COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Happy birthday, Onii-chan~!”

After Komachi said this, Hikigaya-kun remembered that August 8th was his birthday.

Even after not seeing each other for a year, Komachi is indeed the cutest sister in the world.

She still remembers her brother’s birthday and even prepared a present for him.

”Hey, how was the birthday greeting just now?” Looking at her brother’s silent expression, Komachi was in a good mood.

”Is Komachi scoring high now?”

”Yes, it’s very high.” However, Hikigaya-kun placed his left hand on his sister’s head, ”So, I now specially invite you to my dormitory.”

”Huh?” Komachi didn’t understand his scrupulous words at all, ”Isn’t it too late to think about showing your dorm to your sister now?”

Moreover, during the day, she had been to the student dormitory with Kushida-chan.

According to her, the layout of both boys’ and girls’ dormitories was same.

Although they were not big, were fully equipped and even sound insulation was very good.

The accommodation environment is not bad.

So it can be confirmed that her brother is indeed having a very good time in this school.

So, it doesn’t matter whether she goes to brother’s dormitory or not.

”In fact, you really need to go there. And we also need to ask Horikita-senpai to come over. But I really don’t have any contact with him now...”

Hachiman originally said that since Komachi came here with Manabu, she should have his contact information.

”Ah...wait a minute.”

But now he suddenly remembered that he had obtained Tachibana’s cell phone number before, ”Komachi, did you bring your cell phone?”

”I want to bring it, but it’s not allowed. The registered letter I received from Advanced Nurturing High School said that I can’t bring anything with me. Not only cell phones, but even cameras are not allowed.”

Even though school gates are open, it is still very conservative.

In the past, this school did not have any cultural festivals, let alone any outside guests.

And the reason why school gate was opened this time was probably because of that reason.

An image of a middle-aged man with a polite smile appeared in Hachiman’s mind.

This time, Mr. Tsukishiro is not coming, so can it be understood that he has given up on Takuya Yagami?

Although he saw Ayanokoji communicating with White Room’s instructor during performance at the gymnasium, Hikigaya-kun didn’t think they would take Ayanokoji away directly now.

So, instructor had to return empty-handed this time. Should he seize this opportunity?

Hikigaya-kun and Sakayanagi-san are the same type. They don’t hold grudges, but they will record actions of some people and wait for opportunity to retaliate.

It has arisen.

”Onii-chan?” Hikigaya Komachi noticed that her brother seemed to be distracted.

”Nothing. Let’s go back to the dormitory. I exchanged some cash for you to take back.”

”Hey...money again!”

Although Komachi was surprised the first time Chabashira-sensei came with cash, and then Komachi was surprised when Horikita-nii came with more cash, but now... Onii-chan.

’Are you really okay? Are you really studying, rather than treating school as an ATM machine?’

Komachi was very suspicious.

”It’s a sum of cash. But it’s not safe for you to take it out alone, so I have to ask Horikita Manabu-senpai for help.”

”What a coincidence then. This time I came here in their car.”

Hey, this is really a coincidence.

Hikigaya-kun nodded. He has always believed in the character of Horikita Manabu.

At the same time, he also knew that according to Manabu’s responsible attitude, he would definitely bring Komachi back.

So, it’s just right to escort cash back.

There is no need to even give other party any extra benefits.

He is such a reliable senior. But how can he contact Horikita-nii now? It’s very simple.

Just contact Horikita Suzune.

”Hello?”

”Horikita. It’s urgent. Bring your brother to my dormitory and wait for me. I have something to give to them. Otherwise, I’ll have to delay handing it in until graduation.”

???

”Oh...I will go tell him to come over.”

”Fuck! Student Council President!”

”No, it’s the former student council president! I saw him at school during the day, and he actually came back!”

So, this was when ordinary students of this school were preparing to return to dormitory, but suddenly found the former student council president Horikita Manabu standing at bottom of the dormitory building with a serious expression.

Then some students became uneasy and even dared not to enter the dormitory.

”I was a little surprised.....”

Manabu was downstairs in the dormitory, but Tachibana Akane-senpai, Komachi, and Horikita Suzune came to Hachiman’s room.

Then saw two boxes.

”Could it be.... these two boxes are full of cash?” Tachibana Akane suspected without even giving it a thought with her one head looking up at him.

Because she had transported cash once before, she already had an impression of this type of box. ’But I felt that was unlikely, so I used a joking tone.....’

After all, the last time they were responsible for transporting more than 30 million, how long has it been since then?

5 months!

How is it possible to collect so many points in 5 months and then exchange them for cash?

Moreover, last time there was one box, and now there are two boxes.

Can it be understood that quantity is twice as much as last time?

When Hikigaya-kun contacted Horikita Suzune, Tachibana Akane and Manabu were already at the school gate.

Since they didn’t have cell phones, the two of them were ready to wait there for Hikigaya’s sister to come out of school.

As a result, Manabu was just waiting there, and then saw Horikita Suzune jogging over.

She said that Hikigaya-kun needed their help.

So, came back again.

