Myriad Heavens: Rise of the Rune God

Chapter 308: Chapter 309: Twin Supreme Principles

The enlightenment had not ended.

Inside the depths of Runar’s soul, the golden-white ocean of comprehension continued to churn with quiet, sovereign intensity. The knowledge he had taken from the Ancient Will, the complete copy of the Rune Sovereign’s inheritance, and every principle he had ever touched were still fusing together under the pressure of his will. What had begun as a simple process of absorption had long since become something far greater than mere cultivation, because the materials being refined inside him were no longer ordinary power. They were memories older than civilizations, laws and principles refined by an ancient supervisor, and the deepest research of a Paragon-level sovereign who had once stood at the edge of transcendence.

At the center of that fusion, a new presence was taking shape.

It did not arrive suddenly. It grew slowly and inevitably from the very core of what Runar had always been. His Heaven-Defying Comprehension — the talent that had carried him through every life, every death, and every impossible wall — had finally reached a threshold that the Multiverse itself could no longer contain within ordinary principle. The talent was evolving. It was transcending the limits of a mere innate gift and becoming something fundamental, something that could no longer be classified as a technique, a bloodline, or even a principle that belonged to the known hierarchy of existence.

The Supreme Principle of Absolute Comprehension was being born.

Runar felt it clearly even while deep in enlightenment. This was not an external power being granted to him, nor was it the leftover blessing of the Rune Sovereign or the stolen authority of the Ancient Will. It was the natural result of everything he had pursued since the moment he first learned to think. He had always believed that with enough understanding, any barrier could be overcome, any law could be deciphered, and any gap could be crossed. That belief had never been empty arrogance. It had been the quiet, unyielding foundation of his existence, the one truth he had never abandoned no matter how cruel reality became.

Now that foundation was crystallizing into a Supreme Principle — one of the rarest and most profound forces in all of reality.

Absolute Comprehension.

The ability to understand anything that existed, and anything that could exist.

The moment the principle began to stabilize, Runar’s perception changed in a way that even his previous enlightenment could not compare to. He did not simply see more truths; he saw the relationship between truths. He saw how the Principle of Runes connected to space, how space connected to time, how time bent under dimension, how dimension gave shape to elements, and how all of those laws ultimately relied on a deeper grammar that most beings would never be allowed to witness. The Multiverse did not become simpler to him. It became legible. Every contradiction became a question, every question became a structure, and every structure became something he could read.

For the first time, even the suppression of the Reliquary appeared to him as nothing more than a sentence written in a language he already understood.

As the embryonic Supreme Principle continued to stabilize, a clear thought rose within Runar’s consciousness.

I now possess Absolute Comprehension... but understanding alone is not enough.

The thought was not dissatisfaction. It was clarity. Comprehension without the power to express it was incomplete. Knowledge that could not be made real was only half a truth. If he could see through every law, every structure, and every principle, then he also needed a way to take that understanding and weave it directly into existence. He did not want to merely read the world. He wanted to rewrite it how ever he saw fit. He did not want to merely understand the gap between himself and the heavens. He wanted to close it with his own hands.

The desire formed with perfect clarity.

The moment it did, the ocean of fused principles and runic mastery inside him responded.

A second presence began to take shape beside the first.

It rose from the complete fusion of everything he had absorbed — the Principle of Runes at its highest depth, the reconstructed Principle of Devouring, the elemental laws, Void Space, Time, Dimension, Analysis, Suppression, and the countless lesser authorities taken from the Ancient Will — all of it drawn together and refined by Absolute Comprehension. The runes that had always been his greatest language became the medium through which understanding could be made real. They no longer served only as symbols describing reality. They became the threads from which reality could be stitched, unraveled, reshaped, and reborn.

The Supreme Principle of Origin Weave was being born.

Where Absolute Comprehension represented the power to understand all things, Origin Weave represented the power to take that understanding and rewrite reality itself. One was the eye that saw the truth of the Multiverse. The other was the hand that could reshape it. One gave him the right to know. The other gave him the authority to act. Together, they formed a completeness that no single principle could achieve alone.

The two embryonic Supreme Principles resonated with each other the moment the second one appeared. They did not clash. They complemented. One fed the other in a perfect, self-reinforcing cycle. Understanding deepened the ability to weave. Weaving created new truths that demanded further understanding. The more Runar comprehended, the more precisely he could weave. The more he wove, the more new structures appeared for him to comprehend. Together they formed something the Multiverse had almost never witnessed: a paired set of Supreme Principles born from a single existence.

Runar remained suspended in the void, golden-white light cascading around his body in steady waves. The dual runic-golden halos at his heart and brain spun with unprecedented harmony, and a faint third resonance had begun to form between them. It was not another halo, nor was it a simple bridge of energy. It was a connection linking his physical foundation, his spiritual foundation, and the two Supreme Principles now taking root in his soul. Through that resonance, his body became more than a vessel. It became the axis through which comprehension and creation could pass into the world.

The Reliquary responded before anything else did.

The broken battlefield around him stopped deteriorating. The fractured space-time that had been collapsing since the guardian’s battle began to smooth at the edges, not because it was being repaired from outside, but because the layer itself had found a new point of order. Residual runes that had once belonged to the Ancient Will drifted toward Runar like loyal subjects returning to a throne. The trial’s broken protocols hesitated, then aligned. The suppression that still covered the layer did not vanish entirely, but it no longer pressed against him with hostility. It recognized the authority he had devoured, the inheritance he had claimed, and the principles that were now being born inside him.

He did not yet know the full consequences of what was happening.

He only knew that the path he had walked since reincarnation had just carried him across a threshold that few beings in the history of the Multiverse had ever approached. Even in the depths of enlightenment, where emotion was refined into clarity, a quiet understanding settled into his soul: whatever he became from this moment forward, he would never again be someone who merely struggled against fate. He would become someone who could define it.

Outside his enlightenment, the broken battlefield continued to settle. The residual fractures of space-time flickered weakly. The Pseudo-Paragon core still rested in the Mysterious Woman’s hand. And a short distance away, the clone of a true Paragon sat in the void, watching him with an expression that had already begun to change.

She had sensed the first Supreme Principle.

Now she was about to sense the second.
