Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1011: Chapter 595: Video_2

”Song Chi?” Daniel heard this name, fell into thought for a while, and finally reacted, ”Ah, that Chinese person.”

Elizabeth Seren nodded and said, ”Before, when I attended a film festival, a man followed and harassed me, but at that time I didn’t have any bodyguards or assistants around, it was Song Chi who suddenly appeared and helped me get rid of him.”

”Oh, so it was him.” Daniel nodded, his right arm wrapping around Elizabeth Seren’s shoulder, said, ”No wonder you’re so enthusiastic about Zhou Yun.”

”Otherwise? What are you worried about?” Elizabeth asked.

Daniel said, ”What could I possibly be worried about.”

He showed an expression of total indifference on his face.

Elizabeth, however, did not end her suspicions because of this. She knew Daniel, he usually never cared about the female friends around her, but today he asked so much, it was too strange.

Did Gediyah say something to him?

Elizabeth had some doubts in her heart.

...

Spielberg happened to meet Chen Zian, who was also waiting for a ride, while preparing to go home.

The place where both stood was relatively secluded, with no one else around, only their personal assistants.

”Hey, Chen.” Spielberg greeted Chen Zian enthusiastically and said, ”Are you ready to go home?”

Chen Zian nodded.

He was relatively reserved, unlike Spielberg who was so enthusiastic and lively.

But both directors mostly work in the United States, often having the opportunity to meet.

Both have visited each other’s homes, dined together, and have a very good personal relationship.

”The actress named Zhou Yun you recommended to me, she is truly beautiful.” Spielberg said, ”You truly understand what kind of actresses I like.”

”She has a mysterious aura about her.” Chen Zian said, ”Isn’t that the type of actress you like to use? The film you’ve always wanted to make was put on hold because you couldn’t find the right actress. When I watched ’Life,’ I felt she fit the type of actress you were looking for, and after getting to know her personally, this feeling became even stronger.”

Spielberg sighed and said, ”I don’t even know if I want to make it anymore.”

”Lost interest?”

Spielberg shook his head and said, ”It’s not that I’ve lost interest.”

Chen Zian showed a puzzled expression, looking at Spielberg questioningly.

The latter spaced out for a while, not knowing what he suddenly thought of.

Chen Zian said, ”So do you still want her to see the script?”

Spielberg nodded and said, ”Let her read the script first, and I’ll think about it more carefully.”

Chen Zian laughed and said, ”You.”

He said this one sentence in Chinese.

Many people don’t actually know how good the personal relationship is between Chen Zian and Spielberg. When Chen Zian first came to the United States to make films, Spielberg himself liked Chen Zian’s previous films, so he proactively called Chen Zian, telling him he really liked his films and to feel free to contact this number if he needed help.

It’s imaginable how many problems Chen Zian would encounter making films in a foreign country, and during this process, Spielberg helped Chen Zian a lot, solving numerous troubles.

After Chen Zian’s film was released, Spielberg further exerted his influence, recommending his films to everyone.

Thanks to Spielberg’s assistance, Chen Zian developed much more smoothly in Hollywood, USA than other foreign directors.

Spielberg said, ”Xue Qin’s ’Behind the Scenes’ is quite well-made, don’t you plan to help her with a shot at the Best Director nomination?”

Chen Zian said, ”’Behind the Scenes’ is good, but it’s a foreign film, Xue Qin wants to rely on it for an Oscar Best Director nomination which is difficult, better to focus on the Best Foreign Language Film instead.”

Spielberg nodded.

”Actually, I’m not very fond of watching subtitles either.” He seemed quite sentimental.

Chen Zian said, ”’Behind the Scenes’ has an English dubbing version.”

”Dislike dubbing versions even more.” Spielberg directly said, ”Speaking of which, Zhou Yun’s English is quite impressive, rarely heard a Chinese actress speak such good English.”

Chen Zian smiled faintly.

The car finally arrived.

Then the two finally parted ways.

...

Zhou Yun only saw what’s happening on Weibo after returning to the hotel.

Her fans were engaged in an internet conflict, fighting fervently.