”Yes. This time the amount is relatively large, so I need your help again. I only trust you with this much amount.”

”.....” Tachibana realised it was not good to be joking at all! Although nice to be trusted, she felt it was directly poisoned.

’Because, pay attention to what you Hikigaya-kun has to say! The amount is relatively large. Is it really that big? Fortunately, Horikita-kun didn’t come upstairs now, otherwise he would have started to get confused as well....Because everyone treats this school as a postgraduate entrance examination, every special exam is regarded as a serious course, and there is even the risk of being expelled at any time. In other words, we are actually afraid of special exams. Just hope not to lose points and not to be expelled. This is mentality of my 3rd-grade Class A. But you, Hikigaya-kun, have been making money in every special exam to send home? This is too outrageous!’

”Did you exchange a lot this time?” Suzune looked at Hikigaya with a pretty calm gaze, as it you are used to dealing with this behaviour.

”O • !” Tachibana’s eyes almost changed shape because she felt like her sister-in-law is very different from last time they met.

”That’s almost most of my points. About 80 million. So, I might be short of money from now on.”

”Is that so?” Although she responded like that, Suzune was still a little moved. ’Because when he was taking the exam on uninhabited island, I speculated that he might have gained a huge amount of points.....But look now. Being able to be exchanged for 80 million means that original private points should have exceeded 100 million....! That is to say. This man is still the same. Even after leaving the class, he is still extremely strong. It’s like...glowing more brightly!’

Just now at the school gate, her brother said, ”Stay with Hikigaya more.”

In other words, her brother probably thinks that she needs to learn more from Hikigaya.

Yes, there are so many things Suzune needs to learn from this man.

In this way.

Hikigaya-kun and Akane Tachibana each carried a box of cash and took the elevator downstairs.

Although she didn’t mention anything, Komachi seemed a little worried.

No one knows his sister better than his brother.

”Is there anything else you want to say?”

”Um...” Komachi actually had a lot she wanted to say for a long minute.

In fact, she was very hesitant at the railing of artificial lake. She wanted to tell her brother that your dream of being a househusband is possible because Sakayanagi said she is willing to take full responsibility for you!

That’s a rich woman!

That person actually likes you!

Komachi also discovered that although Sakayanagi liked brother, his views on marriage were definitely completely opposite to her.

Arisu can only provide her brother with superior living conditions, but...can’t stop him from working.

Therefore, even if you get married, you will get divorced.

Despite this....But Komachi still wants to tell her brother that he is actually liked by others.

This is quite important.

’But now that I see that my brother is super good at making money... I think even if he marries Kushida-nee, they can still live a good life. After all, in terms of economic conditions, Kushida-nee is definitely not a rich woman, but my brother now has financial capital, so if two of them get married, they should be able to live a good life in future.....It’s better not to ruin the relationship between my brother and Kushida-nee or...’

Komachi glanced in the direction of Suzune. ’Well, it’s better not to ruin the relationship between my brother and this super beautiful black-haired big sister either....’

”No.” In the end, Komachi chose to give up, ”Because today I got to see my Onii-chan whom I haven’t seen for a long time. I’m a little excited, but I don’t want to say goodbye. And, I’m in 3rd year of junior high school now, so next year, I think I can try to take the entrance exam for this sch----”

But Hachiman shook his head even before she could complete her word school’ because, ”Generally speaking, ordinary students can’t enter this school. People feel depressed when they are disappointed after having hope. This is the feeling of disappointment when expectations are not met. If you don’t want to experience this, I suggest you don’t have this ideal now.”

”You are so cruel! You actually denied your sister’s idea right away.” Komachi puffed out her cheeks like a hamster who just eat a lot of nuts.

Then she heard brother speak as if he had realized something.

”But this school is indeed a good place, Komachi. I really hope you can come in too. This way you can also earn a small goal, and then collect enough money for your retirement in the future.”

By Hikigaya Hachiman.

O...O Komachi.

So, as a younger sister, Komachi has thought about what to do if her brother still doesn’t want to work in the future.

She has already accepted her fate and feels that she will have to support him in his life. ’But Onii-chan, you hope that Komachi can support herself, right?’

As a result, Hikigaya’s sister’s mood suddenly became unhappy.

Finally, at 16:58, Komachi, Horikita Manabu and Tachibana Akane left the school together and came to parking area planned at the gate.

Horikita Manabu put the cash in trunk and locked the box.

Komachi sat obediently in back seat.

”Why is Akane-nee still giving flowers to the people in car in front?”

Now she and Horikita Manabu are the only ones in car. However, the driver, Akane Tachibana, walked forward holding a large bouquet of flowers.

Um.....

Because there were many off-campus guests this time, and most of them drove here, everyone’s cars were parked together.

Now if Tachibana Akane’s car wanted to move, car in front needed to be moved away.

However, there is no need to send flowers just to ask other party to move their car.

’Tachibana Akane-nee, are you trying to make Horikita-senpai jealous?’

She took a little peek at Manabu’s face without changing much of direction to notice his reaction.

”o ~ o” Manabu’s face looked like he didn’t give a single bit of fuck at all.
