Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 621: Chapter 191 Trap_4

Purely relying on his consciousness and spiritual power to temporarily support the survival of these Mechanical Race consciousnesses.

Saves storage space on his two cruisers.

In any case, Chen Ming’s goal fundamentally is indeed the consciousness of these Mechanical Race, not the bodies of the Mechanical Race.

As long as the consciousness of the Mechanical Race exists, and these consciousnesses have strengthened the hive network to the point where a new individual Mechanical Race consciousness can be constructed, then the problem of the body is actually very easy to solve.

Then what he needs to do next is to control that cruiser.

However, he hadn’t had the chance to disembark yet.

A message that stunned him momentarily reached his ears.

The Dusk entities he sent out, installed on robots, failed when attempting to control those mechanically damaged Mechanical Race.

His spiritual power could not affect the consciousness embedded in the core chip of the Mechanical Race.

He couldn’t control those individuals of the Mechanical Race.

But when the Dusk attempted to interface with the bodies of those Mechanical Race with dead consciousness, they faced no obstacle.

This bizarre situation left Chen Ming stunned for quite a while, making a myriad of disordered thoughts and ideas flash through his mind.

But he had no time to think more, the schemes deployed by the Mechanical Race in the star system wouldn’t allow him time to ponder.

Chen Ming could only temporarily let those ideas remain like a tangled mess in his mind, to be resolved later.

For now, he would first bring these Mechanical Races away on a physical level.

And the cruiser ahead of him, he must personally attempt it himself.

To see why his spiritual energy couldn’t control the Mechanical Race.

Was it the problem with the intermediate Dusk, or was it an issue with his spiritual energy?

Or perhaps, there’s something inherently wrong with these Mechanical Races themselves.

Chen Ming arrived at the exit of the Supreme Point.

A pure white metallic liquid started to flow from his body, also mixed with the bright green of some Insect Race energy crystals.

The White Cloud Steel liquid gradually congealed into the skeleton of a power armor, while the color of the energy crystals gradually solidified on the skeleton, becoming jet black.

In the blink of an eye, on Chen Ming’s body appeared not the set of Flying Locust Power Armor given by Bai Quan, but a unique biomass armor.

The covering of the jet-black Insect Race carapace brought a sense of biological beauty to the armor.

Making Chen Ming at that moment appear not as someone wearing modern single-soldier combat equipment, but as an evolved, fierce insect.

The mechanical auxiliary wings at the back of the power armor were replaced by Insect Race elytra, the edges of the jetpack were also covered in Insect Race carapace, full of the texture of an Insect Race biological spaceship.

This was a complete set of biological armor created by Chen Ming utilizing the biological technology and power armor technology he currently mastered, along with the deep maintenance capability he just acquired.

Combining the various advantages of the Insect Race carapace and the Flying Locust Armor, it virtually crushed the prototype Flying Locust Power Armor in all capabilities.

Also served as an attempt by Chen Ming.

Allowing Chen Ming to see that biology and machinery are not at the ends of the spectrum, they can perfectly combine to achieve things that were difficult to attain separately, reaching heights more challenging than those achieved by individual technologies.

And through this attempt, after previously communicating with the Insect Queen, Chen Ming discovered that even with his deep spiritual maintenance, the Insect Race still had various shortcomings.

These shortcomings are innate to their species, which cannot be compensated for by themselves alone.

Thus, Chen Ming had such an idea back then and conducted an attempt.

The result was evidently successful.

The unique evolutionary ability of the Insect Race and the crystallization of human technology are vividly embodied in the biomass power armor Chen Ming now wore.

Proving that the method Chen Ming chose to compensate for the Insect Race species’ deficiencies was correct.

He will conduct more attempts in the future.

And this biomass power armor is also the basis for his confidence to leave the spaceship in the city of the Mechanical Race.

Of course, another thing giving him confidence is the spiritual energy of the Insect Queen.

To be precise, it is the spiritual energy of the Insect Race.
