Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station

Chapter 622: Chapter 192: Source of Danger

After Chen Ming previously controlled the Insect Race’s biological spaceship, he built a Hive Mind Network belonging to the Insect Race using his Spiritual Power.

He could use this network to receive the Spiritual Power feedback from the Insect Race within the network, providing mental assistance and speeding up his thinking.

This Spiritual Power and mental feedback, after the Insect Queen devoured the Spiritual Fungi and spent more than half a month evolving into a Spiritual Creature, allowed Chen Ming to further utilize his deep repair ability, enabling the Insect Queen to violently evolve through the devouring of Spiritual Creatures. This spiritual energy fully adapted to the Insect Queen’s body and chained onto the Hive Mind Network, resulting in new changes.

The feedback provided by the Insect Race’s Hive Network included more than just the previous two.

It also meant that the Spiritual Energy of the Insect Race could be converted into Spiritual Energy Fluctuations based on the Hive Mind Network, subsequently acting on Chen Ming, who was also within the mental network.

This also meant that he could use the Spiritual Energy of the Insect Race.

As part of the Hive Network, as the builder of the Insect Race’s Hive Network, using the Spiritual Energy within the network wasn’t something excessive.

In fact, Chen Ming, who became a Psychic very early on, using Spiritual Energy would be even more proficient than the current Insect Queen using Spiritual Energy.

The effect of the Insect Queen’s Spiritual Energy is a simple and crude ability to enhance physical fitness through Spiritual Energy.

However, the physical strength of the Insect Race is already formidable, only appearing slightly weak when facing the main units of the Mechanical Race.

Thus, such a newly awakened Spiritual Energy proves less than ideal for the Insect Race with extremely high physical strength.

But for Chen Ming, it is completely different.

Chen Ming’s own Spiritual Energy doesn’t enhance his own body like Yan Xiong or the Insect Race’s Spiritual Energy.

Aside from regular exercise, his physical fitness is that of a slightly fitter ordinary person.

For the strong physical bodies of the Insect Race, Spiritual Energy is ineffective; for Chen Ming’s body, the enhancement is remarkable.

Relying on the conversion of the Insect Race’s Spiritual Power into Spiritual Energy Fluctuations, he felt the sense of power filling his body.

Chen Ming instinctively clenched his fists, feeling a little excited.

However, he knew he couldn’t waste time, so he promptly opened the Supreme Point’s hatch and leaped high directly from the entrance.

Using the biomass jet port on the back of his Biomass Armor, it emitted a pure grey-green tail flame, combined with the strong physical fitness provided by the Insect Race’s Spiritual Energy.

Chen Ming swiftly landed upon the top of the Mechanical Race’s Cruiser.

Just as he steadied himself.

After the external defense weapons were destroyed, the Mechanical Race Cruiser suddenly opened several hatches from which several Flying Mantis and Silent Mantis emerged.

The backs of the Flying Mantis instantly sprayed bright tail flames, rapidly swinging the blade arms towards Chen Ming.

The earlier Chen Ming with his strong consciousness and quick thinking could clearly see this scene, could only rely on physical limitations unable to dodge and counterattack.

However, now, with the pure enhancement of Spiritual Energy from the Insect Race’s auxiliary, Chen Ming, without actual fighting experience, amazingly dodged the attacks from two Flying Mantis.

Nevertheless, he couldn’t dodge the remaining three Flying Mantis’ attacks, he could only take them head-on.

Yet the strong protective power of the Biological Armor received cuts from six Flying Mantis scythe blades without leaving a mark.

The impact from the blade strikes, after going through layers of buffering, was even less than the impact when the little stone occasionally jumped from the bed’s headboard onto him.

To the current Chen Ming, it wasn’t even close to scratching.

He could even rely on the synergy brought by his own and the armor’s cooperated force to directly control and get close to the Flying Mantis beside him.

When Chen Ming attempted to control the Flying Mantis using Spiritual Energy instantly, he found his Spiritual Energy, just like Dusk had done previously to control these Mechanical Race members, unable to take effect.

Chen Ming furrowed his brows but didn’t say much.

He didn’t have time to dwell on this issue now.

He relied on brute force to detach the relatively fragile Flying Mantis’ scythe-armed limbs from weak points, utterly killing this Flying Mantis.

This was purely strength, but the combat capabilities of the Biomass Armor weren’t solely based on brute force.

The arm plates of the Biomass Armor suddenly condensed into claw-like sharp black blades extending forward.

With a black shell fused with various metals, which could easily tear apart the strength of White Cloud Steel, Chen Ming swiftly slashed through the remaining four Flying Mantis like cutting vegetables.

On the Cruiser’s top, the remaining Silent Mantis targeted Chen Ming and fired, but its attacks could not break through defenses.

Chen Ming, after dealing with the Flying Mantis, instantly condensed in his hand an Electromagnetic Spear supported by the energy crystal of the Insect Race, directly hitting their heads. The unstable energy crystal’s explosion resulted in total destruction.

Chen Ming’s heart rate increased; the unprecedented feeling of personally participating in battle excited him.

Although it wasn’t his own ability but achieved through the armor and the Insect Race’s Spiritual Energy.
