COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

Tonight?

”It’s probably not possible to have dinner together tonight. At the same time, after I finish this, I have to go to shopping street to buy some food. We’ll cook in the dorm tonight.”

???

’Then you are a very busy man. But, what do you mean ”we”?’

Sakayanagi seems to be in a bad mood. However, she also knew that Hikigaya usually had dinner with Horikita Suzune at night.

’To be more precise, Horikita-san cooked for him. So to speak. The state of these two people looks strange... Let’s say they were dating, but there was no other intimate behavior. If you say you are not dating, how can you always go to each other’s dormitory?’

Sakayanagi feels that Hikigaya-kun is a person who cares more about results than love, so generally speaking he won’t fall in love during high school, which is reassuring.

After coming out of the student council, Hikigaya-kun started walking towards the shopping street.

The refrigerator is running out of food. He had to go and replenish it.

Because this is the agreement with Amasawa Ichika. After exam is over, he will cook for her.

This was something they had agreed on from the beginning, and he personally didn’t like to break an appointment.

Hachiman clicked on the message record from an hour ago.

To be precise, when he was still on the stage, while Ichinose-san was greeting everyone, he sent a photo to a specific person.

The content was a timetable for changing wristbands during last uninhabited island test.

Inside is the handwritten signature of Takuya Yagami, who returned to starting point to change his bracelet because it was damaged.

This signature and time can confirm that Yagami was a strong suspect when Komiya and Shinohara were attacked.

After sending this photo, Hachiman quickly received a reply from other party.

[Yo?]

by Ayanokoji.

”.....”

[I have someone who needs to drop out of school. He was protected before, but not this time.

But I’m worried that he might counterattack, so I need someone who can subdue him.....]

Hikigaya-kun sent a message.

[Oh.... Got it. You decide the time and place, and I’ll do it.]

by Ayanokoji Kiyotaka.

It seems he also wants to attack Yagami this time, so he is cooperating like this.

But Ayanokoji didn’t seem to take any direct action either.

The photos sent from Ishizaki Daichi showed that Ryuen-san was beaten like a pig’s head.

Oher side.

Infirmary.

”Your state is a bit scary. Are today’s students capable of fighting on this scale?” Doctor in infirmary felt incredible looking at these boys.

Because several students came in now, and it turned out that everyone had varying degrees of injuries.

Especially one of them with red magenta hair parted in the middle, was beaten into a pig’s head.

??? Why pig?

”We are innocent about this!”

A boy with broken glasses said hurriedly when he found out that he was also included in the fight.

The people who entered the infirmary now were Ryuen, Ishizaki Daichi, Ibuki, Komiya, Shinohara Satsuki, and Yukimura Teruhiko.

A total of 6 people, and all the boys were injured.

Yukimura said quickly, if look at his face, a glass frame was missing, ”We didn’t violate any rules, so please don’t report us.”

”Really?” The doctor looked at him distrustfully.

”We are really passive. We are just protecting ourselves!” Yukimura even gave him a look of pity, and cried a few tears that seemed quite fake.

The results of special exam for this cultural festival are out.

His second-grade class, Class D, ranked last.

Although first-year Class C where Takuya Yagami is located is also at the bottom, Class 2-D has always been concerned about situation of their own class.

To be precise, it means paying attention to your living expenses.

Because bottom score is -300 points.

So living expenses for each person will be -30,000 again.

You know, last month, because of a unanimous special exam and Ike Kanji’s refusal to drop out, class was deducted 300 points.

Now another 300 just...poof! Gone~

Although Koenji no longer charges debt money, the living expenses are equal to number of class evaluation points x 100.

But now his class evaluation score is only over 700 points! That means 70,000 yen for living expenses.

Almost half of living expenses have been lost in two months! Who can accept this?

So, now many students in the class have started to criticize Ike Kanji.

Ike himself also began to explain himself, taking the lead in rushing to make sure that no one got any points in this cultural festival and were instead deducted points.

Now in class group, students began to defend themselves by saying that it was not their fault that they were deducted points again.

Some boys blamed Karuizawa and others, asking why they gave up halfway when they had proposed the maid cafe, so why not just go ahead and build it?

In return, Karuizawa and others also hit back at the boys, saying that milk tea they sold was not good.

The boys plan to sell milk tea directly on day of the cultural festival.

But people were thinking of buying it from the shopping street, but who would have thought that when you went to the damn place on D-Day of the cultural festival, all stores were closed.

The purchase failed directly.

So although Class 2-D was divided into several camps this time, in the end, only goldfish scooping stall had some income, and that was not very high.

So, it’s totally bottom of the list.

