Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1449: Chapter 747: Assault_2

Zhou Yun said, ”But there’s no way to just leave things empty for a while. I’m about to go to fashion week, aren’t I?”

”Yes.” Zhou Lan laughed, ”You’re right, but I think that going to fashion week now, watching the shows, is quite good for you. Leaving this environment in the country, taking a break.”

Zhou Yun: ”Luckily, this schedule isn’t rushed, so I can be a bit freer.”

”Mm.” Zhou Lan said, ”This time I’ll go with you. After work, we can go shopping together.”

Zhou Yun agreed with a smile.

Zhou Lan: ”I know that what I’m saying doesn’t actually solve the problems you’re facing, but, Xiao Yun, you have to believe me, no matter what happens, it will eventually pass. It might not get resolved, but it will pass. If you meet a bad person, then just don’t associate with them anymore. If you encounter something unpleasant, solve it if you can, if not, avoid it. Escaping may be shameful but it’s useful.”

”I also wish that for things I can’t solve, I could choose to escape.”

Zhou Lan: ”You can. I used to be someone who couldn’t tolerate a speck of dust in my eyes, but now I no longer think that way.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Why?”

”Well, when troubles pile up to a certain extent, you either push yourself to death or simply ignore them.” Zhou Lan said, ”This is a very important lesson I’ve learned over the years.”

Zhou Yun said, ”You’re really open-minded. I’m not that open-minded yet.”

”After all, I’m a few years older than you.” Zhou Lan laughed.

After hanging up the phone, Zhou Yun felt much better.

Just like Zhou Lan said, she actually understood everything.

It’s just that sometimes, when emotions reach a certain point, she needs an outlet.

She knew she needed to stabilize her emotions and not swing back and forth.

In the evening, Zhou Yun unexpectedly received a call from Wen Xi.

Wen Xi said, ”Sorry, Xiao Yun, I just found out Jin Su gave you trouble.”

Zhou Yun was extremely surprised and asked, ”Who did you hear that from? No, don’t mind it, it’s not a big deal.”

Wen Xi’s apology made Zhou Yun feel a bit embarrassed instead.

Wen Xi sighed, and the background on her end was still very noisy, as if she was in a crowded place.

She said, ”Maybe it’s not a problem for you, but I’m still very sorry. I didn’t expect Jin Su to be so bold, to falsely claim in front of others that he had a close relationship with you. No matter what, that’s inappropriate. I’ve already called Jin Su, and in the future, you don’t need to give him a hand on my account. He really disappointed me.”

Zhou Yun didn’t expect Wen Xi’s reaction to be so strong.

She was extremely surprised.

”Wen Xi, although Jin Su’s actions made me a bit uncomfortable, thinking it over, it’s not that hard to understand. You—”

”It’s fine, you don’t have to comfort me. I’m really disappointed in him. I never thought he would assume I was jealous.” Wen Xi laughed bitterly and said, ”Do you know what he said when I called him? He thought I was jealous and that’s why I’m looking out for you more, jealous that your relationship with him got closer, so I was upset and causing him trouble.”

Zhou Yun was dumbfounded hearing this.

”What?”

Wen Xi: ”Forget it, there’s nothing much to say about this, it’s just something between him and me. In any case, I’m really sorry for dragging you into this.”

Suddenly, someone in the background called her name in a strange accent.

Zhou Yun heard Wen Xi say to the person on the other end, ”I’m coming!”

”Do you have something to do over there? You should go ahead and take care of it.” Zhou Yun said, ”It’s okay, Wen Xi, you don’t have to worry about this thing. Don’t mind him, see you in France.”

”Sure.” Wen Xi replied with a smile.

After hanging up the phone, Zhou Yun was still unable to process what Wen Xi had just said.

She wondered what action of hers gave Jin Su the misconception that their relationship could bypass Wen Xi?

Didn’t Jin Su understand that the reason she even invited him to gatherings was because of Wen Xi?

Zhou Yun really couldn’t understand or comprehend.

Jin Su’s way of thinking puzzled her.

...

The D House had a major show held in Paris and invited Zhou Yun.

The appearance fee was substantial, and the organizers greatly valued Zhou Yun’s attendance this time, so they proposed to take care of all her arrangements once she arrived in Paris.
