Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 326: Chapter 327: Digesting the Multiverse

The pocket dimension greeted him with the same soft light and drifting auroras as before.

Celestia still sat cross-legged on the bed of condensed cloud, silver hair floating gently around her shoulders. The living storm lattice of her inheritance moved through her meridians in slow, perfect cycles—currents of controlled wind and violet lightning that never touched the silk sheets yet made the air around her feel sharper, clearer. Nyla lay on her stomach nearby, chin propped on both hands, the gold-and-crimson curiosity engine flickering restlessly beneath her skin. Every so often she would smile at something only she could feel and mutter a quiet challenge toward the inheritance itself, as if daring it to keep up with her.

Both women looked up the moment Runar reappeared.

Celestia’s eyes were calm and perceptive. Nyla’s carried that familiar spark of curiosity mixed with quiet satisfaction.

”You’re back,” Celestia said simply.

”For a moment,” Runar answered. His voice was the same steady, unhurried tone he always used. ”I’ll be occupied for a while. The scale will be... larger than usual.”

Celestia studied him for a long second, then nodded once. ”Ok. We’ll be here if you ned us.”

Nyla stretched, the movement languid and unconcerned. ”Don’t take too long. We still plan on needing more ’resources’ later.”

Runar stepped forward, brushed a light kiss against Celestia’s forehead, then against Nyla’s lips, and left them sealed inside the pocket dimension without another word. The rift closed behind him as cleanly as it had opened.

Alone in the void once more, Runar floated in perfect stillness.

He closed his eyes.

Then he opened Absolute Comprehension fully.

For the first time since he had stepped outside the Multiverse, he deliberately pushed his perception across the entire structure at once.

The result was immediate and absolute.

Trillions of universes unfolded simultaneously inside his awareness. Every layer, every hidden realm, every sealed dimension, every fragment of timeline that still clung to existence within the Multiverse became readable in a single, continuous flood. Stars were born and died in the same instant of perception. Civilizations rose, flourished, and collapsed. Power systems of every conceivable design pulsed like living veins across the vast body of the Multiverse.

He did not flinch from the volume.

He simply began to digest.

Power systems came first.

Pure martial paths that tempered flesh and will until the body itself became a law. Pure magical systems that treated the world as a canvas of mana and conceptual structures. Bloodline hierarchies that carried the accumulated strength of countless generations. Technological frameworks that rejected cultivation entirely and still reached Multiversal heights through pure science. Soul-based paths, karmic paths, conceptual paths, hybrid abominations born from the Paragons’ long experiments—everything was pulled in without resistance. Absolute Comprehension did not merely record them. It dissected them. Strengths, weaknesses, evolutionary ceilings, hidden potentials, points of failure, points of possible transcendence—all of it was laid bare and absorbed.

Techniques followed in the same endless stream.

Combat techniques that could split universes. Support techniques that could rewrite local laws. Forbidden arts that demanded terrible prices. Sacrificial methods, formation arts, alchemy, refining, puppetry, sealing, spatial folding—every method that had ever been refined by intelligent life was fed into him. Mental arts and soul arts came next: meditation methods that tempered will across eras, illusion arts capable of trapping entire civilizations, memory arts, dream cultivation paths, techniques for splitting or merging consciousness.

Science and technology poured in alongside the more mystical paths. High-tech civilizations that had never touched qi or mana still produced energy theories, spatial engineering principles, weapon systems, and computational frameworks that Absolute Comprehension treated with the same clinical thoroughness. Philosophy and thought systems that had shaped entire cultures’ approaches to power were read and understood. Martial arts and battle arts—from pure hand-to-hand doctrines to army-level war philosophies to assassination methods refined over countless generations—were dissected down to their core principles.

Even the softer fields that still carried conceptual weight were not ignored. Music that could resonate with laws and alter reality. Art that birthed new principles through pure aesthetic force. Literature and stories that had, over time, influenced the direction of entire power systems. Nothing was too small. Nothing was beneath notice.

Everything was fed into Absolute Comprehension.

And Absolute Comprehension understood.

As the flood of knowledge settled into him, the Supreme Principle of Origin Weave began to respond.

It did not simply store the information. It began to weave.

Newly comprehended principles were refined, purified, and restructured into higher-order forms. Redundancies were stripped away. Complementary systems were linked. Contradictions were resolved into more complete truths. The enriched Origin Weave then fed back into Absolute Comprehension itself, sharpening its already terrifying clarity, making the next wave of digestion faster, deeper, and more precise.

A perfect loop formed.

Comprehension enriched Weave.

Weave elevated Comprehension.

The elevated Comprehension then digested even more.

The process was calm from Runar’s perspective—almost meditative—yet the sheer volume of information moving through him was apocalyptic. Entire power systems that had taken civilizations eras to refine were understood in moments. Hybrid paths that the Paragons had patiently cultivated through trillions of reincarnations were read, dissected, and absorbed without any need for death or surveillance.

He did not stop at the present.

Absolute Comprehension continued expanding.

Residual echoes of the past came next—extinct civilizations whose laws still left faint scars across the fabric of the Multiverse, forgotten eras whose power systems had died with their creators, dead universes whose final principles still drifted like ghosts. Runar read them all. Every lost technique, every extinct philosophy, every abandoned path was pulled into the same continuous stream and digested without resistance.

Then the future.

Embryonic paths that had not yet fully formed still cast shadows backward through time. Potential timelines, half-born systems, evolutionary directions that the Multiverse itself had not yet committed to—Absolute Comprehension reached forward and read those as well. The knowledge was incomplete, unstable, still in flux, yet even incomplete knowledge could be understood, refined, and woven.

Finally, the alternate timelines and parallel branches.

Overlapping possibilities that existed as simultaneous truths within the Multiverse’s deeper structure opened before him. Versions of history that had diverged, power systems that had evolved differently under different conditions, hybrid paths that had flourished in one branch and died in another—all of it became readable. Absolute Comprehension did not distinguish between what ”was,” what ”is,” and what ”might be.” It simply read, understood, and fed everything into the loop.

The volume multiplied again.

Origin Weave evolved under the continuous pressure, growing denser, more refined, more absolute with every new layer of knowledge. The self-reinforcing cycle accelerated. What the Paragons achieved over trillions of years through careful management of reincarnators, trucks, and systems, Runar was now accomplishing in a living, unbroken stream—and he was still nowhere near finished.

Time lost meaning inside the process.

From the outside, only a relatively short period passed. From Runar’s perspective, an ocean of knowledge had already been processed, and far more remained. The Multiverse—past, present, future, and alternate—no longer felt like a vast and mysterious realm. It felt like a single, endlessly readable library that he was steadily, calmly consuming.

He did not withdraw his perception.

There was still more to assimilate.

In the sealed pocket dimension, Celestia continued circulating her storm lattice with quiet focus, already beginning to walk a path that belonged only to her. Nyla pushed her curiosity engine further, laughing under her breath at the challenges it threw back at her, walking a path equally her own.

Runar remained in the void, perception fully expanded, the continuous loop of Absolute Comprehension and Origin Weave turning the entire Multiverse into ongoing nourishment.

He stood at a higher vantage point than when he had begun.

And the digestion continued.
