Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

After dividing the four soul pets into two teams, Wen Yu paid no further attention to their movements—there shouldn’t be any unexpected deviations.

Even though the Level 6 Level Lock had been opened, the battle capabilities of the four soul pets still belonged to the top echelon of this world. In the unlikely event of danger, Wen Yu could pull them back through the power of the Soul Realm space. Coupled with the nine lives contributed by Victor’s new skill, theoretically, Wen Yu could find no crisis that may pose a life-threatening danger to the four soul pets.

So, let’s leave it at that...

Wen Yu put aside the arrangement for the four soul pets and turned to study the current ’serious business.’

The application of the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill.

The Heaven-covering Robe concealed Wen Yu’s aura. Under his manipulation, the dark energy glow on his body gradually dissipated. Aside from himself, there were no visible energy ripples around. The small problem of his figure was eliminated when Wen Yu descended from the sky, switching from flying to walking on foot, erasing the last detail that could expose his presence.

The Heaven-covering Robe provided concealment, combined with Wen Yu’s own cautiousness, made it practically impossible for anyone in this world to pinpoint Wen Yu’s exact location.

His Soul Perception was fully released, and imperceptible soul fluctuations swept over the surroundings. The next second, the scenery within the perceptual range immediately changed.

Different from the original Soul Perception view, after learning the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, Wen Yu’s perception could now capture the ’unusable scattered soul energy’ floating in the air. These gray little light spots floated and drifted, occasionally disappearing into thin air.

This soul energy is derived from the original soul fire of living beings. At the moment of a being’s death, the soul fire extinguishes, leaving pure soul energy that can be directly utilized by soul-type powerful experts (such as Wen Yu’s Soul Battlefield and Almighty Demon Vine). However, more impurities merely scatter in the air, and soon enough, they vanish completely.

In other words, every soul light spot currently in the air was part of a living being just days earlier—the more deaths, the more this energy increases, and correspondingly, the more benefits Wen Yu gains!

Opening his right hand, a large amount of soul energy gathered in Wen Yu’s palm, gradually transforming into energy exclusive to the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill. Once all the light spots were collected, Wen Yu turned and moved on to the next location.

...

Wen Yu hastened his steps, stealthily tracing his way back to the New Hope Assembly Place while remaining invisible.

Along the way, he encountered many Demon Tribe Army units. However, under the concealment effect of the Heaven-covering Robe, these demons were blindsighted, completely unable to detect Wen Yu’s trail.

The closer he got to the New Hope Assembly Place, the more gray soul energy there was around. With the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill in full operation, all this energy was absorbed by Wen Yu. After collecting all the soul energy within the New Hope Assembly Place, Wen Yu looked somewhat greedily at the ground piled with Demon Beast corpses. After a while, he shook his head and turned to head in another direction.

First, thoroughly understand the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, then have a good fight with the demon fiends stationed on the African Continent—that was Wen Yu’s predetermined strategy.

No need to expose his whereabouts for mere demon beast corpses—or rather, for a little physical gain.

Just like that, about a day later, Wen Yu stopped in front of a small hill.

...

The energy exclusive to the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, also known as Creation Energy, gathered in Wen Yu’s right palm, merging with a huge amount of the Light of the Soul, appearing as dazzling as the sun under the Soul Perception view, yet completely untraceable in normal view.

Ignoring the collected soul energy, black light spread from Wen Yu’s body. The darkness energy, like an awl, tunneled into the mound. In no time, a large space had been excavated inside the hill.

Wen Yu then made several concealed ventilation holes, squinted his eyes to perceive the size of the interior space, and after a moment, his body turned into a black light and slipped into the mound through the ventilation holes.

Standing amid the dim yet spacious cave, Wen Yu retrieved some glowing trinkets from his space ring for illumination. Subsequently, he took out a folding bed, tables, chairs, and bench-type items.

An extremely concealed hiding place was thus declared complete.

However, Wen Yu did not want to describe this newly opened space as a hiding place. After much thought, he waved his hand, instantly engraving five large characters on the wall.

”Soul Experiment Lab!”

Looking at the crooked writing on the wall, Wen Yu nodded with satisfaction.

”Not bad, now it finally looks like something.”

...

After setting up the Soul Experiment Lab, Wen Yu finally settled down to thoroughly study the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill in detail.

Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill (species-specific esoteric level, active skill): The origin of this skill has long been untraceable, but in any world, it has been said since ancient times that creation is a deity’s privilege! This skill seizes the authority of deities, exploring the essence of the soul, life, and even all things, then creating everything!

After mastering this skill, the host can absorb all the unusable scattered soul energy around, condense it into the unique energy of the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill. With this energy, the host can modify objects, skills, organisms, and even create objects, skills, and new life forms! In theory, this skill can even create new deities!

Still a vague and intricate skill description, leaving Wen Yu perplexed.

However, after facing two soul puppets in person, Wen Yu already had some basic understanding of this skill.

The fundamental point is the creation of new life forms! Wen Yu was confident that he could achieve this!

Thinking of this, Wen Yu took out two items from his space ring—a piece of purple vine and a piece of unpleasantly looking dead flesh.

These were parts of two soul puppets collected as war trophies after Wen Yu defeated them, set aside for other uses. Now it seemed that though potentially useful, their utility wasn’t substantial.

Feeling the vine and meat block, Wen Yu sighed softly after a moment—the vine is just an ordinary vine, and the meat is just ordinary meat.

From the outside, there appeared to be no special characteristics.

However, the very existence of the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill was to turn decay into miracles!

As two strands of Creation Energy from Wen Yu’s right hand merged into the vine and meat block, they transformed almost immediately under Wen Yu’s attentive gaze!
