Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1028: Chapter 600: Who Is Your Child’s Father? (2)

Zhou Lan showed a shocked expression, saying, ”Is it really that sensational?”

Zheng Xiaojue cheered, saying, ”Does that mean Elizabeth and Gediyah can’t be friends anymore?”

Zhou Yun shook her head, ”I don’t know what they will do next. I don’t even know exactly what the situation is.”

Zhou Lan said, ”No matter what, Gediyah made a move that offended Daniel and Cristina. Even if Elizabeth wanted to forgive her, Daniel wouldn’t agree. Gediyah now needs to worry about revenge from Daniel and Cristina, especially Daniel. He’s a native of the United States and has been in Hollywood for so many years, riding high. Gediyah is likely in trouble.”

”That’s great.” Zheng Xiaojue said gleefully, ”People like that get what they deserve.”

Zhou Lan asked, ”Xiao Yun, don’t you think Elizabeth is particularly nice to you?”

”Hmm?” Zhou Yun looked at Zhou Lan quizzically, ”Sister Lan, what do you mean?”

Zhou Lan said, ”What I actually mean is that Elizabeth is not someone who is warm and likes making friends. I only recently heard about this; she’s usually quite aloof, but she seems to have a special fondness for you.”

Zhou Yun: ”Are you worried that she’s up to something with me? Sister Lan, what do I have worth scheming over? I’m not active in Hollywood usually.”

”We don’t really know what she’s thinking.” Zhou Lan said, ”I just suddenly thought of it and wanted to remind you.”

This is something Zhou Yun herself has considered.

Elizabeth does indeed seem more enthusiastic and closer to her than others, but whatever she thinks, it doesn’t seem to be a problem.

Maybe she just catches Elizabeth’s eye?

Zhou Yun doesn’t want these negative, dark thoughts to speculate about others or judge them negatively.

If she did that, she would never experience genuine feelings in her life.

Because it’s already very difficult to find someone who absolutely doesn’t have any motives and likes her for being Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun doesn’t hold expectations for such pure connections.

In the following days, Zhou Yun was busy working and didn’t meet up with Elizabeth and the others.

On various news websites in the United States, thanks to the efforts of Paimon and Mélando, Zhou Yun’s various activities and images frequently appeared in the public eye.

Almost every news report mentioned Zhou Yun’s previous hotel attack.

As this is also the most famous incident involving Zhou Yun in America.

Zhou Lan’s inbox receives many business invitations every day.

What surprised Zhou Lan is that there are many offline event invitations from America, and quite a few are events like restaurant openings or mall openings.

As long as Zhou Yun attends for ten minutes, tens of thousands of US dollars would be earned.

Feeling astonished, Zhou Lan rejected these invites.

Zhou Yun doesn’t do small gigs domestically, let alone in the United States.

Zhou Lan set the tone for Zhou Yun, insisting that Zhou Yun follows a ”high-end elite” route abroad.

It means unless it’s a high-standard, elite, top-level event, Zhou Yun doesn’t participate.

This route was determined based on Zhou Yun’s own situation.

Zhou Yun may not have widespread fame, but she came to the United States with the title of the goddess of art films, a top Chinese celebrity.

Invisibly, her standards are high.

The producers in Hollywood, USA, may be driven by money, but they never deny the artistic value of a true artist.

Zhou Yun follows this route.

Whether she can genuinely incorporate the commercial route as her second route in the future depends on her skills afterward.

A week after arriving in the US, two out of three pre-leading award nominations went public, where Zhou Yun was nominated for Best Actress in two of them. Another award, which Zhou Yun hadn’t heard of, placed her as runner-up in the Best Actress category.

This is Zhou Lan’s PR starting to show its effect.

What PR means isn’t bribing judges with money, but creating circumstances on one hand to get more judges to notice the movie ”Behind the Scenes,” to notice the actress Zhou Yun; on the other hand, continually hyping up, hyping up Zhou Yun’s excellent acting skills, her stunning performance akin to a ”brainwashing” effect.
