Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1421: Chapter 739: Keeping Secrets

Ning Yao suddenly remembered something and asked, ”I heard He Wenyun is Wen Bing’s ex-girlfriend, is that true?”

Zhou Yun paused and looked surprised, then lowered her voice and asked, ”Sister Ning Yao, where did you hear this news from?”

Ning Yao said, ”I went to Korea to film and people there said it.”

”Korea?” Zhou Yun was even more surprised.

She knew Ning Yao had previously accepted a film by a big Korean director, but Wen Bing and He Wenyun’s affair—hardly anyone in China knew about it, how come people in Korea know?

Ning Yao saw Zhou Yun’s reaction and knew the news must be true.

She said, ”There’s a movie company in Korea looking to cast He Wenyun. They reached out to her and, noticing I was a Chinese actress, they started gossiping with me. ’Life’ is very popular in Korea, and people are quite interested in Wen Bing.”

Zhou Yun replied, ”This... I really didn’t know, but why are they so intrigued?”

Ning Yao said, ”Haha, actually I’m quite into gossip too.”

At this moment, Ning Yao was lively like a high school girl.

Zhou Yun had never seen this side of Ning Yao.

Zhou Yun said, ”Wen Bing’s relationship with He Wenyun has always been quite confidential. How could those people in Korea know? Could it be that someone on He Wenyun’s side leaked the news? Sister Ning Yao, I have to ask for your help to keep the secret; Wen Bing has never made this matter public, and he doesn’t want others to know about it.”

Ning Yao immediately nodded.

”Okay, I won’t discuss this with anyone else.”

Ning Yao’s attitude made Zhou Yun smile gratefully.

She suddenly winked at Zhou Yun and asked, ”But, Xiao Yun, about you and Song Chi? Can I gossip about that?”

Zhou Yun looked surprisedly at Ning Yao and said, ”Sister Ning Yao, what’s up with me and Song Chi?”

Ning Yao said, ”Nothing, I’m just curious; isn’t there talk going around about you two, when are you planning to get married?”

Zhou Yun was taken aback.

She and Song Chi indeed had already registered, but hadn’t officially held the wedding yet.

Before this, she hadn’t decided whether to make it public.

Now Zhou Yun didn’t know whether to tell Ning Yao the truth.

But upon thinking, this isn’t something that needs to be hidden.

So, Zhou Yun leaned toward Ning Yao’s ear and softly said, ”We’ve already gotten our marriage license, but the date for the wedding hasn’t been set. This hasn’t been announced publicly yet, so please help us keep it a secret as well.”

Ning Yao widened her eyes in surprise, looking at Zhou Yun, visibly delighted.

”Really? You guys have done such a great job keeping it secret! I haven’t heard a single sound about this,” she said.

Zhou Yun said, ”We haven’t gone public with it yet.”

”I know, but no paparazzi caught wind of it? When you went to get the marriage license, no one saw you?” Ning Yao was genuinely surprised.

Zhou Yun smiled.

Just then, someone walked up to them and asked if they could take a photo together.

Zhou Yun and Ning Yao happily embraced each other by the waist, smiling brightly at the camera.

As the two top celebrities of the event tonight, they were the focus of attention.

They actually wanted to continue chatting, but many people came up to talk to them, and soon they were mingling separately amidst the clinking of glasses and exchanges.
