COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

”Chabashira-sensei, isn’t this same sports festival as last year’s all-grade?”

Who are you? Is there someone paying attention in class?

A black-haired girl raised her hand calmly with a straight face.

”What?”

”O O !”

Today’s Suzune is also very cold.

This is only conscience of this class.

Even Hirata-kun did not stood up, judging from cultural festival that just passed, there was a dispute among students, and after he found it difficult to mediate, chose not to.

Obviously.

This child has also made some progress.

The lack of adjustment in cultural festival is probably due to current situation.

”Although this year’s sports meet also involves cross-grade events, it is different from last year’s joint grade team competition. This time, sports festival will focus more on students’ individual strengths.”

Suzune found exam to be good.

But people sitting ahead of her felt more than horrified! Is there no one who can help poor students?

Hirata-kun turned around feeling that class seem to be depressed in an instant, it’s really not easy to be with in same room with Horikita-san, ”In the cultural festival that just passed, our class came in last, and we were deducted 300 evaluation points, which means that everyone lost 30,000 in living expenses. I think everyone should have learned the importance of unity and cooperation.”

What big words are you talking about?

”So, in order to prevent our living expenses from decreasing, let’s all work together in this sports festival!”

Um....From this perspective, Hirata has indeed made some progress.

Using living expenses to motivate everyone is not a radical idea, but it is... rotten.

But this class can only be messed up.

Chabashira noticed that after information was passed on, one student’s reaction was strange.

This was first time she found other party so positive.

Because Chabashira saw Horikita Suzune stand up and look in the direction of, ”Kushida-san.”

Having said this, she sat down.

It looks weird.

But according to the understanding of an old hand like Chabashira, there must be something wrong.

It’s actually not difficult to understand.

”....ah? Oye look!”

”What? Is something rising?”

”No, damn it. The first-place prize is 2 million personal points or... a class transfer voucher!”

Soon, a boy said something that shook all the students.

Because, class transfer voucher means that you can leave home! You don’t even have to pay, the school will pay for it.

Then all students in Class D of the second grade became well behaved and started to check the specific rules of this sports festival.

It consisted of various events, in which students from all grades participated.

Focus was mainly on class wars and display of individual strength.

The sports festival will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 27th, with a break from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Students participate in freely chosen events to earn points, and compete as a class for the total score.

According to rules, each student will get 5 points at beginning of the sports festival and then must participate in five different types of competitions.

After registering and attending the event on the day, you can get 1 point of participation encouragement.

Then....Each project has a ranking reward, and students who get a ranking can get extra points.

For example, in the five mandatory events, first place gets 5 points, the second place gets 3 points, and third place gets 1 point.

This is a compulsory test for every student. And rewards are fixed. Only the top three will win.

Then comes additional explanation.

1 Registration is allowed for the sixth and subsequent events, but each entry requires 1 point (and no participation incentive will be paid in these events).

2 Each person can participate in up to ten events.

3 If you finish the sports festival before you have participated in five events, all points you have earned will be forfeited.

4 Unless there are compelling reasons, if you do not participate in the competition you have registered for or give up, you will lose two points.

5. Students who have completed the competition should help refuel in several designated areas.

It seems to be more formal.

”Teacher, what are competition items after the sixth event?” Karuizawa stood up and said at this time.

This is also the student in this class who pays special attention to every special exam.

She often stand up at times like this and ask the questions that everyone wants to know.

”The 6th and subsequent competitions...well, how should I explain in normal words for you.”

”× O” Karuizawa felt being looked down upon. It’s just like her tutoring sessions with.... Horikita-san!

”Competitions can be roughly divided into two types. The first is so-called basic competition. In this anyone can participate. All basic competitions have fixed rewards. The first place gets five points, the second place gets three points, and 3rd place gets one point. And this type of competition is one of five events that you must participate in.”

”There are quite a few basic competitions, so if you want to participate in the sixth or seventh event, you can continue to participate.”

”It should be noted that you cannot participate in the same event repeatedly.”

”In addition to the basic competition, there is also a team event. This is a competition that can only be participated by two or more people.”

