Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 857: Chapter 653: Ambori Seeking Death

Dancing Dolphin Bay? That’s quite a famous place on the Ferun Great Land!

Although it’s named after dolphins, there’s actually a group of sea elves there who, along with the dolphins, are the masters of that bay.

Additionally, many kind alignment settlements that don’t primarily focus on attack power are on the beaches and nearby hills. After all, the orderly good Dolphin Goddess often incarnates there.

Hill remembers that Dolphin Bay not only has all kinds of migratory birds and dolphins but also many kinds of whales, which Purwell should enjoy as well.

Speaking of which, that place is considered one of the more peaceful spots on the Ferun Great Land. Not even the domain under the Gold Dragon Silver Queen in The North is as quiet. After all, Dolphin Bay is a place just for living without opportunities for great wealth, making it difficult to enjoy life since it’s completely a self-sufficient large village.

Even the Evil Faction won’t cause trouble for two deities over such an unprofitable place.

And Dolphin Bay’s greatest enemy is Ambori. She despises the Dolphin Goddess and constantly sends her Sharkmen there to cause trouble.

But Ambori dares not actually confront Teresina. Although this Dolphin Goddess is rather kind and more adept at using healing Druidic Arts, she has a strong enough husband: Deep Sea · Saixila, the World Master beneath the sea.

Although the Deep Sea · Saixila is often distracted by certain enchanting women, he still loves his wife very much, not to mention he’s the lord of the dolphins.

So the battles in Dolphin Bay are like a farce. When Ambori’s jealousy acts up, she seizes the chance when Deep Sea · Saixila... um... sneaks around with a beautiful girl, sending the Sharkmen to attack Dolphin Bay.

After all, if she wants to know, she can always see what’s happening by the sea. The Lord of the Deep Sea won’t leave the ocean easily, and the Dolphin Goddess doesn’t know as much about her husband’s various dalliances as Ambori does.

When Deep Sea · Saixila arrives on time, it doesn’t matter much. But if he’s a little late, Teresina’s slight, yet not excessive, patience quickly collapses over her husband’s unintentional wandering.

For Ambori, who knows she can’t kill anyone, seeing the Dolphin Goddess go crazy over her husband’s betrayal is pure joy for a whole year.

Hill always felt that the tolerance many of Toril’s deities have for this brainless Goddess of the Sea is solely because she consistently provides the gods with similar comedies, especially Coron, who has always disliked Deep Sea · Saixila.

Hmm... Maybe it’s a rivalry between playboys?

The most hated by a playboy isn’t a traditionalist, but another playboy.

In fact, Deep Sea · Saixila seems to have similar feelings towards Coron; otherwise, he wouldn’t imitate the elves to create sea elves, even though they have slightly better relationships with humans.

Hill pondered. When the Swan Fairies gather at Dolphin Bay, Deep Sea · Saixila shouldn’t appear. Those beautiful swans turned into fairy-like wonders would never be shown to her frivolous and capricious husband by Teresina.

The Little Fairies certainly wouldn’t mind having a romantic relationship with a handsome and powerful deity.

Although Hill thinks he probably has already seen it, maybe even had friendly exchanges if, as Vila said, the Swan Fairies come to Dolphin Bay every winter.

But since the Dolphin Goddess is willing to deceive herself, everyone will cooperate and act as if they know nothing.

Purwell seems to have taken an interest in Dolphin Bay as well. Hill felt his speed increase and smiled as he soared up to the terrace, realizing another day had passed!

He only stayed on the Suolong Continent for a week, experiencing events seemingly more than a year’s worth on Ferun. Indeed, travel troubles are Toril’s norm.

Hill quickly understood why many people say they know where they are once they reach the Great Sea.

Compared to the deep and shallow blue of other oceans, the Great Sea is dark green.

Purwell is heading directly into that line of deep green water from the blue ocean.

The distinct separation, as obvious as it was before them, still made it unimaginable. From above the Great Sea, Hill turned to see that faint blue wave line again.

Blue and green sea waters clash yet rebound to their sides without ever merging into the opposing ocean.

This scene is likely something only the will of deities could create!

Hill cheerfully sat on the sofa on the terrace, admiring the spectacular view before him.

Purwell, too, was captivated by the ocean boundary line, repeatedly crossing between the two in the Little Fairies’ loud squeals. But no matter how large the splash, even jumping into the air and crashing down, the waters never mingled.

The inherently curious Otherworldly Whale got into the groove, and Hill silently floated his sofa into the air, adding a gravity balance spell on the side.

Then he watched as Purwell jumped higher and faster, losing all reason to the Little Fairies’ cheers of ”once more.”

