Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1030: Chapter 600: Who Is Your Child’s Father? (Part 4)

Sometimes, being able to play a leading role in something is already a blessing from the heavens.

Zhou Lan and Zheng Xiaojue got on the car sent by the company directly, but Zhou Yun didn’t.

Today, Song Chi came to pick her up.

So, Zhou Yun separated from Zhou Lan and Zheng Xiaojue at the airport.

When Song Chi got out of the car, the first thing he did was give Zhou Yun a hug, and then kissed her on the lips.

Zhou Yun said, ”Out in public, what’s the point?”

Song Chi laughed and said, ”Why care about them? It’s not like we’re secretly dating.”

Song Chi was being more and more cheeky.

He loaded a few of Zhou Yun’s suitcases into the car.

”You get in the car first,” he said.

Zhou Yun got into the passenger seat.

Suddenly, there were flashes in the right front.

Zhou Yun saw a silhouette behind a pillar in the right front.

Probably a paparazzi.

Zhou Yun felt a bit helpless, but she was too lazy to care.

They just took photos of Song Chi picking her up, nothing serious.

Song Chi got in the car and drove Zhou Yun home.

Not having seen each other for so long, the first thing they did after arriving home was head straight to the bedroom.

In the end, Zhou Yun pushed Song Chi’s body away.

”All sweaty.”

Song Chi grinned brightly and said, ”Shall we take a shower together?”

”Stop it.” Zhou Yun got up from the bed and walked barefoot to the bathroom, ”You’re not allowed in.”

Song Chi lay sideways on the bed, watching Zhou Yun’s graceful figure, never stopping smiling, and his eyes kept following her.

After both of them had showered, Song Chi asked, ”Hungry? Want to go out and eat something?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Too lazy to go out, let’s just eat something at home? Is there any food at home? Let me check what I can cook.”

Song Chi said, ”There seems to be nothing at home. I usually don’t eat at home, always order delivery, shall we order in?”

”Sure, let’s order Sichuan cuisine.” Zhou Yun said, ”After staying abroad for two weeks, I want something spicy.”

”Alright.”

Song Chi was responsible for ordering takeout, and Zhou Yun was responsible for... turning on the TV and sat on the sofa.

”Everything went smoothly in the United States?”

He sat over, leaning on Zhou Yun, their bodies cozily together again.

Zhou Yun replied with a sound, and said, ”Met Director Spielberg and Chen Zian, Director Chen even invited me to his studio to look at scripts.”

”Really?” Song Chi said, ”Does Director Chen have a movie for you to act in?”

”I initially thought so, but probably not. Director Chen’s next few films aren’t in Chinese.” Zhou Yun said, ”And Sister Luo Qi also said there aren’t roles for Asians.”

Song Chi: ”Regardless, inviting you to look at scripts means he’s interested in you, has a favorable impression, and wants to collaborate.”

”Hmm.” Zhou Yun nodded.

Song Chi: ”However, Shi Luoqi sent me a script, wants me to act.”

”Ah? Who’s the director?”

”The director isn’t decided yet, she asked first if I’m interested, if I want to act.” Song Chi said, ”I haven’t made up my mind yet.”

”Is the script mediocre?”

”No, it’s just that the script is a sci-fi theme, and the shooting takes quite long, about four months.”

Four months shooting time indeed is long for a movie.

Zhou Yun then understood where Song Chi’s concerns lay.

If Song Chi chooses to act in this movie, including pre-production time and the time kept in reserve, essentially half a year would be occupied.

Zhou Yun asked, ”I can’t help you with this, you’ll have to make the choice yourself.”

”You might not be able to stay out of this, I previously heard from Shi Luoqi, there’s a role in this film that she wants you to play.” Song Chi said, ”Although the screen time isn’t much, it’s roughly a month of shooting.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Sister Luo Qi didn’t tell me about this.”

”It’s not officially started; of course, she wouldn’t tell you.” Song Chi said, ”I told her I want to be involved in the production of this movie, she’s a bit uncertain.”

Zhou Yun understood that Song Chi meant he wanted his company to handle part of the movie’s production.

However...

Song Chi’s Company previously focused mainly on TV production, and in films, Song Chi’s Company hasn’t handled projects of this scale.

Sister Luo Qi’s hesitation is natural.

Zhou Yun said, ”If she wants to invite you, she has to let your company join in.”

”Yes.” Song Chi nodded, ”This movie requires too much of my energy, I need to get more feedback.”