”The rewards for team competitions are set relatively high, and all members of participating teams will receive equal points. The team’s score will also be adjusted according to the different events participated in.”

”• •”

”For example, in the men’s and women’s three-legged race you participated in last year, first place got 10 points, second place 6 points, and third got 3 points.”

”But if it was horseback battle you participated in last year, because there were four people in a group, first place would get 20 points, second place would get 12 points, and rest of the losers would get no points.”

”And if it’s a simple volleyball game, because there are only two teams playing against each other, winner gets 10 points, and loser gets no points.”

In other words, it is more flexible.

Although it seems that scores given out are higher, the highest score given to one person is still 5 points.

But because it is a group team, you can bring your classmates and get high scores.

For example, if students in your class participate in a horse-riding battle and get 20 points, then they can bring 20 points to class.

It becomes very important in the final competition of total class scores.

”For the five required events, you need to register using a tablet before the 25th.”

”As for those who want to pay points to participate in sixth and subsequent competitions, it all depends on the choice of the individual and class, which means they can decide freely.”

”Then you can sign up on day of the sports festival.” Chabashira-sensei introduced it without breaking any sweat.

But many faces darkened already even after sunlight was coming from the window.

But Suzune took out a small notebook to write down the key points.

During the period, she also asked about 6th item and specific registration rules for that project.

The recording of Suzune was stopped only after a definite answer was obtained.

What’s going on? Do other people not exist in class?

”• ? ∆” Yukimura turned his face albeit slowly to look at.....

”O ’ O” Sotomura felt disgusted the more this period goes on.

xxxxx

” ’ • ! O” Murata was just running through a deep forest that seemed to be full of weird spider kind of webs everywhere, it was just so creepy.

But he suddenly stopped a little, and touched his forehead in distress.

”What’s wrong, Murata? Did you find something?”

”...No, I just....I feel pity, worried. I don’t know.”

”Ah...do you have any family members?”

”We’re going to die! I am telling you, we should...we should just go back!”

”Then there is only one criterion for judging sports festival, and that is points you get.”

”If we take class as the unit, then we will combine scores of all students and compare total score with other classes.”

”And if it’s an individual unit, it’s how many points you can get and then compare them with other people’s scores. At same time, this sports festival will be very beneficial to you.”

”Because this time we are only competing within our grade, and by doing such, we will also compare the scores of boys and girls separately.”

As Chabashira said this, she activated the electronic display blackboard that was installed this year.

Rewards and punishments based on class (separate by grade)

First place +200 points

Second place +100 points

Third place - 100 points

Fourth place - 200 points

The rewards and points are so attractive that you can’t help but take a second look.

Because total points awarded are 300 points, and deducted are also 300.

Addition and subtraction exactly 0.

This is range of rewards that apply to every grade.

After a sports festival, all students participated, but school’s expenditure for next month was equal to 0.

No need to pull out a single hair.

Chairman Sakayanagi is back and is indeed different.

For the students in Grade 2 Class D, what they consider is not school’s balance of income and expenditure, but...

”Why are 3rd and 4th place winners losing points?”

”The class is only 755 points now. If you subtract another 200 points, won’t our living expenses be only 50,000 a month?”

”I have to spend 2,000 a day, 50,000 is not enough!”

”This school is a scam! I comfur!”

”Hey, Miyamoto. It’s confur....”

”Um... It’s concur. I think.”

”Fuck you, who cares?!”

Um.....

It should be said this student is belittling his own class too much. He is about to become last one as soon as he opens his mouth.

Although it is generally so pessimistic.

But don’t forget what this class has, and even how it survived sports meet last year and then soared to Class A in one fell swoop.

Look!

Remuneration per individual (separate by grade, gender)

1st place - 2 million PP or Transfer ticket (limited)

2nd place’s - 1 million PP

3rd place: 500,000 PP.

Huge points rewards and class transfer coupons were used directly for individuals.

”Could the transfer ticket be--?”

The classmates were all excited in surprise. Could this kind of reward be given out directly?

Isn’t it said to be worth 20 million?
