COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Ayano....Ayonokoji-kun, you are really fast!”

Onodera said, who teamed up with Ayanokoji in last year’s grade-wide sports festival to score points in a mixed three-person race.

”You can actually catch up with Koenji-kun. It’s a bit of a pity that we didn’t get first place, but it was still very fast. The naked eye can’t tell your speed!” Onodera was praising him non-stop, jumping up and down on her place with vigor.

It’s just there is nothing to see.

”I’m just lucky.” Even, Ayanokoji seemed very modest.

Although he was just taking care of Onodera in a normal way, something had changed in his heart.

The speed just now was simulated with reference to the speed of Koenji.

In other words, he let it go.

And if he exerts his full strength, then Koenji Rokusuke, can you keep up with him?

Koenji participated in 5 compulsory events this time: 100 meters, 110 meters hurdles, swimming, shot put, and 1000 meters long-distance running.

Once you have completed 5 events, you can start the sixth event.

If you want to obtain the projects that Koenji participates in, you will have to constantly refresh the interface to see what projects he has registered for, and then register accordingly.

But now that Koenji has joined Class A, it will definitely use Class A as a unit and lead the students to carry out group projects.

These are Ayanokoji’s weaknesses.

In this class, it is difficult to find people to participate in team competitions.

The decisive battle cannot be held in an event after the sixth, but must be in 1000-meter long-distance race, in which they must compete with Koenji.

’So, Koenji Rokusuke, can you take on a little more of my strength? I am really looking forward to it.....’

Kiyotaka looked up at the sky and questioned himself.

On podium.

”It’s indeed a Sparky match. Looking at it this way, it’s such a shame that the audience hasn’t come yet even though there’s a very exciting show. But it’s really generous of Hikigaya-kun to ask Ayanokoji-kun to help. What price did you pay this time? It’s not easy to drive a machine like him.”

After all, both she and Hikigaya-kun knew that Ayanokoji-kun came from the white room, and then became ceiling inside.

Her words ”Machine” are really not exaggerated. It’s really what Sakayanagi thinks about him not being a human at all.

He is the big boss of this school.

How could the big boss be invited here so easily?

”I didn’t interfere. Everything is Horikita’s own idea. She is the commander of second-year D class’s game this time.”

’Is that so? Was it Horikita-san who pushed for this?’

Sakayanagi looked towards the second-year class D camp.

After finishing this event, Kiyotaka temporarily returned to his class camp.

There were other students in camp, and all the girls were there.

According to rules of the exam, students could only cheer for contestants in designated areas after they finished the competition.

This consideration of cheering may affect the players’ performance.

As long as you follow the rules, you can participate in the competitions you have registered for.

In fact, you can also give up.

Although will lose 2 points.

However, you can observe the opponent who needs to be observed at this time and then judge situation.

So, students will still be allowed to move around.

’If all this was done by Horikita-san, then as the representative of Class A of second grade, I need to go to and snoop around.’ But before that, Arisu decided to focus on more important things, ”Come to think of it, you seem quite eager to fight today.”

She noticed Hikigaya’s current state.

He is not wearing glasses, that is, he is in the no-glasses state. Glasses will reduce Sakura’s charm, but in many cases they will increase the charm of other people.

Hikigaya-kun is this type.

Wearing glasses gives people a sense of being capable and competent.

”Wearing glasses doesn’t affect my movements. But after all, this is a sports event, so it wouldn’t be worth it if I accidentally broke my glasses.”

”Do all glasses need to be protected like this?” Sakayanagi felt incredible just talking about it. ’Could this be considered boys stuff?’

”All of them.”

Because his glasses were all given to him by girls, it was like receiving a gift from a girl.

It stands to reason that it should be taken seriously.

After all, these girls he knows... are all in this school.

It would be bad if the other party knew that he didn’t care about the gift she gave him.

Horikita had already taught him this lesson.

She asked him why he always wore glasses of other colors. Was he dissatisfied with the black-framed glasses she gave him?

”.....” Sakayanagi learned something new today regarding the opposite sex.

’Is that so? You really love your glasses, then. But this means that Hikigaya-kun is very concerned about protecting his personal belongings. It’s an advantage~~~!’

Sakayanagi feels that even though Hikigaya-kun is not wearing glasses that would make him look mature, she still appreciates his charm.

In this way.