The situation in the class is very bad.

If Yukimura and his mates were to be deducted points for fighting, they would also be criticized by their classmates.

This would put him in a bad situation and class in a doom.

So naturally, you should try your best to avoid deductions.

”Let’s deal with them first.” At this time, a slightly tired young man walked in, ”It’s really not their fault this time, and not a violation.”

”Mashima-sensei.” The teacher in infirmary recognized other person.

Head teacher of Class A, Grade 2.

Behind him was a tall and thin man with average looks and bad skin, like surface of the moon.

Sakagami Kazuomi.

”It’s really scary. Why would such a student sneak into our school?” Teacher Sakagami was like a little sparrow at this time, ”It’s a good thing that Chabashira didn’t come just now, otherwise she would be shocked even if she wasn’t injured. I almost felt being killed.”

Because as a teacher, he really encountered a crisis.

Sakagami had a look of fear on his face. Because something really bad happened.

Although he was not injured, Mashima was definitely hurt in face, and Sakagami inwardly thought it was actually okay.

”Sakagami, stop talking.” Mashima said after the wound on his face was disinfected and bandaged, ”I think the chairman will call us over next.”

As he said this, Sakagami’s digital cell phone rang.

”Yes, that’s right, I understand...Okay, we’ll be there right away.” He answered the call digitally and looked at Mashima still handsome face with a hint of envy, ”You’re right, Chairman asked us to come over. Then....”

He looked at Ryuen, Ibuki, Ishizaki Daichi, Yukimura and others who were present.

”Please keep this matter confidential. Each person will receive 100,000 private points as a fee. The points have been deposited into your accounts. Please check.”

Having said this, he and Mashima hurriedly walked towards door of the infirmary.

”I’m sorry, you were also injured because of our matter.” Shinohara said with some concern, because Ishizaki Daichi’s left face was also being bandaged, but Ryuen’s was swollen quite roughly.

”But the scene just now was terrible. You can’t predict who will get hurt.....” Komiya whose attribute is of a pleasing doge comforted Shinohara, ”So I’m glad you’re okay.”

Shinohara looked at Komiya and nodded.

She actually has two suitors, one is Ike Kanji and the other is Komiya from Ryuen’s class.

Originally, it was said that all students in Ryuen class were bad and scary, but after getting to know them more, you would find that perhaps you can’t judge others so one-sidedly.

”.....” Ryuen.

Now he washed his face with cold water to remove the blood stains on his face.

He has had plenty of experience in fights in the past and has been to hospital due to injuries.

But never was it as embarrassing as it is now.

Very strange.

There was a feeling that opponent’s fighting ability was completely different from his.

”So what should we do now?” At this time, the girl with short blue hair checked her phone.

There was indeed a deposit of 100,000 personal points in her phone.

In addition, it was recording.

”The recording I asked you to make is useless. Just follow school’s instructions. There is no need for us to go against board right now. Acc. to current situation, that fucker Yagami will be expelled directly.”

”But-----”

Just now, Yagami declared murder against them, but instead of calling the police, he was taken away by security guards.

There are guards in the school, but they are not that oppressive.

So, new Men in Black...who are they?

’It seems there is still someone protecting Yagami....’ This was really annoying for Ryuen, as he, who was already familiar with the rules of this school, was suddenly exposed to the rules of society at a different stage.

He felt insignificant. His various fighting experiences were completely useless this time.

But he didn’t think he was wrong.

The mere use of violence cannot dermine all victories.

Therefore, he is the final winner.

”In the final analysis!” Ryuen concluded with a bad face, ”It was all caused by that guy Hikigaya Hachiman. There is no reason given to us why Yagami Takuya’s individual combat power is so high!”

”Tsk. Bastard said we can do an ambush, but he just waited until we were all beaten up before coming out!” Ryuen thought so and recalled what happened an hour ago.

The cultural festival was coming to an end, and some students in class went to watch the gymnasium performance project jointly performed by Hikigaya and first-year students.

Ryuen was still in his class.

The school does not publish turnover of each class’s projects in real time.

Ryuen also arranged people to keep an eye on it. The school would go to the students’ booths every hour to obtain information.

At the same time, authority will only go to those projects that were reported before cultural festival started.

In other words, any plan to change the project midway on a whim will not be recognized, and even if product is sold and sales are achieved.

As expected, still have to act according to some rules.

Of course, Ryuen had already confirmed by this time that his class’s turnover was not bad.

Humph, what a boring special exam.

Ryuen feels that things have been going too smoothly lately.

However, at this time, a message was received from Hikigaya Hachiman.

”.....”
