Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 347: Chapter 302: The Rising Phase: 138

Zhou Yun looked at He Yong and asked, ”Where is President He?”

He Yong said, ”I recommend Yu Zhiyang, Chen Jing, Zhou Jianfeng, Wen Yucheng, and Luo Lu.”

Apart from Zhou Jianfeng, Wen Yucheng and Luo Lu were also signed artists of Chengqian Entertainment.

He Yong’s choice was clear: he prioritized the company’s own artists.

However, He Yong also recommended Yu Zhiyang.

Zhou Yun thought that perhaps the person who sent the greeting had also contacted He Yong.

The next few people gradually mentioned their chosen names.

In the end, only Zhou Yun hadn’t spoken.

Everyone’s gaze focused on Zhou Yun.

In fact, everyone present more or less had a consensus: in the end, it was Zhou Yun who had the final say.

In recent years, no one has risen as rapidly as Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun was like she had been riding a rocket; whether it was popularity or awards, she had gained them all.

In other words, she appealed not only to the fans but also to the market.

Zhou Yun took a sip of water, glanced at everyone, smiled, and said, ”Don’t look at me so seriously, you’re making me nervous.”

With her suddenly saying this, everyone was somewhat unsure of how to react.

Zhou Yun said, ”You all are so professional. I’ve been watching all day and my eyes are dizzy. I finally realize that being an interviewer isn’t easy at all, I can’t even remember people.”

This made everyone laugh.

He Yong said, ”It’s your first time, but you’ll get used to it. We look at resumes and interview people every day.”

Zhou Yun said, ”That’s why you’re my boss.”

Saying this in front of so many people really gave He Yong face.

He Yong was pleased and said with a smile, ”Then, do you have a favorite lead actor? Ultimately it’s you who will be acting with him, and you will be falling in love in the show, so your opinion is most important.”

Zhou Yun shook her head and said, ”Actually, the few people I remember were among the names you all mentioned just now, so I guess I won’t repeat them.”

She said, ”From the auditions, I didn’t really retain any strong impression of anyone.”

Zhou Lan said, ”Then let’s do this: let’s organize another audition for those mentioned just now, so that we can gain a deeper understanding of these people.”

Normally, the audition process also includes several rounds.

Zhou Yun said, ”I support that.”

He Yong nodded, ”Let’s do that then. But, Xiao Yun, you’re starting a shoot in October, so we should get this sorted out fast.”

Zhou Lan said, ”I’ll coordinate with everyone’s schedule and organize the second round of auditions as soon as possible.”

Zhou Yun carefully observed a person named Luo Hengzhang and she noticed that he looked satisfied.

Yu Zhiyang made it to the second round of auditions, so he could report back to the person who reached out.

As Zhou Yun was about to leave, He Yong stopped her.

He Yong said, ”Xiao Yun, can we have a chat?”

Zhou Yun asked, ”What’s up?”

He Yong sighed, looked back to make sure others had walked a distance away, then turned back to Zhou Yun, lowered his voice, and said, ”For the lead male role of this drama, I hope you can give more consideration to actors from our company.”

”No,” Zhou Yun declined bluntly, ”Honestly, apart from Zhou Jianfeng, neither Wen Yucheng nor Luo Lu fit the image of the male lead we have in mind at all.”

He Yong said, ”Anyway, the script isn’t written yet, right? We can adjust the character according to the traits of the actor later on, there’ll definitely be no problem.”
