Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 321: Chapter 277: Rising Phase: 113_2

Shi Luoqi said, ”After this ends, will you have some time?”

”I have a shoot,” Zhou Yun apologized, ”I have already agreed to it.”

”Ah? That’s too bad.” Shi Luoqi said, ”I was actually thinking of taking you to an event. Warren Phoenix is throwing a party; he’s a big Hollywood producer.”

Zhou Yun: ”Thank you, Sister Luo Qi, it’s not very convenient.”

Shi Luoqi patted her shoulder and said, ”Keep it up, I’ll bring people over to watch ’Life’ on its premiere day.”

”Right, thank you, Sister Luo Qi!” Zhou Yun hugged her.

Only then did Shi Luoqi turn around and walk away, but after a few steps, she ran into someone she knew and started chatting warmly.

Zhou Yun was about to return to her seat when suddenly someone called her.

”Xiao Yun!”

Zhou Yun turned around in surprise.

She thought to herself, unfamiliar with this place, yet people keep looking for her.

Turning around, she saw it was Chen Fusi.

She’d been so busy these past few days, meeting too many people, and had forgotten that Chen Fusi was also here.

Zhou Yun smiled happily and said, ”You’re here for the opening ceremony too.”

Chen Fusi smiled and nodded, saying, ”There are more people than I expected.”

”All noisy, all strangers.”

”Right, I’m planning a party tonight, do you want to come and have fun?” Chen Fusi asked.

Zhou Yun shook her head and said, ”I’ve got work arranged for the evening.”

”Work too?” Chen Fusi asked, somewhat surprised.

Zhou Yun nodded helplessly and said, ”Yes, there’s an event for a brand I’m endorsing.”

It was actually the previous commitment with Jinling Jewelry.

Chen Fusi shrugged and said, ”No worries, see you tomorrow night then.”

Tomorrow night is the Chinese Film Night.

”Okay.” Zhou Yun nodded.

”Excuse me.” Suddenly, a blonde woman with a rather sharp voice interrupted them.

Zhou Yun instinctively said sorry and moved aside.

This blonde woman almost barged through between the two of them, hitting Zhou Yun hard on the shoulder.

That force seemed deliberate.

Wearing high heels, Zhou Yun staggered backward, nearly missing a step.

Chen Fusi quickly grabbed Zhou Yun to support her.

”Thank you.” A scary moment passed, Zhou Yun sighed in relief.

She looked towards the blonde woman.

The blonde woman also turned back to look at her, her gaze full of disdain.

Zhou Yun found it baffling.

They were strangers; why did this blond woman have such malice towards her?

As Zhou Yun was wondering, Chen Fusi suddenly stepped forward and grabbed the blonde woman’s wrist without a word, his voice deep and commanding, ”Apologize.”

Zhou Yun was startled.

She hadn’t expected Chen Fusi to do that.

She quickly said: ”Never mind, it’s fine.”

But the blonde woman suddenly became very agitated, trying to shake off Chen Fusi’s hand, angrily saying, ”Let go of me!”

Chen Fusi’s attitude was resolute, unswayed, his face stern, ”Apologize.”

”You’re crazy! Let go of me!” The blonde woman’s voice suddenly rose sharply, drawing quite a few glances from around.

This was the venue of the Venice International Film Festival’s opening, and Zhou Yun did not want to cause a bad impact because of this.

Zhou Yun stepped forward and said to Chen Fusi: ”Never mind, it’s okay, let her go.”

But at this moment, Chen Fusi gave her a reassuring look and said softly, ”Leave this to me.”

At that moment, the venue’s order maintenance staff arrived.

The leader asked immediately, ”What happened?”

The blonde woman took the initiative, accusing, ”These two Asians are not following the rules, they’re troubling me!”

She provocatively looked at Zhou Yun as if saying this was her home ground.

Just as Zhou Yun was about to speak, Chen Fusi calmly told the order maintainer, ”This woman deliberately provoked and almost knocked this lady down. If you can’t handle it, you might call Mr. Bach.”

Hearing Mr. Bach’s name, the expressions of the order maintenance staff changed.

It was like a coded signal, several of them exchanged glances, the leader whispered a few words into his microphone.

Probably someone on the other end gave some instructions; the leader then looked at Chen Fusi, describing Chen Fusi’s appearance.

The blonde woman seeing this, sensed she might have crossed someone she shouldn’t have, her expression becoming a bit guilty, suddenly said, ”Never mind, I don’t care about this matter anymore, I’m going to find my seat.”