Maybe... some people can ride roller coasters dozens of times in one day isn’t such an exaggerated anime plot! Hill thought dazedly, as long as they have the same abundant energy as the Little Fairies.

When Purwell finally calmed down, the large silver moon above the Great Sea had reached the center of the sky, and Suren’s brilliance shone especially brightly on the ocean. She has always particularly valued her divinity of guiding sailors.

The now content Purwell sheepishly flew up to the terrace from the control center, where Hill lay bored on a long floating couch, propping his chin with one hand as he gazed at the moon.

”Hehe~ Hill.” Purwell awkwardly smiled at Hill.

”It’s alright~ Purwell.” Hill smiled gently, ”Having an enjoyable time is a blessed thing.”

”Mm~” Purwell responded happily, thinking that Hill was truly wonderful! He would follow Hill for all eternity!

”Once we’ve had enough here, we’ll head over to Dancing Dolphin Bay to play.” Hill said with a smile, ”Since you have the map, let’s go see the world’s largest gathering place of migratory birds and dolphins!”

Purwell agreed happily, his massive whale tail swaying, carving a ripple in the deep green ocean.

However, upon arriving at Dolphin Bay, the first thing they saw was not dolphins or whales, nor even any migratory birds, but hundreds of ugly Sharkmen. Next to their towering bodies were thousands of Sahua Fishmen, with tens of thousands of sharks swimming around the perimeter.

Additionally, countless dorsal fins appeared in the bay, and the green arms draped on them proved that the Dolphin Goddess was ready for battle.

Hill barely had time to cast a body-concealing mist on Purwell before the fight started.

The Dolphin Goddess, worthy of being the Archdruid of the ocean, unleashed endless Water Healing Divine Arts, and the enraged dolphins fought valiantly.

The Sea Elves clinging to them made the dolphins incredibly strong, not losing even when colliding with sharks.

However, the numbers of Sharkmen and Sahua Fishmen were still greater, so the Dolphin Bay side was fighting a hard battle despite avoiding casualties.

It looked like this war was turning into a tug-of-war.

Hmm... Is Ambori certain that Deep Sea · Saezelra won’t return anytime soon?

Could this guy’s lover be in another world?

Ambori might not see other worlds, but Sahua Fishmen are scattered across many worlds.

Hmm...

Such an all-out assault on Dolphin Bay isn’t much to the experienced Hill, but the fearsome thing is that these two cooperating forces belong to opposing factions.

Ambori... has she completely lost her mind?

Living in the Abyss, she dares to cooperate with Sekola, the God of Sahua Fishmen who resides in Hell?

Her Sharkmen... hasn’t Sekola always despised them? He always considered sharks his personal possession, yet Ambori, this Abyssal Evil God, transformed followers using sharks.

Haven’t they constantly fought? What does Ambori want?

Even if she fell to become a Demigod, completely becoming the God of Sharkmen, it would give her a better chance of survival than what she’s doing now.

Hill stared, dumbfounded by it all, and could barely react.

He quickly looked towards the deep sea, searching for signs of devilfish, as the Guardian God of these Devilfish is the Demon Prince Dimogogan.

Devilfish Vampires are mostly priests of the Demon Prince, and their greatest skill is draining life energy to provide for Dimogogan. Usually, they seek out Sahua Fishmen as tools.

As followers of the Demon Prince, this choice is hardly surprising, given that Sahua Fishmen have some Power of the Devil in their bodies. Dimogogan, most diligent during battles, is remarkably patient in this matter.

He is even willing to spend thousands of years researching slowly.

So, whenever Sahua Fishmen appear in large numbers, it’s likely that one or even several Devilfish will follow behind.

But... The Double-headed Baboon’s temper has never been good, if he finds out Ambori dares cooperate with the Hell Evil God, Hill guesses Ambori... might be completely finished.

Her Divine Kingdom in Abyss, could it withstand a few slaps from the great Baboon?

What is this?

Hill always considered himself knowledgeable, yet he couldn’t understand Ambori’s reasoning behind these choices.

Neither Hill nor Agleya ever intended to completely destroy her and monopolize the ocean, yet Ambori herself, did she have the courage for self-destruction to apologize to the world?

Hill swallowed saliva, as he’d already seen the giant devilfish lying quietly on the seabed, its over 20-meter length and diamond-shaped black body all telling Hill that this was a very frightening Devilfish Vampire Priest.

This extremely intelligent creature could even serve as the Demon Prince’s advisor and certainly wouldn’t be unaware of the factions battling on the surface.

Dimogogan must have already known.
