like leveling up and directly returned to his lair for hibernation.

According to the habits of giant dragons, this growth stage should involve sleeping for 1 or 2 years.

Taili’s huge claws gripped the terrace railing; he first greeted Purwell, who was floating mid-air, then spoke in a deep voice, ”My friend ran into a bit of trouble and sent a message for help.”

Hill was a bit surprised: ”Why did they reach out to you for help?”

”One reason is he’s relatively near here, and he’s well aware of Agleya City’s strength. Another is, if he shows up at my parents’ place, he’ll likely get beaten up.” Taili moved his claws slightly, speaking a bit awkwardly, ”My friend is a Mercury Dragon, a dragon alright, just a bit prone to causing trouble.

When I first left home, I didn’t know anything — fortunately, I met him.

He was worried I’d be captured by humans, so he specially sent me to Silvermoon Forest. Later, I wandered off myself.”

Hill was silent — there’s only one Mercury Dragon in this area known for being troublesome: ”Silver Flame” Tasding Yaloslav.

Are they actually friends?

However... no wonder the Silvermoon Dragon Queen lost track of Taili! Silver Flame is renowned for speed.

”You can invite him to build a temporary nest somewhere in the Sword Mountain Range; the regular Evil Factions around here absolutely wouldn’t dare to cause trouble.” Hill thought for a moment, eventually nodding to allow the poor fellow being chased by a Green Dragon to seek refuge in Agleya City.

Hill knew Silver Flame does have a nest, and it’s supposedly quite hidden, said to be some mage’s abandoned underground laboratory.

But with a mad Green Dragon whose child he killed, if it really found Silver Flame’s nest location, before going on a rampage, it would definitely publicize the location to Dragon Slayers across the continent — Silver Flame probably doesn’t want to expose his true home.

Speaking of Mercury Dragons, they’re actually quite pretty.

Moreover, with Silver Flame’s sort of chaotic nature, he would surely get along with the Undead Tribe — he loves following ships to the sea’s surface to play, but the people of Ferun Great Land consider encountering him unfavorable, merely avoiding him frantically.

But if it’s the Undead Tribe, they would definitely welcome his company.

Hill suddenly felt like sighing — turning it all over, even a Great Demon King like Lansendel could be his friend, surely a slightly mad Mercury Dragon is manageable.

Taili knew Hill wouldn’t think twice about these matters; Tasding, while a bit strange, is still quite normal compared to the Undead Tribe. Truth be told, from recent interactions, Taili always thought the Undead Tribe had only inherited Coron’s madness.

”Wait—” Hill suddenly stopped Taili, ”Silver Flame’s peculiar hobby shouldn’t be taken outside the Dragon Lair. There are still ordinary people in this city.”

It’s said that dragon likes collecting mummy cadavers; Hill, though willing to respect others’ hobbies, couldn’t scare the ordinary city people.

Watching Taili, who was about to leave, Hill said faintly, ”You’ll have to talk to Lynn yourself, don’t expect me.”

Taili stiffly smiled a few times — Lynn is a very dedicated teacher, truly taught him a lot, not just brewing.

Taili also greatly respects him.

But sometimes, the innate nature of a poor student is just tragically such — whenever he feels he’s about to do something wrong, even the thought of his teacher’s name makes him uneasy.

After all, Tasding did come with trouble!

”Lynn is such a gentle person, what are you afraid he’ll do?” Hill said, a bit baffled.

Taili glanced at Hill, then suddenly snorted and flew straight into the sky: Tsk, that’s the face of a top student.
