Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 628: Chapter 193 Purgatory Core_3

Moreover, the patrol team within the star system just wandered around, glanced at Chen Ming’s fleet, and left.

Although Chen Ming did not recognize the people from the Pirate Space Station’s patrol team, they all knew Chen Ming and understood the situation with these cruisers.

Thus, they simply allowed Chen Ming to stay on the edge of the star system.

However, they would certainly pass the news of Chen Ming’s return back.

So Chen Ming definitely has to go back and greet those he knows.

But before returning to the Space Station, he has one more thing to do.

Counting the harvest.

This time, Chen Ming’s primary target was the individuals from the Mechanical Race, meant to expand his own hive network.

Secondly, there was the colonization cruiser of the Mechanical Race, which would definitely be helpful for Chen Ming’s future colonization.

The other gains in the battle with the Mechanical Race were indeed unexpected pleasures.

So now, let’s simply calculate the overall harvest.

The most important are those individuals from the Mechanical Race, totaling more than thirty thousand. All of them have been parasitized by frantically reproducing parasitic organisms, rendering them incapable of movement.

It’s hard to say how Chen Ming managed to cram so many Mechanical Race individuals into two cruisers, but somehow it was accomplished.

Although these parasites have virtually entered dormancy due to the lack of subsequent nutritional supply, while dormant, they can forcibly halt all mechanical activities of the Mechanical Race.

Apart from retaining normal individual consciousness, these Mechanical Race beings have almost become utterly inactive dead shells.

Chen Ming can initially store them in any random place.

Wait until Chen Ming has prepared for controlling the Mechanical Race, then proceed with batch control.

Finally, send these Mechanical Race beings to the city where Chen Ming’s Mechanical Race is located on his planet.

Chen Ming estimates that once he finishes controlling this batch of freshly captured Mechanical Race beings, he should be able to complete the construction of his controlled mechanical hive network.

It will allow him to autonomously produce individual consciousness like the Insect Race network.

Once this is achieved, as long as he can provide adequate material for the Mechanical Race, their numbers can start to soar just like the Insect Race.

Though acquiring this material is a bit troublesome.

After all, the primary material of the Mechanical Race is high-grade metal, White Cloud Steel.

Without a stable producing vein, buying it alone would be financially devastating.

Moreover, Chen Ming’s colonies have not yet found a suitable star system, nor have they begun construction; spending money on the Mechanical Race doesn’t seem ideal.

Thus, the expansion of the Mechanical Race needs further consideration.

But as long as I can produce new consciousness for the Mechanical Race, even if the ones under my control fall on the front line, I can still use spiritual energy to reclaim all materials without worrying too much about losses.

Anyway, everything can be recycled and reused.

As long as the scale of the battle doesn’t exceed the number of Mechanical Race beings controlled by Chen Ming.

Even if it does, it doesn’t matter; besides the Mechanical Race, Chen Ming also has the Insect Race to serve as combat power on the ground battlefield.

Besides the individuals of the Mechanical Race, the most significant gain for Chen Ming this time was the Mechanical Race cruisers.

Apart from the colonization ship Chen Ming took from the ground.

There are also eight cruisers from the second wave of reinforcements sent by the Mechanical Race.

Five of them were shattered in Chen Ming’s meteor fighter sea.

The internal cores of these five cruisers were damaged in the explosions and lost the spiritual protection of the Mechanical Race.

So, the large remaining rubble was previously dismantled into materials and sent to the temporary base, providing a significant supplement for his recently urgently needed White Cloud Steel material.

The remaining three cruisers, though not blasted, had already lost combat capability due to the meteor attacks.

Previously, Chen Ming crudely tied them to several other cruisers.

Then, during the warp, moved them together to the star system where the Pirate Space Station is located.

Previously, since Chen Ming was uncertain about subsequent spiritual power expenditure in combat.

No spiritual power was wasted at that moment to control those three cruisers that have already lost combat and even movement capabilities.

Thus, he did not notice his spiritual energy could not control those Mechanical Race beings.

Now, after slightly testing, Chen Ming found the result to be the same.

Just like the other Mechanical Race beings, these three cruisers are also protected under the spiritual hive network of the Mechanical Race, making control impossible.

However, after subsequent scans by Chen Ming, he discovered that these three Mechanical Race cruisers are combat-type cruisers.

Their internal structure is similar to ordinary individuals of the Mechanical Race; apart from various devices realizing initial design functions, the rest are three cores.

A core chip, a sub-core, and a device storing nanorobots, all upgraded to cruiser level.

Overall, they’re just ordinary cruisers.

Moreover, they are three identical standardized cruisers without special system equipment.

Only the colonization ship is somewhat unique, with significant differences in internal structure compared to other Mechanical Race cruisers.

Anyway, fell into the hands of Dusk, handed over to study.

Let Dusk figure out how to use the Mechanical Race colonization ship, then combine with Dusk’s own colonization method, and the early construction plans of the colony acquired by Chen Ming from the Empire.
