Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

”Charge! Charge!”

The demon spawn knight riding atop the demonic beast held up the flail in his hand, surrounded by razor-sharp transparent air currents. He laughed wildly as he charged through the defense line of the Almighty Demon Vine. The horn of the gigantic beast beneath him flickered with dull light, its eyes bright red, as if in heat, ramming straight into the top of the pitch-dark barrier!

With a ”boom,” the horn collided head-on with the pitch-dark barrier! Facing the sudden outside attack, the barrier flickered twice as if the signal was lost, the force rebounding onto Wen Yu, making his chest feel heavy.

Compared to those Level 5 small fry, this demon spawn was indeed much more formidable.

However,

”Still not enough.”

Seeing the giant rhinoceros dazed from the collision and the knight atop it waving his flail, power surged through Wen Yu. In no time at all, he had stabilized the pitch-dark barrier, and immediately the automatic counterattack from the barrier commenced!

Countless sharp arrows of darkness formed out of thin air on the barrier, then rained down like a storm toward the demon spawn knight. Seeing the Ancient Demon spawn knight awkwardly dodging under the assault of the dark arrows, and the Demon Race Heavy Armor Knight Group behind him being pierced and killed like wheat, falling to the ground, Wen Yu decisively shifted his gaze towards the distant Demon Realm’s Gate.

For Wen Yu, the strength of these guys was still inadequate. Even the most powerful Ancient Demon spawn knight might just be on par with an uninjured Cyclops.

The Demon Tribe attempting to break through the defense line set by Wen Yu with a single charge and eliminate the New Hope Assembly Site was simply wishful thinking. Surely the Demon Tribe’s Tactical Commander wouldn’t have such a naive idea, so the current trouble didn’t warrant Wen Yu’s full attention.

The real crisis was still brewing and fermenting within the Demon Realm’s Gate!

Although the African Continent is mostly desert, water is the source of life. Even in Africa, water sources are not scarce—besides the rivers and lakes on the surface, numerous subterranean rivers exist.

Just like the subterranean river excavated by Luo Luo and his ant colony, these subterranean rivers crisscross in all directions, forming a huge network that tightly envelops the African Continent.

Under normal circumstances, these gifts from Mother Earth are the lifelines for Africa’s creatures. Numerous strong and weak life forms take root and survive near these rivers, forming one ecological circle after another. However, when the Plague breaks out, these former lifelines suddenly transform into terrifying grim reapers!

The river water tainted green by the Plague swiftly spreads through the entire African Continent along the subterranean river network. The enticing factors within the water attract mutant beasts to flock to the nearest river.

In fact, the Plague spread by the Third Generation Seed of Plague is phased.

The First Stage involves dyeing the water source green and releasing a peculiar pheromone with indoctrinating effects—this stage has no lethality; the Plague is merely a sugar-coated poison, luring life forms with its sweet aroma.

The Second Stage is the Plague outbreak! At this stage, the Plague directly acts within the life form’s body, rapidly corroding their flesh and bones. The lethality at this stage affects only those lower life forms that come into direct contact with the Plague’s origin.

Then comes the final Third Stage—the Plague Fog!

The Plague within the river water and the corpses of organisms dissolved by the Plague will all transform into misty ashes. These dust-like particles will disperse everywhere along the path of the wind, continuously infecting any lower life forms that inhale the green toxic mist, assimilating them and turning them into even more potent Plague toxins.

During the Third Stage, the Plague no longer relies on water transmission but morphs into the more frightening air transmission.

If no countermeasures are in place, one can imagine the kind of despairing consequences that would ensue—this terrifying Plague, which fears neither purification nor flames, and strictly speaking has no natural enemies, will spread rapidly from the site of the Third Generation Seed of Plague’s demise to engulf the entire African Continent.

And this is not the end—after the African Continent becomes a dead zone for lower life forms, the Plague will still not vanish. It will instead spread swiftly along the water and air to the ocean, islands, and even other continents until it spreads across the entire Earth!

By then, forget about Level 6 Level Locks; even Level 7, 8, and 9 Level Locks might not hold—the Demon Tribe’s utter extinction plan!

However, as Ling said, the confrontation between Earth and the Demon Tribe is not merely mutual slaughter among life forms—perhaps in the eyes of a higher-level consciousness, the current war between Wen Yu and the Demon Tribe’s Battle Zone Africa is merely child’s play.

This is a war between two worlds; it is a confrontation between the wills of two worlds!

In the face of a Plague with terrifying infectious and lethal capabilities, a certain dormant massive will made a passive stress response...

Drifting in the green waters, with sweet syrup in your mouth, there is no need to worry, no need for sorrow; you can even forget your lowly talents, forget your weak strength, forget the oppression and pain you suffer in this naked world.
