COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

There is no penalty for individuals ranking low in points.

However, Sakayanagi’s class remains the same, and girl should not be able to play, but this time, she will not be able to bring points to class.

Hehe~~

Everyone has 5 basic points, and then participates in 5 events, and can get an additional 5 points regardless of the ranking.

However, her body was unable to participate in the event, so not only did she not receive any extra points, but would also be forfeited at the end of the sports festival due to her...

Then 5 basic points will also be confiscated.

But this time she would not be punished if ranked last.

”Well, then, during these morning trainings, I saw Chabashira-sensei. She would greet us on the first day. And next day, too. But on 3rd, that is, from yesterday to today, she did not come to morning training. So I guess.....Is it because of Hikigaya-kun’s presence that Chabashira-sensei doesn’t come?”

Boom! His brain really got hurt!

Why is it him, Sakura?

What do you mean Chabashira-sensei did not come because she saw two of them together?

Hikigaya-kun immediately looked over.

But Sakura continued to reveal information that made him directly labelled as a pervert, ”Sometimes when people mentions Hikigaya-kun’s name, she seems a little absent-minded. Was it because of the words that sounded like a confession you shouted to Chabashira-sensei from your seat as a student during the cultural festival performance that made her, made her waver?”

Pffff----tt Haha~

”.....” Hikigaya Hachiman.

’By the way, Sakura, weren’t you backstage at that time? How can you still distinguish my voice among so many people?’

”I don’t think it’s that exaggerated. Chabashira-sensei also said that she wants to focus on her current teaching. You’d better not make wild guesses, Sakura.”

’Actually, yes. I was almost conquered by two girls of same type recently. What if a third one came along? But it’s too much to think so.....’ After all, Hikigaya-kun doesn’t think he’s that popular.

So this is probably when Sakura’s 6th sense is wrong.

”Don’t mention it to other people, okay? My image will be ruined further if you did....”

”Right...so, not mention it to Kushida-san, Ichinose-san, Shiina-san, Sakayanagi-san...and Karuizawa-san, there’s also Amasaw----

”It’s Sakura-san, right?”

”Baaahhh!! Who---who is there?”

At this time, a girl who was also doing morning exercises ran over.

Although it is very early, there are other students who want to train.

But this person’s morning exercise is not reliable.

Because this is a cute and sunny senior with long orange hair, Asahina Nazuna. ’I sprained my leg some time ago, and it hasn’t fully healed yet....’

So, she couldn’t do high-intensity morning exercises in this state. Then there was only one reason why she was here.

”Hello, hello--senpai.”

Sakura Airi would always be silent when speaking in front of Hikigaya-kun, but now an outsider actually greeted her.

Immediately became nervous.

”I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” Asahina said quickly, ”I’m Asahina from Class A, Grade 3. I’ve seen you guys training these past two days, and I’m a little concerned.”

She said after looking at Sakura Airi’s heavy figure, ”Sakura-san, you weren’t as strong as you are now, right?”

She actually just stayed aside for a while and stared at Sakura for a long time.

Because no one can dribble the balls she got and run so fast.

”Yeah, yes, it was Kamuro-san from Class A who helped me. Helped me with training.” Junior Sakura didn’t doubt anything else.

”Is that so? Um, can you lend me Hikigaya-kun first?” Asahina revealed her true intentions, ”My class doesn’t have enough students, and it’s a bit dangerous in this sports festival, so I want to hear his opinion.”

”Oh....Oh...Right, right, Isn’t he vice president of council student council now? But, maybe. Yes, that should be it, one of the new candidates?”

Sakura was mumbling to herself, but there was definitely something quite wrong, ”But....then who is that silver haired senpai? Hmm, so curious.”

In other words, are you going to borrow Hikigaya-kun on the condition that you acknowledge his ability?

But now that you’ve said that, how can others not lend it to you?

”Well, then, please.” Sakura said quickly, with a nod in understanding.

Asahina and Hikigaya-kun walked to the side together.

”....How many girls this guy is fucking around with?”

”So... jealous. I want to beat him.”

”No, no, forget it. He’s Vice president, you idiot. What if someone finds out?”

”Hey, I have an idea.”

”What is it?”

”What is it? Yeah, tell us?”

”Shhh...Come here, let’s curse him.”

Hachiman increased his pace a little bit to get away from these dark robes, ”So, competition among third-year students is very fierce now?”

”Ah... yeah.” But Asahina-senpai seemed a little absent-minded with all those comments.

”...” Hikigaya Hachiman.

After entering school, he claimed to be an observer of humans, and immediately noticed that something was wrong with Asahina-san, ”Um, is your foot okay now?”

”.....” Asahina feels like her life is really difficult. Is it going to become dark history now?

In fact, Hikigaya-kun set a little trap here.

