Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

```
Although Fang Zheng had long suspected that the system wouldn’t be so kind as to let him live out his days in an ordinary zombie world, after hearing Keiichi Shidou’s explanation, he realized he had been thinking too simply.
If he wasn’t mistaken, this world should be just like the Monster World he had experienced before, a mixed zombie world. As for the reason... it was simple because just now, while Fang Zheng, Natsuse, and Little Hei were out clearing zombies, they unexpectedly encountered a monster with a robust body and incredibly huge hands. If Fang Zheng remembered correctly, that thing should be the Tank from Left 4 Dead...
And now, he had learned from Keiichi Shidou that there were also Lickers and Zombie Dogs...
Then might there also be Witches? Tyrants?
Even other infected mutated monsters from different games or movies?
I knew it wouldn’t be that simple!
After mentally complaining, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but sigh. Those zombies were already troublesome enough, and if it really was like he thought, with this world being a combination of various creatures from Bio-Worlds, who knows how many types of monsters would appear!
If this were a mission world, he would simply unleash the Swarm and bulldoze through... But unfortunately, in the Trial World, Fang Zheng couldn’t summon other teammates...
So what was the main objective in this world?
In the world of Higurashi, Fang Zheng’s goal was to help Rika and the others break the cycle of reincarnation.
In the Fire Dragon’s world, Fang Zheng’s goal was to devour the only male Dragon to gain power.
As for the world of Dark Souls... well, there was no need to say, just fight your way to the end and extinguish the fire.
So what was he supposed to do in this world?
If it were just a simple zombie world, then there would be no pressure for Fang Zheng and the others, but it seemed clear that this Bio-World was not as simple as he had imagined. More importantly, unlike simple games, he must have some goals in this world!
If it were just a regular zombie game, then it would most likely revolve around themes like ”rescue, survive.” But clearly, this was not any ordinary zombie world. Having experienced so many worlds, Fang Zheng noticed a very important characteristic: no matter how outlandish the ”settings” of these worlds are, they are at least ”highly self-consistent.”
Take the Elf World, for example. Elves like Kurumi and Yoshino are hard for humans to confront head-on in terms of strength. Magicians like those from AST can hardly break Elves’ defenses when fighting, but humanity actually came up with the bizarre method of ”dating them, making them embarrassed, kissing them, and sealing them”... If this were a novel, Fang Zheng would have closed the page right away!
And yet, in that world, it really worked!!
So, how about this world?
If this were just the world of Resident Evil, Fang Zheng could go and directly attack the Umbrella Corporation without asking, because everything is their fault. If there’s a virus leak, go find Umbrella; if there’s a biohazard, go find Umbrella; if a child goes missing, go find Umbrella; even if the medicine you took expired, or you couldn’t connect to the internet, you go find Umbrella...
After all, their slogan says it — Umbrella, protecting your family...
But if this is a mixed world, then the cause of this disaster might not be so straightforward. In various Resident Evil movies, the source of the virus is inconsistent. Although most biohazard movies like Resident Evil tend to highlight the zombie virus as man-made, there are also some movies and games where the bio-virus comes from outer space or ancient viruses reawakening due to melting glaciers in the Arctic...
Whatever. Let’s cross that bridge when we come to it.
Putting aside the wild thoughts in his mind, Fang Zheng looked again at Keiichi Shidou before him.
”Speaking of which, you mentioned you and your friend took refuge in a warehouse, didn’t you? Where is your friend now?”
”My friend is still in the warehouse... I promised her that as soon as I found help, I would go back for her...”
At this point, Keiichi Shidou looked anxiously at Fang Zheng.
”So... could I ask you to help save my friend?”
”Of course, no problem.”
Fang Zheng readily agreed to Keiichi Shidou’s request. Up to this point, he hadn’t found his ”main quest” in this world, so for Fang Zheng, anyone who might provide a ”quest trigger” was worth paying attention to. Therefore, he nodded, then turned to look at the others.
```

”So, Tina, Midori, clean up the surroundings... We might need to establish a shelter here for a short period... Natsuse, go through the facilities here and see what else can be used, Little Hei, you come with me to the convenience store...”

Although Kei Shidou’s choice to call for help at the train station was risky, Fang Zheng had to admit the girl had chosen a good location. Since it wasn’t blocked by tall buildings, the view was relatively open, making it easy to observe the surroundings. Moreover, the station was close to shops and supermarkets, and thanks to its well-developed transport routes, they wouldn’t have to worry about accommodation for a while.

And after that...

First, build a base in the rotting kingdom, then think about the road to survival... Speaking of which, Rotting Kingdom 2 is really trash.

After distributing the tasks, having obtained the address and direction from Kei Shidou, Fang Zheng and Little Hei turned and left, leaving only Natsuse and the others behind.

”Then, let’s get moving.”

Looking at Kei Shidou sitting dazedly beside them, Midori spoke softly and then glanced at Tina.

”Tina, the outside is yours to watch, I’ll clean up the surroundings...”

”Alright.”

Tina nodded, then the girl picked up the case with the cello beside her and then to Kei Shidou’s amazement, Tina opened the cello case and pulled out a... gun?!

”Eh? Eh??”

Watching Tina skillfully assemble a large sniper rifle that was even longer than herself, Kei Shidou was so scared she didn’t know what to say. Japan was a peaceful country, where ordinary people might not even see a handgun once in their lifetime if things went as expected. But this girl, she was handling such a large sniper rifle with one hand?!

This couldn’t possibly be a toy gun, right?

As Kei Shidou’s mind was mired in confusion, she saw Tina pick up the sniper rifle and ”bang”—set it up at the window. The loud clanging of metal made Kei Shidou shrink back unconsciously.

A real gun!!

Looking at Tina not far from her, monitoring the surroundings through the scope, Kei Shidou didn’t know what to say for a moment. The girl had seemed very amiable just before, appearing soft and cute. But now, for some reason, when she saw Tina aiming the gun, she felt as if the soft, cute little girl had turned into someone else entirely. Her eyes were so cold that Kei Shidou began to feel nervous.

”That... uh... Tina... little... sister?”

”What’s up?”

Hearing Kei Shidou’s voice, Tina turned around and blinked curiously at her. At this moment, Tina had returned to her original innocent and flawless self, and seeing her like this, Kei Shidou’s nervousness eased a lot. Then, she asked the question that had been bothering her.

”What... who exactly are you all?”

This question had arisen in Kei Shidou’s mind since she was rescued. Initially, she thought her rescuers could be a rescue team, the Self-Defense Force, or even other survivors. But Kei Shidou had never imagined that her saviors would turn out to be a handsome young man and four little girls who seemed to be in elementary school!

If it was just the young man, she could have accepted it, but... these kids being out late at night like this was too dangerous!

Honestly, Kei Shidou still felt she hadn’t fully recovered. She had been scared out of her wits these past few days, as if living a nightmare. Even though she was now safe, just thinking about those terrible zombies made her pale and her legs weak.

Yet these kids, who looked even younger than her, were so composed. Although there were bodies all around them, they were as calm as if they were shopping in a mall!

”Us?”

Hearing Kei Shidou’s question, Tina smiled slightly.

”We’re from Heavenly Dao Palace.”

”Heavenly Dao... Palace?”

Faced with Tina’s response, Kei Shidou’s mind was in disarray—what was that? Some kind of secret organization?
