My Alleged Husband

Chapter 2322: Chapter 2155: Arrogant?

Life always makes oneself feel tired, but it’s also a kind of joy.

”Well, as long as they can wake up, it will be a joy for this couple too. They have been through so many storms over the years. If this incident leads them to lose their lives, it’s so unfair to them. Who ever considered their inner feelings? No one knows what they truly want, but as long as they can remain in this world, perhaps that is the greatest comfort. Everyone wants different things, and the outcomes for everyone in this world are different. No matter how much effort you put in initially, if you can ultimately gain a little bit, it is still something worth celebrating!”

”Yes, if they really can’t wake up, then the blow to a child’s heart would be immense. They never considered that. Perhaps every parent has moments of selfishness, but in hurting oneself and one’s family relationships over a selfish matter, it is not worthwhile for anyone.”

”Dad, Mom, do you really have the heart to see your own son in so much pain here? I really hope you can wake up, Dad and Mom are already starting to show reactions, why are you still unresponsive? Why are you hurt more than Mom? I really hope both of you are safe and sound. How great it would be if the person lying in the hospital was me. I am willing to bear all the pain for you, but I am unwilling to see you suffer even a tiny bit of harm. I don’t know why, but slowly deep down I have accepted you.

As long as you don’t get hurt, it seems as if all the pain I suffer myself is no matter at all. I really don’t care about so many things, what I want is really simple, just being able to live simply is the happiest thing for me. I have never thought about what kind of life I would lead, every person is living like this, I live like this time and again. Is what I want really not simple enough?”

Zhang Yichen felt even more excited when he saw Xia Jing’s finger move. He believed his call had a great effect on his mom. He just wanted his mother to wake up and wasn’t worried if his father couldn’t wake up. He believed there was a tacit understanding between them as a couple, one that no one could break. He believed once one person woke up, the other would immediately wake up, because that was something unique between them, something no one could know.

”Mom, you are about to wake up, right? I believe you really don’t have the heart to leave me here alone. You know how hard I’ve had it these years. I can’t endure the blow my parents have given me anymore. As long as you can live, I would face any hardship willingly. Just your safe and happy presence is more important to me than anything. Grandpa has already fallen ill, do you know? You have to wake up quickly, come on, please! Do you know? I’m your son. I’m the son you’ve abandoned for so many years, yet I’ve never hated you!”

Hearing these words, Xia Jing’s finger moved even more frequently. He didn’t know whether it was his subconscious mind or for some other reason. He knew he owed his son, but at this sound, he immediately opened his eyes to see his son.

Over the years, she owed her son so much, she knew best herself. She knew perhaps in this lifetime there’s no way to let her son live the happy and blissful days like before, but she caused it all. Shouldn’t she quickly open her eyes and make up for her child? Really let her child continue to grieve bitterly? If that’s really the case, then what qualifies her to be his mother?

”Mom, open your eyes. Quick, open your eyes. I am your son, waiting for you here.

I have waited here so many days, spent so many days with you. I have never left day and night. All I want is for you to wake up. Don’t you know? How much I long for you to wake up soon. As long as you can wake up, what is it to me?

Don’t let me worry anymore, don’t let me be sad anymore. As long as you can wake up, that’s more important to me than anything else. Wake up Mom, quickly wake up and see me, see your grandson, he is eagerly waiting for his grandmother to speak to him. Quickly wake up and see Grandpa. Grandpa is still waiting in the ward. Because of you, he’s grown old too. Can you really bear to see so many of us carrying all the responsibilities because of you two, one after another ending up in the hospital?”

In this instant, Xia Jing suddenly opened his eyes. He realized how bright it was the moment he opened his eyes. He hadn’t seen the sunlight for so long he couldn’t remember. He had always been living in a nightmare, unable to escape no matter how hard he tried. He could hear his son’s cries, but no matter what, his eyes felt as heavy as a thousand pounds, unable to open them. He was afraid too; he hoped his own eyes could open. He wished he could see his son, see his father. More so, he wanted to hug his grandson. He knew how much he owed over these years. He knew precisely what he owed over these years, all of these things made it impossible for him to escape eventually. He could only rely on his willpower to survive step by step to today. These years, he was so longing, all of it was not fake, but today he finally could obtain all he dreamed of.

The moment he woke up, did he already forget why he fought with his husband? He remembered what he had done, chose constructive business, forgot those most painful things, only knew the happiest memories he once had.

Perhaps this was the best for her, but her son didn’t know, and he himself wasn’t clear why his mind was hazy, couldn’t remember anything. Only after the doctor’s examination did he know she had selective amnesia.

She had already woken up, but her husband did not wake up. To everyone, it was a blow but also happiness. As long as one person woke up, it was happiness. Keep waiting, believe the miracle will continue to happen.

It’s not that I’m arrogant, it’s that you never understood me!