Because the project he was participating in was about to begin, Hikigaya-kun began to take action.

Sakayanagi stared at his figure, then took Kamuro-san back to the base camp of her class.

In the morning, all 13 items of mandatory 5 for selection will be completed.

The time is quite tight, with almost no pause time, and students are very enthusiastic in participating.

Especially since there are several very intense competitions in it.

It attracted a lot of attention from the audience and students.

The same thing happened in the base camp of Class A, Grade 2.

Then, there seemed to be a cry of joy coming from camp of Class 2-D.

”What happened over there?”

In A-class camp, the only student sitting down spoke softly.

The girl sat alone on the chair, her eyes lowered quietly, holding the thin cane in both hands.

Anyone could see that the girl had a problem with her feet.

Looks weak, pitiful and fragile.

However, even though other people’s eyes were focused on her appearance and the figure of her holding the cane, she herself did not show any attitude of caring at all.

Because this is Arisu Sakayanagi, the leader of Class A and the sickly student council president of school.

She is currently sitting alone, and there are other chairs around her, but no one is sitting down.

This is probably a sign of respect for her status.

As students of Class A, they know very well that although this weak-looking princess looked weak, she is more aggressive than a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which is completely opposite to the extremely tall but steady Katsuragi-kun.

Now an hour and a half has passed.

The progress of the 13 mandatory events has reached the seventh one according to rules.

”It was Koenji that lost. He was defeated by Ayanokoji from Class 2D.”

A classmate, Masumi Kamuro, who had just completed her five compulsory projects and was assigned to go out to investigate, said.

”Did he now....?”

”Yes. He and Koenji were in a 1000-meter race. 10 meters ahead. It’s really scary.” Finally, Kamuro-san commented like this.

Because this is not about being 10 meters ahead of other students, but being 10 meters ahead of Koenji.

It is equivalent to being 30-40 meters ahead of ordinary students!

This is horrible, okay?

”However, Luckily, Ayanokoji fell down after crossing the finish line. It seems that he sprained his foot and can’t participate in the event for time being. Otherwise I would be scared to death. Because he has followed Koenji in five consecutive events, with three wins and two losses. If he continues to drag down the score for Class D, then our Class A will be in jeopardy.....”

It even looks like Kamuro-san doesn’t want to talk about it.

”Because Class 2-B also has a very good score.” Kamuro-san croaked her voice a little in pain, ”Next, our class will also have to work hard to improve the score. We can’t let B class climb up.”

”....” Sakayanagi lowered her voice.

If you listen carefully, you can vaguely hear words like ”How boring” and ”Just tell Katsuragi-kun about this, there’s no need to tell me.”

”Sakayanagi?” Kamuro-san didn’t hear clearly.

”...Nothing. I’m sorry that I can’t be of any use in this exam because of my health.”

”No, you’re exaggerating.” A student from Class A said with no face, ”Overall, you’ve brought enough advantages to Class A.”

”Yeah, This kind of exam is still an advantage for us. So there is no need to worry.”

There are ordinary people who are now comforting her after listening to her mutterings for a while.

No need to worry?

It may or may not be true that Ayanokoji sprained his ankle when he was sprinting to the finish line.

Being able to reach a speed that exceeds Koenji by 10 meters is probably not something that can be achieved with normal slacking physical condition, so there is some explosive damage to the body.

But Ayanokoji is a White Room student, and according to Sakayanagi’s understanding of Amasawa, even an ordinary White Roomer can maintain self-discipline.

Therefore, although Ayanokoji did not reveal the full strength of his body, his body was definitely in a state where it could burst out with maximum strength at any time.

So, this injury could be fake.

Therefore, it is hard to say whether Ayanokoji will continue to participate in the next project.

’If he continues to participate, he will do the same project with Koenji-kun. So, Koenji Rokusuke, this proud man, finally lost, and lost without reservation, and then he will lose several more times. Can his proud heart fully accept this result? But if Ayanokoji-kun does not continue to participate in the next project....It is hard to say whether Koenji-kun....If the people who defeated him stopped participating, would he continue? This is a challenge to his self-esteem. As for the class, he is not a person who takes it very seriously....’ So, Sakayanagi is actually not optimistic about future developments.

”Next, accompany me to Class 2-D.”

Sakayanagi stood up holding her cane and said to Kamuro-san.

Before lunch break, she had to meet Horikita Suzune.
