Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 859: Chapter 655 Hill’s Journey Comes to an End

Hill didn’t care at all about Vila’s ineffectual rage. Without this talent, he wouldn’t dare to so easily accept the little fairies.

These little fellows were indeed very cute, but if they couldn’t be controlled, it would mean disaster.

When the terrace descended to the top floor of the Magic Tower, the Swan Fairies had already transformed into small human forms. They were all wearing white robes and looked beautiful, and were quickly taken away by other little fairies to share their recent experiences.

Oberon, on the other hand, took the red-haired, green-eyed Swan Fairy Goddess, who was dressed in a robe adorned with white feathers, to the small garden on the ground to have a solemn conversation sitting on a peony flower.

However, their solemn demeanor attracted the attention of all the little fairies, even the shyest Brown Immortal peeked from a corner.

Little fairies had no sense of privacy, and Oberon and Princess Aierla were, of course, used to such onlookers. But when they started talking, possibly discussing some of the actions of the Little Fairy Queen, not only Vila but even the other little fairies began to share their opinions.

Hill saw Vila waving her Magic Wand excitedly, cursing the Little Fairy Queen with her sharp little voice. He suddenly realized that, although she always acted as if she didn’t care about anything, she actually resented being abandoned.

She hadn’t fallen into becoming a Sorrowful and Angry Fairy, probably because of Amanata’s Holy Grail. Staying next to the Divine Sun Artifact likely dispelled all her dark emotions.

Only the Swan Fairies, looking surprised and at a loss, stood on the outermost edge. After all, in their original form, they were a sorority of Rangers who, being kind-hearted, were acknowledged by Princess Aierla and thus were a bit out of sync with the little fairies’ ways.

Hill carefully checked the terrace to make sure there were no more little fairies before having Purwell lift him back up.

Although he didn’t quite approve of the Dolphin Goddess’s way, if those Devilfish continued to target dolphins and sea elves after slaughtering all the Sahua Fishmen, Hill couldn’t just stand by and do nothing.

Kindness isn’t always a mistake, and at least Teresina didn’t demand others to be just as kind.

While ascending into mid-air, Hill noticed the Devilfish’s swift action. In just a short time, not only the Sahua Fishmen but also most of Ambori’s Sharkmen were dead.

There were barely any sharks left alive, and the ocean surface was a mess. Countless corpses floated with the waves, making the scene extremely disgusting, even for Hill, who had seen many bloody battlefields.

Dolphin Bay was even more deathly silent.

Luckily, the Dolphin Goddess wasn’t kind enough to save her enemies, and Hill quietly elevated her status in his heart from a persona non grata to a stranger you could converse with.

The diamond-shaped creatures patrolling the ocean surface, that had just reared up to threaten hundreds of extremely tense dolphins, suddenly descended together, rapidly plunging to the bottom to swim away.

Hill soon learned why. A green sea elf emerged from the water.

The Lord of the Deep Sea finally returned.

Standing above the ocean, holding the Deep Sea Trident, Deep Sea · Saizelra had sea-green skin, blue-green eyes, and freely flowing blue-green hair, all giving off an imposing presence.

Yet his moment of glory didn’t last long.

A massive dolphin, the form of Teresina, rammed into her husband from behind, and the overturned Deep Sea lying on the ocean surface suffered relentless tail strikes.

The high-pitched dolphin cries resounded throughout the entire bay, and everyone who heard could understand the anger and madness in that sound; it seemed the Dolphin Goddess was thoroughly outraged.

Hill tilted his head and thought for a moment before quietly returning to the Magic Tower.

This Deep Sea · Saizelra didn’t get along too well with Coron...

And although he possessed Intermediate Divine Power, sometimes, divine power and strength don’t always align.

Just like the Chromatic Dragon Queen and the Platinum Dragon King, they’re still considered lower rank divine power! Who would dare provoke them?

This seemingly unreliable Lord of the Deep Sea belonged to such deities. He was only interested in the underwater world and didn’t need too mighty a divine power. But still, even after killing many Devilfish, the Double-headed Baboon never thought to challenge him.

The first reaction of the Devilfish upon seeing him was to flee. As Priests of the Demon Prince, they could summon this demon to descend.

Hill thought it better to maintain some politeness, as even if others couldn’t see the Coron blood in him, Deep Sea · Saizelra surely could.

Even knowing that the Elf Deity System might be watching from the Stellar Realm, having a Coron family child nearby was still enough to make him indignant.

Hill flew to near the little fairies’ chatting circle, and both Oberon and the Swan Fairy Goddess looked at him. Judging by their expressions, they were probably just talking about him.

