Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

After confirming the participants in the Demon Tribe’s siege of Akad, Wen Yu felt relieved.

The enemy is clear while we remain hidden, and with a thorough understanding of the enemy’s troop deployment, if Wen Yu still cannot resolve the Demon Tribe, it would indeed be a ridiculous failure.

In fact, if there weren’t bigger demands, Wen Yu could have single-handedly caused turmoil for the Demon Tribe in Battle Zone Africa; even completely defeating them wouldn’t be impossible.

Therefore, three days after the ”siege,” who is to besiege whom remains uncertain.

Moreover, it’s evident that the Demon Tribe doesn’t take the ”little trouble” of Akad seriously; compared to the next matter, Akad seemed trivial.

...

”The second issue is regarding the preset location of the Origin Extraction Device.”

When Koray uttered these words, Wen Yu’s spirit was invigorated, immediately sensing that the greatest reward from this undercover operation was about to unfold.

”Regarding the location arrangement of the Origin Extraction Device, everyone knows we placed it near the East African Rift Valley, surrounded by three large bases forming a defense circle and guarded by the Glory Squad of the Ancient Demons.”

Koray’s first words exposed the preset location of the African Continent’s Origin Extraction Device completely!

While listening to Koray’s speech from Little White’s perspective, Wen Yu took out a map, marking a circle heavily at the location of the East African Rift Valley.

It was worth spending such a long time...

Wen Yu silently sighed in his heart, never expecting that Koray’s subsequent speech would contain even more explosive information.

”We have been preparing for the arrival of the Origin Extraction Device for a while, but progress hasn’t been very smooth. Well, the complexity of this matter, I’m sure it’s not unfamiliar to all of you.”

As soon as Koray finished speaking, the sound of discussions arose from the audience.

This time, without Wen Yu needing to give orders, Little White stepped forward on his own, softly asking his boss.

”Sir, what exactly is this Origin Extraction Device?”

Being a ”refugee” of the original Demon Realm, Little White naturally had to appear as if he knew nothing.

The Supreme Commander of the second collective army of the Skeleton Battalion truly appreciated Little White and conveyed a slight spiritual fluctuation to Little White’s mind, explaining in detail the function of the Origin Extraction Device...

As well as secrets that even Wen Yu didn’t understand.

”The Origin Extraction Device is a special tool designed specifically to extract a planet’s Origin Energy. Due to limited materials and certain special restrictions, the Origin Extraction Device can only be activated at Level 6. Once completely activated, Earth’s Origin Energy will be extracted entirely in a short period. This thing belongs to one of our tribe’s ultimate strategic weapons.”

”So, once the Origin Extraction Device is fully activated, won’t we quickly prevail in the war against Earth?”

The leader of the Skeleton Battalion gently shook his head.

”The trouble lies in the steps before completion. Firstly, the Origin Extraction Device requires very demanding external conditions. So far, our tribe has discovered 10 suitable locations on Earth for the Origin Extraction Device, 4 of which are in the ocean.”

”Furthermore, due to the special material of the Origin Extraction Device, it is easily destroyed by physical attacks, hence the utmost importance of its protection. Ocean locations are not suitable for defense, coupled with our tribe’s current disadvantage against Earth’s Sea Clan, the decision was made to place the Origin Extraction Device on land.”

Ten locations, 4 in the ocean, but unsuitable for the Origin Extraction Device’s placement, leaving six...

The East African Rift Valley, Mount Fuji in Japan, and as observed by the Cathay military, Indonesia, and the Antarctic.

Meaning there are two locations unknown to Wen Yu.

Upon hearing the commander’s explanation, Little White appeared enlightened and then asked dumbly, ”Commander, isn’t it just choosing a location and deploying troops? How can it be complicated?”

”It’s not that simple...”

The commander sighed, ”The complexity lies not with us but above. Little White, you must understand one point: in such major matters, those who hold the power of discourse have never been those of us who are mere soldiers...”

Perhaps the Bone Demon Commander was overly talkative, as he continued to divulge one piece of intelligence after another: ”Current war progress against Earth is not promising. Except for the African Continent, our tribe doesn’t hold a significant advantage on other continents. Nevertheless, in such a major event as the Origin Extraction Device, every battle zone wishes to be the dominant force.”

”Upon success, the Chief Commanding Officer of the dominant battle zone will receive abundant Origin Energy rewards. For a Level 11 powerful expert, nothing is more important than Origin Energy.”

”So... Alas, the preliminary setup here at the East African Rift Valley is actually already completed; among the ten locations, we were the first to complete the preliminary preparations. Currently, only we have completed the preparatory work for the Origin Extraction Device’s arrival!”

”Now, from every aspect, Africa’s conditions are the best! But... you might not understand, though Lord Legas is a Level 11 powerful expert and leads a battle zone, in terms of qualification and power among the seven Chief Commanding Officers, Lord Legas ranks lower.”

”Currently, there are all sorts of disputes, transactions, and alliances happening above; Lord Legas’ days are also not easy...”

The Bone Demon wore a gloomy expression as if sharing a king’s worries with a friend—who knows what good its worries do.

Wen Yu signaled to Little White not to probe too much to avoid suspicion until a few minutes later, when Koray’s cough finally brought the venue back to silence.

”You all have a general understanding of the situation; those who didn’t may have heard others. I will now explain the latest situation.”

”Due to the complete defeat of Battle Zone Asia, locations like Indonesia and Mount Fuji in Japan, overseen by the Black River Sovereign, have been revoked, and you all are aware of the situation in the Antarctic; our tribe didn’t establish a separate battle zone there, and if abnormalities arise, Earth’s creatures will quickly react.”

”The only remaining choices are our Battle Zone Africa, Battle Zone Australia, and Battle Zone American Continent.”

”The day before yesterday, Lord Legas sent a message stating he has allied with the Chief Commanding Officer of Battle Zone American Continent. The backup location of Battle Zone American Continent has automatically exited from competition, leaving only our Battle Zone Africa and Lord Demon Spirit’s Battle Zone Australia.”

”Indeed, just three days ago, the preparations in Battle Zone Australia were completed, meaning the arrival locations of the Origin Extraction Device will only occur in these two places.”