Because they were just talking about the important topic of class competition, it would be like changing the subject now.

And for someone who really wants to seek help, must definitely bring the topic back.

”It doesn’t hurt that much anymore...but my current condition still has an impact on strenuous exercise. So I don’t think we’ll get any good results in this sports festival.”

But Asahina seemed to think that saying this would make the other party worried and look down, so she added, ”Ah, of course, my leg problem has nothing to do with Hikigaya-kun, don’t worry.”

This seems to be soothing, but then why is your face red?

However, these words had a different meaning to Hikigaya’s ears.

’That is, since your legs are not fully healed yet, why are you doing morning exercises so early? Since you can’t get good results in the sports festival, you need to conserve your energy and take care of your injured leg instead of coming here to build it....Then, clearly using excuse that they couldn’t deal with class competition properly, but in the end they were all talking about own affairs. That is to say. Asahina-senpai, are you deliberately using the topic of class competition to approach me? So, why is this?’

Hachiman is slowly catching up, but definitely going in wrong direction of course.

”So, why?”

”Hikigaya-senpai thinks 3rd-year Asahina-senpai is contacting you with ulterior motives? That’s really too much. You actually told me about your emotional problems. Then you wanted to get my advice.”

”.....”

In Hikigaya’s room at night.

There was a cute girl with purple twin ponytails lying on his bed, playing with her cell phone while talking to a boy who was busy in the kitchen.

Although they are purple twin tails, this is not Sakura-san, but Amasawa Ichika, a junior in Class A of first grade who has the same hair color as Sakura-san.

She was wearing a school uniform, a summer short-sleeved shirt, but her outfit was somewhat similar to Karuizawa’s.

She also liked to wear shirts of different colors and was not a person who followed the rules.

Now the stockings are taken off.

According to her, Ichika had taken a shower before coming here, so there would be no smell even if she took off her stockings.

”…”

Let her do whatever she wants.

It was already 6 o’clock in evening.

While Hikigaya was busy in the kitchen, he slightly turned his head and looked outside.

Then he noticed that junior schoolmate Amasawa was lying on his bed, and her two white legs were gently tapping the bed.

It was obviously his room, but she seemed quite casual about it.

It was as if she was the master here.

In fact, sometimes Hikigaya would think that it would be better for him to just follow Amasawa.

But can’t feel at ease with either Kushida-san or Ichinose-san.

Moreover, he is not good enough, and the influence of junior on him is mainly a heroic sentiment, so he does not think this is love.

The topic they were talking about now was past two days, when Hikigaya-kun met Asahina and was surprised to find that the other party seemed to have an impression of him.

”I think it’s okay to just leave it alone.” After all, Asahina-senpai is already a 3rd-year student, so she has to leave school. But, Hikigaya-senpai, it seems that you can’t confidently accept that other girls have a crush on you?”

It can be said that she is worthy of being called Ichika Amasawa.

Immediately saw through Hikigaya-senpai’s thoughts.

If you don’t pursue romantic relationships, it means you think such things are unreal, and if you don’t accept other people’s affection, it means you think you may have misunderstood them.

The biggest reason is probably that he doesn’t want to be self-righteous and feel that being popular and liked by other girls may just be his own misunderstanding.

He has no confidence.

So this is why Ichika feels that Hikigaya-senpai is easy to conquer, but also difficult.

A good strategy is that if it meets his requirements, he will rationally choose to accept it.

He was also very stubborn in denying that anyone would like this.

Even now he doesn’t think she likes him.

Eh.....

According to Ichika’s understanding, there are actually quite a few boys and girls in this school who like him or have a good impression of him.

So, based on this, is it surprising that Hikigaya-senpai actually thought girl named Asahina has ulterior motives?

So, even Ichika thinks Hikigaya-senpai is a straight man.

”In fact, girls may have had to sign an agreement with their seniors because of the situation at the time. But marriage is something that will last for most of your life, so even most exaggerated people will think for themselves....Otherwise, if I’m with someone I don’t like at all, how can I kiss him/her in the future? Even if I have to love him/her a thousand times, how can I bear it?”

”So if you didn’t have a crush on Hikigaya-senpai, neither I nor Kushida-senpai would have signed the agreement with you. So, cheer up, you are actually very popular---hehe~! It’s also a headache for me to keep in check.”

”.....” But for Hikigaya-senpai, he frowned.

’I think I should stop reading the novel that Junior is reading recently. Because Amasawa was educated by courses in White Room, and was too busy to learn about things in the outside world. Love is useless, so she definitely didn’t learn it. Her current experience is to often borrow books from the library. If I think about it, I was indeed affected and shouted out some embarrassing words directly.....’

Today, Amasawa didn’t know but she only got her points deducted, and got a little back in line.