”Deep Sea · Saizelra is back,” Hill stated simply.

The little fairies erupted, ”Did he get beaten up? Did he get beaten up? Go check it out!”

”There are more corpses on the sea.” Hill promptly stopped them, ”Even sharks, it’s disgusting.”

All the little fairies were discouraged, as they have always been unable to tolerate such filthy scenes.

”I wish to return directly to Agleya.” Hill looked at Princess Aierla, ”I wonder if the swan fairies want to come with us?”

”We’ll go with you!” Princess Aierla quickly decided, ”The Lord of the Deep Sea came back too late today; Teresina’s anger will last for at least several decades.

At this time, she will be wary of all the good-looking females; the swan fairies are not suitable to stay here.”

The beautiful little fairy flew to Hill’s face: ”If it’s not too much trouble, I hope Mr. Hill can shelter us. It sounds nice to be a swan fairy, but it’s quite difficult to protect ourselves.”

Hill nodded slightly: ”Of course, Agleya City welcomes all kind-hearted partners.”

He needed to inform Lynn to communicate with the Temporal Artifact and quickly add some animal protection laws for the Undead Tribe, especially regarding giant swans.

Purwell soon began chanting, and a minute later, Hill was back over the sea just outside the port of Agleya City.

”Hill!” Purwell flew out, shouting in surprise, ”So many ships in the port!”

”Let’s return to the Floating Castle first.” Hill smiled helplessly.

If so many ships from other places had indeed come to Agleya, Lynn and Marsha would have contacted List to prepare him. Although Hill doesn’t touch the income of this city, Lynn is still accustomed to telling him first.

Since neither of them had done anything, it could only prove that the ships belonged to the Undead Tribe. Those earnings Hill had exempted for the God of Time and Space since the docks where the Undeads moor were built entirely by themselves, not even using Hill’s materials.

It seems that the space over by the Supreme Forest is still breaking, and Coron could only send the Undead Tribe to the sea.

Anyway, these pirates, regardless of how many hidden protectors they have behind them, are unlikely to have anyone openly protecting them; no one cares about their life or death.

The Undead Tribe might find a life of sailing and combating pirates quite interesting, wouldn’t they?

When Hill returned to the study in the Floating Castle, Lynn was already waiting inside, clearly having a lot to say.

Hill could only enviously glance at the little fairies flying with the swan fairies into the garden, heading straight for the amusement park, a smile briefly flickering across his face: ”Lynn, long time no see, surprised? I came back early.”

Lynn said with a strange expression: ”Actually, I’d have preferred you to go and travel the world without anything happening, even if it meant coming back in a year would be fine.

Acreber’s priest... was just rummaging through ruins over at Mis Zhunuo’s place, and I already found a way to send them a message.

Why is it you again?”

”Actually... it doesn’t necessarily have to be me!” Hill said thoughtfully, ”It only dawned on me today that I have a little fairy by my side who’s quite indebted to Amanata!”

”Vila?” Lynn certainly knew how these little flower fairies had ended up following Hill, and he was well-aware of the cup’s fate.

He remained silent for a moment, knowing Hill wouldn’t give up on Vila, so these troubles could only be borne by Hill himself. However, Lynn believed Hill wouldn’t be that greedy.

The Acreber’s Holy Grail and Amulet, the legacy of the elves always had their memory of them, as revival elixirs, Hill was so indifferent to them he planned to give them away, Lynn didn’t think anything from the Sun God Sect would be enough to make Hill give up his own principles.

As long as he doesn’t get completely drawn in, touching a bit sideways is unavoidable, if Amanata really is resurrected, the entire world will be affected.

The deities of the Shadow Realm would indeed be very furious, even if resurrected, Amanata would still have to pass Shaer’s hurdle first.

Hill nodded with a smile: at least Amanata would now have to rely on his own power to resurrect, Lansendel would not easily become his stepping stone.

He was having such fun in that chaotic world!

If Amanata’s resurrection truly required Lansendel’s involvement, Hill would wait to see how the Tablets of Fate plan to pull him back, but at least the Dawn Calamity would not occur again, Lansendel’s followers are now busy constructing a tower for him in that world.

In that world, due to material instability, there has never been a building over two stories high, yet Lansendel wanted a Dawn Spire like the one in Toril, so recently, more and more Dawn Believers have been going to that world.

However, they are quite happy, as for architects, this also counts as a very interesting challenge, their curiosity was already intense.

Lynn handed over the recent accounts to List, who appeared by Hill’s side for review, and then started talking to Hill about Agleya City’s affairs during this period.

Although only ten days have passed, there have been plenty of matters.
